These shoes fit nicely and are very comfy, however, I'd like a little nubbier outsole for a trail shoe, more like the New Balance Minimus. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep them.

These fit like a glove however the top stitching bit into the top of my foot. I’m returning them.

I really like the fit of this shoe but the sole is so insubstantial a wool felt insole - about 1/8" - made the shoe too tight. The toe box is wide, natural foot-shape. Out of the box, I thought they looked narrow, but the fit was perfect without the insole. The toe box could have a little more volume. Close call, as I love a minimal shoe, but I need more insulation between my foot and the ground. It's fall and I live in New England. If you like almost nothing between your feet and the ground, you may like the feel of this shoe.

I wanted to love these. I don't think they'd hold up long, but I wear shoes out in three months or so anyway, and I think they'd at least last for the summer. I love going barefoot, and I have wide bunion-y feet, so the wide toe box and minimal sole seem perfect. They're a little goofy looking, but that's okay. But: they were super uncomfortable. The tongue area is very wide and low on the shoe, so that grommets for the lowest laces hit right at the big toe joint, they're so low on the shoe, that even taking the laces out of the lowest set of holes, it rubbed and created a painful pressure point. So I sent them back. If you have normal width feet, they'd probably be great.

The shoe is really cute, however not what I expected. From the picture it looks like it would be a mesh type material. Instead it is almost like a watershoe type material. The material is sort of thick, but the overall shoe is pretty thin. Not much arch support and the sole is very thin. I ordered the Glove 3 and 4 to compare the difference and its night and day. The 3 seemed a bit looser overall and just seemed like a cheaper shoe. I have other barefoot shoes I love, this just couldn't compare. It's a really cute shoe, so I was disappointed.

I love how these shoes feel however they are not durable at all. Within months the fraying began and at 8 months we have some actual holes. It's my second pair and I was disappointed in how long they lasted. Also, hate that there is no more pull tabs!

These shoes are only good for treadmill running or maybe sidewalk running. I tried to run a neighborhood trail in them and they killed my feet. I felt every pebble and rock like I was completely barefoot.

I usually wear a 10 and the 10.5 was perfect in this shoe. I recently transitioned to barefoot shoes so I was specifically looking for a running shoe that had a generous toe box, no arch support and no heel. If it weren't for the horrible toe bumper, these would have fit the bill. Barefoot shaped shoes by nature are larger in front and have a tendency to look like clown shoes. Adding a super thick, clunky and BRIGHTLY COLORED toe bumper only makes this EXPONENTIALLY worse. Seriously, I ended up trying on this shoe in almost every color and it just kept getting worse (the gray-purple-yellow combo was the most clownish of the bunch). The other issue with the pointless toe bumper is that it was starting to rub on my toes — and I hadn't even run in these, much less left the house in them. I have a pretty low volume foot too, so that goes to show just how shallow the toe box is in these. Merrell, make the toe bumper more like the Trail Glove shoe (or get rid of the arch support in that shoe) and I'll give these a second shot.

The shoe fits well. It’s a ‘barefoot ‘ shoe, so no arch support. I was a bit disappointed at how ‘cheap’ the material looks and it also has some unexpected rigidity at the hall of the foot. I haven’t worn it for too long - I will update the review once I’ve had a chance to break it in.

The show was too small, had to return.

The shoes were just too small even though I ordered the size I always wear. I would like to buy them in a correct size, but I wed to buy them where I can be fitted.
