Wisconsin winters are no joke. I spend a great deal of time outside;hiking skiing, and anything with the dogs. This jacket is clearly an upgrade from previous Burton and ThirtyTwo winter jackets. The style and mobility allows me to be active and stylish.

Best winter jacket I've ever owned. Fits perfectly. I wear it on the slopes and maybe the inner liner out with style. My girl liked it so much she had me order one for her.

I bought a second jacket in a larger size for colder weather to accommodate extra layers.. I like the first one so much I had to get another. I couldn't find a jacket that I'd replace it with so bought it ,again. The PNW isn't very cold but is wet and snowy. This is a great jacket for skiing climbing or any other winter sport. Dry, comfortable well place storage pockets. The heavy wait exterior is great and stands up well to days of use. I skied 78 days last year in this jacket it never failed me and I ski trees, a lot. I wanted the next size up for colder weather for extra layers. In looking for another jacket at any price I couldn't find a jacket I liked better and so I got a second one it's that good. I also liked the look of the jacket. The zip out liner is good for travel and around town as well. All said a great jacket at a great price.

I got this to replace an older model Tri-Clim jacket due to a defect in the first one. . First I have to say that The North Face stands behind their products 100%. Although I have not worn this one yet, the other Tri-Clim kept me warm at Winter Park, CO when it was 8 degrees with a 30 mph north wind. The new jacket has a much better zipper which you can use with ski gloves. This jacket has pit zips for ventilation and lots of pocket space plus a goggle cloth in the sleeve pocket. I like everything about this jacket, especially the neckline. I would definitely recommend this jacket for those bitter cold ski days.

I recently purchased this coat to replaced a previous ski coat. It arrived two days before I went to Iceland. It did wonderful in the rain and wind as Iceland is the 3rd windiest place on the planet. On the warm days I was able to zip out the inside jacket and only wear that, which was warm. It is an all around great jacket.

First time I saw this in the store I really wanted one. Once I got the money saved up to buy it I have not regretted it. True to fit, comfortable, and dependable for the weather. I really like the fact I can separate the jackets when I need to.

Bought this jacket after seeing a couple buddies wearing and owning them. All their comments were great about the jacket and I decided to pull the trigger. Boy, am I glad I did. After having a jacket almost 10 years old, this jacket was a game changer on the mountain. In the cold powder days, it kept me warm and dry, which was new to me as this jacket was a major upgrade. One of the best features is, on those warmer days, you can unzip the thermoball interior out and basically wear a shell. So you don't have to worry about being too hot and sweaty! The jacket has some nice additional features, like the goggle cleaner in the sleeve, and when the vents are all down on a spring day, the jacket vents really well. All in all I have spent about 10 days on the mountain in this jacket, and don't have one negative thing to say about it.

Im 5 10 and weigh 160. I got the Medium and it fits good but i workout alot and its a little snug in the shoulders but not too bad where i cant move. Just keep that into consideration if you exercise.

First of all, it is really good winter jacket for every temperature due to its 2-1 feature. Also, It is warm and stylish. Overall it is a great jacket, but sleeves are a little bit longer than what I thought.
