Definitely wish I read the reviews before ordering. Order a half size up since they seem to fit on the more narrow side. There is a strange bulging that occurs in between the 1st & 2nd lace eyelet where the lining cuts away into the tongue- which I foresee snow getting inside the shoe if you’re walking through a few inches or more. The most disappointing part was after a few hours of wear the material started to split from the leather. Great concept but horrendous quality for a pricier boot!

I tried these on after a long day at work (standing most of the day) and they felt really light and comfortable! I was impressed by the fact that they are light-weight and the bottom sole felt like sneakers. I bought these after my coworker raved about Sorel being great investments for her and no other shoe has kept her feet warm like Sorel boots. These are rated for really cold temperatures! I picked these shoes for my trip to Iceland, and although it should not get as cold there, I will definitely test their durability with lots of walking/hiking. Again, I am so happy that they are so LIGHT because it would make them very practical to pack! I had bought half a size up because I have wide feet and these felt true-to size. The color is even more appealing to me because the laces give it a feminine flare which matches the rubber sole, however switching the laces with teal can give it a cooler look! Can you tell I love them already? Unfortunately, I have not had any other Sorel experience to compare these to, but if you are looking for a waterproof shoe that will stand against cold climates, I think these will be a great choice.

Built for narrow feet. Order 1/2 size up if at all in doubt. Do not expect durability or extreme winter wear. Suitable for thinner legs. Because they taper toward the toe rather than having any discernible toe box, they don't balance out athletic legs like my beloved Adidas Coleahs did. I imagine a person of size would feel uncomfortable in these, because the soles are very compressible, much like a saucony or similar.

I ordered these in a size 11 which is my size in both Ahnu and Merrell hiking boots. This boot is very cute and I wanted to keep them but I don't think they will hold up to standing for hours in the cold watching wildlife. There isn't much support around the ankle either. I tied the laces tight but with the material being cloth, there just wasn't enough support. They would work for walking around as they were comfortable. I was a little surprised as other Sorel boots I've seen were always heavy duty. These are very light.

This shoe is super comfortable and is exactly true to fit. My foot is usually an exact 8.5 and this shoe fit perfectly. I purchased these for a trip to Italy in the winter time and I could not be more excited as they are going to be super comfy and exactly what I needed. I am soooo happy I bought them.

I read many reviews prior to purchasing these boots. I bought these for a trip to NYC, knowing the weather would be very cold and I would be doing a lot of walking. These boots did just the trick. First, they are very comfortable. Definitely felt like a sneaker but warm like a boot-no issues after a few consecutive days of walking 8-9 miles around the city (not joking). Second, they are stylish; look cute with skinny jeans or leggings. The faux fur adds some girlie glam to these Sorels. Finally, about the sizing. I sized up a 1/2 size based on reviews. Yes, they were a bit narrow in the toe area at first and if I was to wear thick socks, I would probably be uncomfortable. Some reviewers complained about the laces and mentioned gap-ing but these were really something I didn't notice to even remotely obsess over. In all, these kept my feet warm, were ultra comfortable and they held up well. I wore these for 4 days straight, and they still look like they just came out of the box. I highly recommend but consider sizing up.

Love the style of these boots, and the color (the grey is super cute). However, the toe area is too narrow (I do not have wide feet). As mentioned by others, there is a bit of a gap where there should be an eyelet for the laces. I don't think snow would get it as there is material underneath, but it is a bit unsightly.

These are cute boots—nice sesame color with running shoe appeal—but they are ludicrously narrow. When I say “narrow” I mean not a human foot narrow. I’m pretty sure these were designed for some two-toed animal (ostriches and sloths will dig these). They certainly don’t fit me. And, yeah, the laces gapping is real.

Love these!!! Was looking for a warm boot to wear with leggings and jeans and found these ... perfect for any age and for the cold winter..

Sadly returning. I love the look and the lightweight sneaker-feel of this winter boot. Sadly, the nylon material is annoyingly squeaky, and the spacing of the shoelace eyelets causes weird bulges on the sides. They need to have more eyelets spaced closer together, and a less noisy fabric. Oh well. Also, it is narrow if that's an issue for you

I like how light and warm these are. But the toe bed is too narrow, so my big toe rubs. Why are women's shoes so often so narrow in the toe area? Toes need room to move. Size 6 fit except for the toe area. Have to send them back. I found a pair of sketchers that are warm and more comfortable for walking and that fit perfectly. I need to be able to walk or what good are the shoes? Another thing, why does Zappos always put least star reviews last? Just wondering. I am happy with Zappos and glad I can return these though.

These boots are so cute! I had to order twice because the right boot was so different than the left in both pairs. The left is wide and comfy and the right was narrow. Second pair had a crease in both on the side which kept rubbing my feet. Needless to say, I am so sad that I have to return the second pair. The look is great but if the right wasn't so different from the left I would keep them. Big bummer.

Sadly, I returned these. They are stylish and seemed like they would be warm. But they also felt narrow and like they were making my feet tilt inwards and putting pressure on my knees. I read the reviews that said they were narrow but had to try. I don't have particularly wide feet.

Bought these for my daughter. She has large feet, between size 10-10.5 she is 5'8" and these fit her perfectly adn don't make her feet look enormous. She loves them! She bought a different mid calf height sorel that was a lttle loose in the heel but these fit well in the heel with no slippage.

LOVED the fit / super comfy. They feel like a sturdy sneaker. Based on reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size up.. happy I did this. UNFORTUNATELY, I am returning because the boots are not tall enough for the 10 inches of snow scheduled to hit the midwest. These would be perfect if they were a little taller...8/10

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing these boots and I took the advise of the reviewers. I purchased these for a NY trip; I wanted something fashionable and comfortable for walking in winter. I went a 1/2 size up. I feel though I could have easily gone a full size if I needed thicker socks. They are a tad narrow but not uncomfortable. As far as the complaints about the laces, they are spaced apart and it’s not noticeable. They are warm and the perfect casual boot, sporty style for winter.

I ordered a half size largely after reading reviews. These are great for snowy days, without wearing bulky snow boots. I wish the tread was a bit less slippery.

These boots are amazing! Yes, they do run narrow, I recommend ordering your normal size and a half-size up. Then try them on and see how you feel. I normally wear a size 8 and the 8.5 was much better. Another thing to remember with winter boots- these are narrow and you probably will be wearing thick winter socks with it so take that into account as well. I bought these for my winter trip to Iceland and was completely satisfied. They kept my feet dry, comfortable and were just so pleasant hiking around.

I was looking for a comfy, warm slip on snow boot to easily get on and off this winter as we are getting a new puppy and will be going out for walks frequently. I LOVE these and can't wait to wear them. They are nice and fuzzy inside and feel like sneakers. I have a narrowish foot with a bunion, so it's always hard for me to find comfortable shoes, and these are great. Easy to slip on and off without adjusting the lacces.

Got these for my daughter for Michigan winter and she loves them.

I live in these boots now. These boots are my new home. This is my first pair of proper snow boots and they are amazing. Everything is so soft, you could easily wear them without socks and be warm and cozy. I have very high arches and felt like they have great support. The shaft is super soft and flexible, not stiff at all. They run a tiny bit small - I usually wear a 7-7.5 and I went for the 7.5. A very thick pair of socks would probably be tight. I'm actually looking forward to talking a nice long snowy walk in these lil guys!
