This is the second pair I have ordered of these shoes. This shoe really has excellent arch support while maintaining a slim look on the foot. I have found them to be very comfortable for daily and athletic use.

This shoe fits my foot perfectly. Zero break in time, I immediately began wearing these for 14 hour work days in outdoor ed- doing everything from hiking, to cleaning, carrying heavy things etc. Instantly my favorite. And they are vegan friendly!!! My favorite forever. Just ordered a pair for my mom.

I purchased a pair of merrell women's lithe glove barefoot athletic shoes a few years back and I was amazed with the way they formed to my feet and still provided the support i was looking for. This new pair I just ordered are the women's vibram trail glove 4 barefoot in a half size larger than before. I couldn't wait for my size to come in, and I'm glad I made this purchase. They are even better than the lithe glove. They have a new tongue which is much improved due to it being connected to the shoe and stays in place well. They seem to be lighter and they are even more snug to my feet with great support. The tread pattern is much thicker and provides great traction. Medical issues cause me to slip around indoors and outdoors with the slightest change in surface beneath my feet and these trail glove 4 shoes allow me to be more grounded indoors and out. The rain has not slowed me down yet! Will continue to purchase/wear.

I wouldn't say these feel like being "barefoot" but they are the most comfy sneakers ever! And they look great.

This is a great shoe for my foot. I've owned the Vapor Glove for quite a while (use it a lot for travel because it's so light) but was looking fo something with more support. The shoe happened to arrive the day after I was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis (goodbye cheap flip flops). When I tried it on, I found that it was the only footwear I owned (including some excellent running shoes with a lot more padding and arch) that allowed me to put weight on that foot. I immediately bought another pair (one for inside and one for outside). The PF is gone, but I find myself wearing these shoes a lot/around town. The tongue attached at one side (new to me) works quite well. They look good too.
I'd also recommend:

Love them! This is my third pair. Great traction. I love barefoot shoes and these have more support than I normally wear. Easy to slip on. The shoelaces never untie, don’t even need to double knot them.

Merrells are my go to running and work shoe. Sadly they all seem to experience the same problem with the rubber comming apart from the shoe or wear out on the sides a little quicker than most running shoes. However the trail glove has proven itself the most durable and comfterable for long runs on the hard asphalt!

Great trail shoe. A big adjustment to get used to. If you have been running in cushioned shoes, your calves will be sore for a few days. These have been great for alleviating foot pain that developed over years of running in cushioned shoes.

Purchased the black in my typical size. Need to wear barefoot or thin sock. Wraps the foot well, yet very comfortable with good support. However, the Persian Red is more attractive than the photo.

I really like this but with socks, they felt a bit small. I've ordered the next size up, size 6.

The great looking sneaker is a close fit- meaning best barefoot or with thin socks. Very comfortable, hugs the foot and looks smaller then its size!

This feels like a great shoe. Very light weight, great grip to sole. Can go with or without socks. The price was $20 less than REI when I purchased. Can't beat that! Looking forward to more hiking in this comfortable shoe. Purchased a size 6...works well with sock. My size is actually 5.5.

I wear women’s 11 and bought these for hiking. For reference if you wear other “barefoot” lines, the merrell “gloves” are more snug and more structured than the vivobarefoot products. I wear the vapor gloves for all gym activity and had been wearing them for hiking as well. Injured my toe and needed a stiffer sole for the hikes and this fit the bill. It’s a remarkable shoe! So comfortable and light, breathable. I have even been wearing it for gym stuff, but it excels on the trail. It’s also one of the cutest active shoes I’ve ever owned and I get compliments on them frequently. Ideal!

These are the best shoes EVER! I wear them everywhere, form hiking to running and just hanging out around town! A little thicker than the vapor glove, which is actually nice for running on gravel, but still has that barefoot feel. My one complaint is that they tear and wear fast, but they are such great shoes that its worth it to spend a little extra money to buy another pair. It takes a while to get used to the barefoot feel, but once you do these are awesome!

This is a great barefoot trail shoe. The fit is fantastic and they are so comfortable. I’ve worn them on grass and pavement and find them comfortable either way. They have great grip when running up a steep grassy hill...no slipping at all. I love that they are designed to be worn without socks, but I will likely wear them with socks sometimes. I did not need to break them in or ease into wearing them as I’m used to running in minimal shoes.

Wow, my second pair of these and I was not disappointed. I bought my first for a trip and wore them exclusively, then wore them teaching and my legs/feet never felt better.

I REALLY like this shoe. It’s very comfortable and light!!!! Bought them for walking to and from work in the summertime. I like how they don’t feel bulky and almost like I don’t have a shoe Omar all.

Fits like, well, a glove. Incredibly comfortable. I had been wearing the Bare Access Arc shoes for some years, and couldn't find them anymore. After wearing these for a few days I am very happy. Comfortable, lightweight, look good, and don't require socks. I use them for my daily walks and weight training at the gym.

I have enormous feet and usually wear an 11 or 11.5. I ordered the 11 and was pleasantly surprised they fit comfortably. This may be partly due to the fact that I have narrow feet and they’re slightly wider in the toe box. There also not heavily padded. I’m able to tie them tightly enough for my narrow feet without them bunching or looking odd. The sole is also quite grippy and firm. I wear them primarily for cycling and some outdoor walking.

I have wide feet- and rheumatoid arthritis. I can't run, but I try to walk as much as I can. I had struggled to find a shoe I could use in the gym, let alone on the trail. That is until the Trail Glove 4! The wide roomy toe box gives me plenty of room, even if my joints swell, there is enough room. The flexibility of the sole makes walking comfortable. There is just the right amount of padding and support. Enough to enhance comfort, especially on rocky paths, but not so much as to lose ground-feel. Than you so much for making this shoe, it is perfect!

Love this shoe. I don't have great feet..bunions and a little arthritis in my big toe joint. But, these shoes are very comfortable for me. They don't have a lot of cushioning but my feet don't hurt nearly as much, and sometimes not at all, when I wear them. I haven't run in them yet, but have used them for hiking trails, usually 3 or 4 miles at a time. My new favorite shoe!

I have a wide foot and it’s really hard to find athletic shoes that fit. These are wide in the toe but narrow everywhere else. They are perfect for me. I do wish that they had a little more arch support.

I usually don't write reviews but I recently walked a portion of the Portugal Camino (300 km) wearing theses shoes and I was the only only in my group of four who did not end up with blister/s. They fit great and were very comfortable.

These shoes are awesome! They fit true to size, extremely comfortable and very funky with the way the shoes lace. I love the color!
