I’m using the shoes to trail run on very primitive unleveled terrain. They did not disappoint. They fit perfectly and were immediately comfortable despite having not being broken in. The grip on these shoes were also very impressive as I maintained control on wet ground. This was my first pair of Merrells but I will be buying more from this brand show.

A life changing shoe. No joke. I swapped out my transition-to-barefoot gym shoes for these and my feet have never felt healthier or stronger. Buy these shoes. (I have since also purchased the Merrell Vapor Glove 4 and IMO the Vapor Glove 3 is a better shoe.

I had a previous version of Merrell barefoot running shoes, and was looking for a replacement. I agree with previous comments that this pair felt tight in the toe box and I think the reason is that the sole runs over the top of the foot, restricting movement on the top of the toe. I went up a half size from usual and am happy with the fit. I have very high arches, and while these don't have 'traditional' arch support (i.e. padding), the sole is shaped to provide support to the arch.

My feet are exactly 24.2 cm (9.5 in.) long, which puts me in an odd place, shoe-wise. I like a size 7 1/2 in sandals and shoes I *will not* wear socks with, and a size 8 in athletic shoes and shoes I *will* wear socks with. A while ago, I bought a pair of these in 7 1/2, and they fit like a glove with very thin socks. I like snug shoes, so I kept them. However, I walk and/or run every day of my life and I soon wished I had sized up to 8 because they cause slight discomfort at the tips of my toes. I love the shoes, however, so I make them work by sticking to thin socks (I live in Florida right now, so that’s quite doable). I just bought 5 more pairs of these shoes (that’s how much I love them!), so I bought them in size 8 because I plan to move north soon, and expect to be wearing socks more often. The larger size is so much more comfortable for cardio exercise where foot freedom is paramount. If you are into minimalist footwear, get these shoes; I am nuts about them.

I have 3 pairs. I am a nurse and on my feet for 8 hours non-stop. I feel like I am cheating because they make me feel barefoot. I bought my first pair for exploring Hawaii and was thrilled with the way they performed. As one buyer stated, there is slight wear on the inside front but I have had mine since 2016 and wear them constantly

My new shoes are awesome! I have difficult feet to please and these did the trick. They are very comfortable, look good, and are perfect for my long walks.

I have always been a Merrell fan and these do not disappoint. After seeing them on a friend I HAD to order a pair. They are so comfortable (like wearing sippers) that I think I will order a second pair. I Ike the lightweight feel for the upcoming warm weather. Very happy with these sneakers!

I really like these shoes. Bought them for work and they've held up well - I'm on my feet 8+ hours a day. They do make them narrower than earlier versions of this shoe, and I had to send a pair back because there was a flaw in the manufacturing. Overall, though, I'm on my second pair and planning to buy a third.

Shoes feel like wearing slippers— so comfortable. Note to can feel everything underfoot so not sure these would be good for rough terrain or running, but really awesome for a general walk about shoe.

These are my go anywhere, do anything shoe. From hiking to running to the grocery store, they get it done. The fabric upper seems to be wearing better than the Vapor Glove 2, which was wearing out much too soon, and they have the same minimal structure and fit.

I love these! I am a nurse and am on my feet a lot. Oddly, I have discovered that a minimalist shoe works better for me than a shoe with lots of cushioning and support. My feet dont hurt at the end of the day after wearing these cuties.

I usually wear a ten in athletic shoes (Brooks, Pumas), but had to size up to an eleven in these to keep my big toe from hitting the protective rubber part. They are so light and have great grip on the floor. I am looking forward to doing squats and deadlifts in them.

I love these shoes for running. This is my third pair. They are the best barefoot shoes for the money. I always wear them out on the side where the big toe bends and then I just buy another pair.

I originally bought these shoes for ninja warrior training. They have excellent grip and make balance obstacles and warped walls and spider climbs a breeze. I ordered a half size smaller for ninja training. I then bought a second pair for a trip to Disney. We’ve been averaging 10 miles per day and my feet are so happy! I have no pain in my arches or tops of my feet like I’ve had past trips. I’m about to order a pair in leaner for work!

