Great, flexible, minimalist shoe. Comfortable without socks.

LOVE!!! As a wearer of Lems and Nike's barefoot sneakerversion from about 7 years ago, I am partial to a barefoot style. I had never tried Merrell's before. These are a delight! Wide through the toe box, snug to the foot when laced, feel as if you are wearing almost nothing at all and the bright blue and yellowish green are so fun! I highly recommend! Even if they do wear out relatively quickly (the fabric tears), they will be worth it and I'll still wear them as water shoes and out and about. As any true barefoot shoe enthusiast knows, when they find a shoe that works, duck tape doesn't even deter them from wearing them! :) .

I have a four other pairs of a barefoot style shoes made by another and more expensive company. I was hesitant to order these but really liked the style. I’m so glad I tried these shoes. They feel great and they do fit like a glove. I have a wide foot and they don’t pinch or pull anywhere. The sole is flexible and the shoe is well made. The laces stayed tied. I will be buying all my barefoot style shoes from Merrill from now on.

Love these shoes! I am a big fan of the barefoot running shoes. These are perfect. Light, response, super comfortable right out of the box. As with all running shoes, I size up 1/2 to 1 size.

First shoe I found that doesn't bother my toes.

I like the Vapor Glove 3 - fit and comfort work well for me. Note this is a 'barefoot' shoe - so I can feel the ground underfoot very well. I've found that wearing these helps with my posture, knee pain, etc., but it did take me time to adjust to wearing zero drop shoes. Wish they would make this shoe 'forever'...

ended up with a woman's shoe instead of men's so obviously a problem - but not the shoe's fault

I love them

I am a 67 year old lady with a history of sore feet whenever I try to walk for exercise. With these shoes I am now walking five miles a day six days a week with NO pain! This is my third pair, not because they don't hold up, but because I walk a LOT and don't EVER want to be without a good pair of them.

Minimalist shoes, unbelievably lightweight, super comfortable

I bought the blue ones from Zappos. This is my 2nd pair. I also have the green ones. I absolutely LOVE these shoes. They are currently my favorite shoes. I bought the 2nd pair so I don't have to do without after I wear the 1st pair out. I did change out the laces for some no tie laces, but the ones that come with these shoes are great. They're stretchy which adds to the comfort of the shoe. These shoes give you the best of going barefoot with the best of wearing shoes. I wear these every day. I also have a pair of these in the leather style as well. I bought a size 5 & they are perfect.

Fit perfect and exactly as expected. I had a pair of similar shoes I purchased back in 2010. I hope these last just as long as those did. I will be wearing these shoes daily.

I really enjoy the minimalist shoe sole, as in vibram etc and was looking forward to these for a walking shoe. This shoe is considered to have a "Barefoot" sole. That is true, this felt more like walking on bare feet. I realized I need the minimalist sole, which has a little more substance to it, as opposed to the barefoot type sole. I don't have arch problems etc so the minimal arch support is fine for me. I highly recommend these shoes if you like the barefoot type sole. As for sizing, I like a larger size for more toe box room. The 8.5 were a tad too big, the 8 was perfect. I wear a 7.5 in a dress shoe.

I loved these shoes, however, with my flat feet they didn't work for me at all. I was hoping I could use them for canoeing/light hiking, but after wearing them around the house I realized it was a no go and I need more support. Darn. Great shoes.

2nd Review: Love them. Had same pair for 6-7 years and they are starting to wear out. So I got a new pair. A very comfortable, good, al-around shoe for everyday, travel, light hiking, running and leisure. DKC, Mi Wuk Vlg. CA

I have had this same pair of Merrill Shoe, same style for 6+ years and I loved them---they are finally getting holes in them. I ordered same color, style of this Merrill shoe---"Vapor Glove" recently and they are great too...subtle little style changes but basically the same shoe. I'm happy to have a new pair! The fit and size was perfect. The sneaker is not rough looking but rather is very sleek and stylish. Just what I was looking for! I highly recommend this sneaker.

These shoes are so cute they fit perfect true to size. No arch support but I knew that going in. I would totally recommend them.

It was exactly what I was looking for- very comfortable with a low profile style. I use for working out. Other training shoes look big and clumsy so I am pleased with these!!
