Used for skiing trip. Keep me warm and dry.

Love the coat. In retrospect I would have gotten a L instead of XL. All my other jackets are XL and this fits larger than anything else I wear. Over all it is very well made and warm.

I use this as a resort and back country ski coat. The only negative ive had so far is the lack of an inner pocket or hole for phone headphones, otherwise it has been amazing.

I purchased this jacket for my teenage son for the winter and for skiing. He doesn't like this coat, he LOVES it. the liner is an attractive jacket on its own that he wears when it's not terribly cold and the full coat is very warm and fantastic for windy and cold conditions. It's also very attractive. We got the light grey and he likes it because it's neutral and a little different from all the dark and bright colored parkas we see.

I have the hardest time finding the right winter jacket for my 6'5" adult son that is both stylish and fits right. North Face was the perfect choice. He loved it !

I love this jacket, super warm and light weight.

My girl purchased this jacket for me in New York 12-31-18. We were there to watch the ball drop in Time Square for the first time and it rained the whole day. It was a cold and wet day but I must say this jacket kept me dry and quite warm even while standing outside directly in the rain, without any cover from the elements. Great purchase. I couldn't have stood out there that long without it.

Great jacket for the slopes. Ran a little smaller so we had to send back for size up for my husband. No need for bulky sweaters as the inner layer is very warm!

Love this coat and it's ability to split into a shell and a mid layer. The mid layer is a bit boxy and not very fit, so I tend to not wear it by itself, but just the shell is a good option on warmer days. Love the color and look of it as well

I use this jacket everyday since I got it. It keeps me warm in the cold car ride to work til the heat kicks on. I do recommend having a pair of winter gloves to go with the jacket and a kneck warmer or face mask for warmth of the shoulders up. Other than that it's a great jacket and I totally recommend it.

Great Jacket...Skiing in 10/15 degree weather and this jacket is warm. I wear a light ski shirt under the jacket and need no more. Skiing in this jacket one is warm and not hot. Windproof, yes. Skiing on the 12/12th in 35 mph winds, and continue to be warm. Like the high collar for wind protection. I find the jacket comfortable to ski in, not too tight or loose, just right especially important skiing tight spots. For a cold weather jacket it is very stylist. In my opinion a great jacket for skiing.

The product is amazing. It is definitely waterproof. Kept me dry in a downpour. It is very warm and it zips high enough to keep your chin warm. The inner jacket is very stylish and nice for cool, but not cold weather. Great for cold weather when zipped into heavy shell. Only con is that the one time I washed the inner jacket (followed the instructions carefully), it got these weird dark splotches all over the jacket and collar. Managed to get the small spots out but the color is still darkened. Talked to the north face store in my area and they said they can submit it for warranty and get it replaced or give me credit (likely credit given they don't make my color combo any more sadly). That is good customer service, so i still give it five stars.

I bought this in order to be prepared for China cold weather, since it is warm and not bulky. Excellent choice.

This a great jacket for cold days outside on the mountain, and as a general winter jacket for commuting to work and the kid's activities.

This coat is awesome. Taken it snowboarding all winter long in minus 0 degree F weather and been fine. All I wear is a t-shirt under it and am never cold. The Cons, and this is all North Face's fault. They keep messing with the pockets! I bought this coat 3 years ago and it has side zippered pockets and 2 big front velcro flap pockets and a chest pocket, plus 2 huge inner pockets. I keep my glove liners and a granola bar in each of the front pockets for easy access on the chair. The inner pockets work great to shove your gloves in when using the restroom. But every year since (I don't know about before) They've removed pockets, changed the way they close or something! Leave the friggen things the way they were. They work great. Now I wish I had bought 2 and can only hope that one year they'll go back to the way mine is. Not sure who it is that's making these decisions to change it up each year but they should be hung by their toes.