I usually wear a size 9, but the 9 in this shoe was too big, and the 8.5 was perfect. I have a narrow foot and very narrow heel. The laces allow me to tighten the shoe enough, and the heal is perfect, even barefoot. There is no arch support because this shoe is meant to mimic walking barefoot. I love that the entire foot can roll as it is designed to do. Thick-soled shoes always make me feel like I am stomping around on snow shoes! The style is cute, I love the colors, (I picked Turbulence), and the sole has a great grip. I am gradually strengthening my arches by spending more time per day barefoot or in these shoes. I also bought a pair of the Trail Glove 4, which offers a little more support, particularly for the arch. I decided to keep them both.

These shoes are so much fun:) Love the styling, colors, and the fact that they are vegan friendly!!! The toe box is roomy/very comfortable, the heels are just right (which is very hard for me to find as I have narrow heels) and my heels don't slide in and out as I walk. These shoes are not what I was or still am looking for, but I plan to keep them as they are comfortable to wear at home and for short shopping errands. I am still looking for a shoe (tennis shoe style, I already have Merrell hiking boots and love them) that will provide needed support for taking daily walks around our neighborhood and short day trips/hikes. The lack of arch support in these shoes does cause me some foot fatigue and pain when worn most of the day, but then so do my slippers. Therefore this is really a huge improvement!

I bought these to replace a pair of New Balance Minimus. I have a wide foot, and although the New Balance pair were a wide width, they never felt right: they were only wide in the toe box and after a couple of months, I started to experience pain in my right foot while running (and that pain continued when I wasn't wearing the New Balance shoes). I was a little reluctant to buy the Merrell Vapor Glove 3 because I'd had 2 pairs of the Vapor Glove 2, which were a little too narrow and both pairs ended up ripping along the inside of the toe box. The Vapor Glove 3 is a great improvement over the previous version in that they are slightly wider to accommodate a wider foot comfortably. They are better constructed so that I don't foresee that they'll rip like the Vapor Glove 2. As a minimalist sole goes, I like these better than the New Balance Minimus as they are lighter weight and more flexible through the whole sole. I've spent the last week running in the Vapor Glove 3 and have experienced no foot pain at all. They are wonderful shoes at a great price ($35 less than the New Balance Minimus).

These shoes are super cute and I really wanted them to work out, but unfortunately they had to go back. My feet have a very high arch, but it's farther back than in most shoes, including these. The shoes look and feel well made and are very cute. The ball of the foot part is kind of wide, so if you have narrow feet these likely won't work for you, but average and wide feet should be just fine.

I love these shoes so much. I was having incredible bunion foot pain. My doctor suggested going barefoot on sand was helpful, so I did that EVERY DAY for 6 months! I forgot that my feet ever hurt! And so I got these shoes and as long as I am wearing these, which are totally flat like my feet are flat, and flexible soul like ballet shoes, they are great! I have long toes and these shows allow me to really exercise and flex my feet and they wear surprisingly well, better than any of my zillion shoe fails. I actually run now on mowed field, barefoot or wearing these. If your feet don't want to be trapped in a girdle, but develop foot strength, this is the answer! Plus, stylish! Techie!

Bought these for lifting; I typically remove my shoes for squats and deads. Incredibly comfortable and stylish! I love them so much I may even try running in them.

This is my second pair of Merrell Gloves and they continue to be my go to shoes for errands, walks, and short hikes. Comfortable with a nice wide toe box. Minimal design that really allows you to feel the earth. I normally wear a 10 due more to the width of my fore foot not the length of my foot. These are a tad long for me but my foot stays securely in place and does not slide around. I've decided I like the extra wiggle room and will not be sizing down. I have narrow heels and a wide fore foot and besides the length they fit like a glove.

These were my first pair of minimalist shoes. I like them! I'd gotten 8.5 and size 9 because I wasn't sure of the fit, but the 8.5 was right for me, which considering in small cut shoes like Nike I tend to wear closer to a 9 or 9.5 in women's. These shoes I got for work and they absolutely stop on a dime, I haven't tripped or lost my footing once wearing these, regardless if a surface was wet or not. My posture has improved too because you become very aware of how you tend to stand and walk in these shoes. From day 1 my calves had a pump and I could feel muscles in my feet I'd forgotten were there. I also checked the review from the men's selection of the Vapor Glove 3 and I have to agree that they shoes have a wear point that forms right on the inside of the foot right next to the outside of my big toes. Happens right at the reinforcement line meant to prevent that, and it's caused by the pinch point that happens when you take a step. Other than that, this is an amazing shoe with or without socks!
