Great barefoot feel. Very comfortable and light. Shoes have 15 to 20 miles on them and so far so good.

I bought this shoe because they were thinner and more stylish than my trail glove 3 and I love those as well.
This shoe seems very durable and I love the colors. Great for running trails. I can't think of anything bad to say. My trail gloves can go on concrete and trails, I wouldn't use these for concrete yet but they are fantastic to wear around as an everyday shoe as well.

A little narrower than normal and sized for bare feet (which I suppose is appropriate), I like them a lot. New favorites.

I use these now full time for training, weight lifting and all outdoor activities. I really love these shoes, they fit well and allow unrestricted movement of my foot and ankle. I am slowly increasing my use of them and am considering using them for running, but have never used a barefoot trainer for distances before. Will update.

This is my first minimalist shoe, and my first pair of merrell's. I will be getting another pair.

I have owned prior iterations of this product and I must say they really improved on this one. Version 3 looks really nice and the fit is snug(more so than 1 & 2). The material also feels a lot better. These shoes are excellent for indoor sports like squash and indoor basketball. I also use as them as casual shoes when the weather is warmer.

Low profile, lightweight, thin sole. Everything I'm looking for while still being durable.

Merrell has a winner of a product. I'm a teacher and on my feet a lot everyday and I wear these to help strengthen my feet and they are awesome. After a long day my feet don't feel tired like with other shoes. This is a great product. I have a pair of the version 2's and 3's. They are both great. Keep making them and I'll keep buying them. If your looking for a great shoe that will strengthen your feet while wearing them this has you covered!

I had Vapor Glove 2s for about six months before the mesh sides blew out after moderate use - maybe 50 miles running, some light hiking, and then everyday office wear. The VG2 felt great on my feet, and the lack of durability was a big disappointment. But, since, I couldn't find anything comparable, I decided to buy another pair.
Literally the day after I bought that pair of VG2, the VG3 became available. I kicked myself and ordered a pair of VG3s, figuring that they wouldn't be much different and I'd have them for when I blew out my second pair of VG2.
Thanks to having brand new pairs of each, I was able to do a perfect side by side comparison. I was pleasantly surprised. The VG3 improved on the VG2 in every way I can detect, except for an extra mm of sole thickness. They've added more reinforcement for the exact spot that blew out on my VG2, and on top of that, the toebox has gotten roomier. As a wide footed person, these are all very welcome changes that should result in greater longevity.
The only negative is a slight, barely detectable increase in the padding of the shoe. Not sure why they did that - the mesh will almost certainly degrade before the sole, so maybe they were just worried about people complaining about barefoot shoe comfort. That worries me a bit: DO NOT MAKE THE SOLE ANY THICKER OR MORE PADDED. It defeats the purpose of a barefoot shoe! VG3 is one of the few out there that actually delivers on that promise, and I'd hate to see it drift away.
Overall: If you want a barefoot shoe, buy this one. Period.

There wasn’t enough arch support for me, so I returned them. I like the looks of the shoe.

Love the design. Even better in person. Bought half a size smaller than what I usually wear. Feels very comfortable. Bought them for work, I work 10hr shifts and am on feet all day. By far the most stylish barefoot shoe I own. It has zero drop but was hoping that it would be more low to the ground so I could feel the ground better.

I have many Merrill shoes. This one is a bit to barefoot for me. I feel every stone and pebble when I run or even walk. The fit is perfect and the quality is as expected. Also, they look great - I need a bit more support/cushion

This will be my second pair of vapor gloves as I literally wore through my last pair in 5 months. They are great minimalist runners with a great wider toe box and zero drop. Unfortunately the more you run, the faster the mesh wears down along the sole edge and the sole wears through. They allow you to feel every nuance of the road which really trains your stride, cadence and gait. I bought the vapor 4's for trail with the more aggressive tread. The vapor 3 and vapor 4 are great to interchange if you alternate terrain often. You'll love them but get 2 pair of you run a lot because they will wear down quickly.

I love this shoe so much I bought 3 additional pairs. They are very light weight and very comfortable! The only negative comment I have is that one of the shows tongues stitching came undone. I hade to take it to cobbler for repair. However, that is not a show stopper. In addition to 3 other pairs I bought I bought a pair of Vapor Glove 4s to try out.

I've been wearing these shoes for about a year now and day to day they are excellent. Super comfortable and definitely feel barefoot. I took them when I went hiking for a few days around a glacier however and now they are starting to get holes in the fabric. They worked very well for the hike, they dried out quickly so I could wear them the next day, but it was too much wear for them.

This is a correction to the review I filed 10 minutes ago. Looking back at the shoe photos, I find that the toecap on the turqoise is apparently not orange. So thinking back, maybe the blue offended my eye just because it was paler and the texture was so prominent. That is, it was a visual grab even if not orange. Apologies for the confusion. I just shouldn't have let the review slide.

Returned primarily due to fit . Fit: These shoes are longer than my older (same-size) pair of zero-rise Merrells. More importantly, the instep lacing area is closer to my toes (that is, the toe box doesn't start in the right place). Would a shorter size fix that? Probably not. And anyhow...Garish toecap: Although I love the turquoise shoe color, the too-curvy orange toe caps are a visual negative - would look better as a simple curve or (much better) in black, or a color to match the upper.

These are not the most stylish shoes. They aren’t the most practical shoes. But they are very comfortable as an all day walking shoe and for running. They seem to fit like sandal, I wear a full size smaller in these as compared to standard athletic shoes.

I love these! I would buy six pair if they weren't out of stock. I found that they do not run true to size, I needed to go a full size down for them to fit, I typically wear or measure at 10.5, the 9.5 fit.

After wearing these shoes for about a week, I can say that these shoes are really comfortable for a barefoot shoe. Has all the features of a barefoot shoe yet doesn't feel like when compared witj other barefoot shoes I have. My only issue is that when walking in cold weather, air easily seeps through the mesh material.

I bought these for my husband who's CrosFit coach told him he needed a flat sneaker. The description telling you to order down is true. We ordered his sneaker size (11.5) and a half size down (11) - it was the smaller size that fit. He is wearing these with socks, so if you were going to wear barefoot, I'd even say to order a while size down. He is very happy with them and says no foot or back pain even after an hour of CrossFit. Very happy with them and just what he needed/wanted.
