Use it wen I'm taking walks or just on a chill day out in the Windy City of Chicago. Fits great.

It is very warm and stylish..just want I need to get through the harsh winter. The website recommended a larger size. I ended up having to exchange for a size smaller.

Couldn't stand the ratty coat my son was wearing!! Decided to surprise him with this coat which fit him perfectly. He's slim and 6'6" and I was afraid the sleeves would be too short. Happily, they are a perfect fit. He's now bouncing around NYC staying warm and looking great!

My birthday is December 27. This was the best Christmas/Birthday gift I have EVER received!

Received as a gift from the fianc since I'm from Cali and just recently moved to the East Coast. The cold weather and wind chill with minus degrees temperatures definitely take some getting use to. Very fortunate to have this jacket to keep me warm!

Living in the northern part of Illinois during winter can be difficult to stay warm when you're out and about. I purchased this coat a few weeks ago hoping to do the job and it is the answer to my prayers! It keeps me very warm while we deal with the temps in the negative numbers. I love the added face mask that's attached to the coat hood!

I live in south Florida and was visiting NYC for Christmas. Purchased the Gotham Jacket ahead of my visit just in case it was going to be colder than expected. Best decision I made. It was much colder than first expected but it didn't bother me at all because the jacket kept me warm. Wind wasn't a problem, plenty of pockets to hold my items and the jacket looks great.

Needed for Northeast Winters!!!

First off, I'm from Chicago... it's cold here. I have purchased many Jackets/Coats in the past and I have always looked for what was on sale... or what was cheaper. I saw this Jacket in the store...saw the price..*gasped*... and tried it on anyway. Once I felt the quality and fit of this jacket (not to mention..Style!). I had to have it... if anybody out there is cheap (like me)... Fear not! I can assure you that it is absolutely money well spent! I have no doubt that this jacket will perform for years to come! *I have never owned a Jacket/Coat from The North Face before... this is my unbiased opinion* Happy New Year everyone! I'll be warm!....will you?

It is a great jacket for cold weather, snow high winds. It can feel a little restricted in movement it is true to sive for more movement id go a size bigger

I brought his jacket for my son. He is a high school student. I needed to purchase a jacket that would keep him warm, made durable and be realistically priced. He wanted a jacket that would be considered stylish( price and warmth meant nothing to him lol)This jacket was the perfect mix. The jacket has a connected mask on the inside to keep his face and neck warm. He wore the jacket for our trip to watch the ball drop in New York City. The weather was -7. He was the only one in our group that did not complain about the cold. The Fur around the collar is removable, which he appreciates for different styling options. The jacket has Numerous pockets perfect for hand warming and storage of phones And other handheld devices. Lastly the jacket is super lightweight and does not take up a lot of space when you're trying to store it away. Any parent of a teen, knows it is difficult to come to an agreement with your teen on just about anything.This decision was a joint effort made between myself and my son and I am happy to say we got it right on the first try. We are both very pleased with this purchase.

Gave this to my 20 year old son as a present. He loves it. Wind chills have been below zero, and the coat keeps him very warm. He just wished the outside pockets had zippers rather than a snap.

Great jacket for the cold. I go on a lot of business trips and my Canada goose is just way too bulky and hot. This coat is light warm and stylish.
