I like the wide toe box which allows my toes to spread and how the top part of the shoe doesn't sinch down into my feet.

I have flat feet and struggle with a variety of shoes. The Vapor Glove 3 allows my foot to move in the ways that work best - including a wider toe box that lets my toes move in ways that are natural and not constrained.

Having had previous Vapor Gloves, I had to try the latest one, as Merrell had fixed some of the previous issues. Seeing the one in red just beckoned me to push the purchase button and I am not disappointed with the look - simply killer! I immediately replaced the laces with self-locking elastic ones in red and I am totally liking the way they look and trust me others are asking me what they are and where did I get them. The only issue I have with them is that they are less then perfect in terms of comfort. My running days are behind me so I where them as all-day wear. Not sure if they were designed for that, but I can deal with a little discomfort given how they look on my feet.

Just got these shows and only have worn them a couple of times but I am impressed by them right out of the box and through some movement drills. The give me the feel to ground connection I'm looking for. I give it a 4 star because I'm not sure how longevity and comfort is until I put them through more. Until then, get movin'!

Light, minimal. As advertised. I had to go a half size down.

I'm currently coming back from a nasty hamstring strain and I wanted to try something lightweight and flexible with a good feel for the ground. These do the job. After a lifetime of traditional running shoes I'm sure I couldn't take these on the road or trail, but on the treadmill they are great. The fit is great at a half size smaller than my normal running shoe size and they offer a close to barefoot feel. They feel very natural. Maybe after a month or two on the treadmill I can take them outside. For now they are helping me get back into running again.

This is my second pair of these. I love the shoes but can only give 4 stars based on the durability of my last pair. The soles held up for over 400 road miles before developing holes but the upper started to tear early on. They never got to the point I could not use them, but I feel the upper should be a bit more durable. If this pair does better I'll give 5 stars on the next pair.

The Vapor Glove 3 is highly recommended. It fits very well; the barefoot feature is exceptional, especially for urban environments. In NYC, it's quite dirty with lots of trash around. The Vapor Glove 3 allows for barefoot running on these streets. I've also used it for light hiking in outdoor trails. The Vapor Glove Trail is a bit better for trails, but the VP3 is adequate for some rough terrain (depending on your feet).

Overall great shoe, used it on the track all summer about 6-8 miles per week really felt the muscles in my legs and feet working. Almost felt as though i wasn't wearing anything on my feet, really light and comfortable. I wear a size 13 in regular sneakers but for this one I had to go down to a 12 which fit great. The stitching that holds the laces in and the lip of the shoe are easy to tear while tightening the shoe which happened in the second week using them. I ended up getting a new one but despite being careful not to over tighten the shoe, the stitching still ripped (Not as bad the first one, only one stitching for the loop of the laces came out and the lip stitching is partial torn at the seam for both) I'm still able to use them.

Although this is not very close to actual barefoot running, these shoes are incredibly light and well ventilated and perfect for long distance running. The material seems to be of premium quality, specially the sole, but the glue joints of the upper mesh and the sole can be made more rugged and long lasting. Runners who runs in zero drop shoes would love the wide toe box, flexibility, and moderately firm hold in the heel area to prevent foot slipping inside the shoe. Overall the shoe is good, except it can be made more durable.

Comfortable out of the box. Very nice walking shoe. I will know its durability after about 200 miles. Good so far.

I absolutely love this shoe. As a phys ed teacher, I wear these shoes all day everyday and it's like walking around barefoot. Exactly what I was looking for. However, the upper rips after about five or six months. That's why I can only give them 4 stars. Everything else is perfect. A wide toe box. Super flexible sole. Good job making this shoe but please work on the upper.

Overall very pleased with the product. It is comfortable and great for wearing on hikes or just to go run a quick errand. Only downside I have noticed is it lacks proper ventilation and your feet get pretty hot after wearing it for an extended period.

I really like this shoe. I had the "five fingers" shoe in the past and loved the minimalist feel of them. This shoe emulates that feeling very well, it's like wearing slippers outside, they're very light and breathe well.

Loved the color, looks, and general fit except that it was too large in the toe box. Had to return bc there wasn't a replacement size available. I wear size 9, but would opt for size 8 to make it fit me better.

This is the best barefoot shoe I've ever come across. Its amazingly comfortable and very lightweight. I wear them for literally everything including casual, hiking, biking, to the office, to conventions. Its a nice enough shoe to wear in professional situations and still be comfortable. The main thing I like about these shoes is how I can still feel the textures I'm walking on. Its not so much that it hurts when you step on a rock but you will feel some "pressure" if the rock is large enough or sharp enough. The one thing that surprised me most about the shoe was that even walking on incredibly hot asphalt my feet didn't burn. The sole is so thin I thought it would get too warm, but it never did. Same situation for cold weather, it was never too cold to wear them, but if any water or snow got on top my feet/socks did get wet. I live where the summers can get above 100 F and the winters can easily go below 0 F. The only downside to this product is the mesh started to "disolve" after about a month or two of wear. I've had them for a year now so its not a destructive amount of wear and tear but I still do have holes in my shoes.

Please make the Vapor Glove 4 wider then the earlier vapor gloves! The Vapor Glove 3 would get 5 stars if the shoe was wider and if the sole under the ankle was completely flat, the sole under the ankles is a bit rounded. The vapor glove 3 lacing fastens the shoes securely to your feet, good for lateral and speed movements. They can be machine washed and dried, something you can't do with most shoes. This shoe would have no competition if it had wider options. The shoe is more flexible then vivo and zeroshoes, zeroshoes shouldnt even be considered flexible or minimal.

This is my go-to-shoe when running on asphalt or light trails. Unlike the TrailGlove4 the footshape and room for a straight big toe is spot on. The thickness of the middle sole has increased in the newest version which I like for my longer runs such as marathons. They are more narrow than i.e. Vivobarefoot and Xeroshoes and this is the best fit for my slim foot. That's the reason that I have worn me through model 1, 2 and now 3 despite the fact that all versions unfortunately have an upper that tears. This latest model didn't improve on that at all. It so bad that I had to stitch them together with needle and thread. This is very annoying and I wish they will finally solve this in VaporGlove4 ! This would make it the perfect running shoe earning it all 5 stars.
