I have used these gloves for a season now and have been impressed. They offer a good blend of ruggedness, warmth and tactile ability. During cold conditions ( lower than -20c ) I kept them handy for when I needed to use all my digits. They worked well for that though at the extreme end ( -50c and below ) they lacked sufficient warmth and it would often taken a bit of time to recover from their use. No real surprise there though. Where I found they real shone was on a recent trip where they became my go to hand wear. It was a week+ long trip on a snow machine with temps ranging from -5 to -20. I used these both on the machine and for bushcraft tasks. Though admitably not indestructible I was pleasantly surprised with how well they held up. I used them working with axes and chainsaws and handling timber for a solid week and they only showed superficial wear and tear. With more prolonged use I could see how they may fail though. All in all very impressed though. Warm, tough and functional. Some of the key characteristics I look for in clothing. For sizing keep in mind that they are unisex. Order a size up if male.

Happy with the gloves. not bulky. I have the L but I would have been fine with XL. Color is good and didn't change that much after Nikwax.

These are great all around gloves. As the description implies they are also great work gloves. I have used them in cold weather and wet weather and they have preformed really well. Hands stay warm and the fit is snug enough to keep dexterity. I am a female with smaller hands and the small fit well. The cuffs were a bit bulky but still fit under my jacket sleeves. Very happy with the gloves.

Wow! These gloves are unbelievable. I couldn't decide between these gloves or the Flylow and Marmot leather ski gloves, and I'm glad I went with these. I wear large in other OR gloves but I purchased a medium in these. They are snug but not too tight and feel perfect. I use them for alpine skiing, touring, and XC skiing and they've kept my fingers toasty warm while sitting on a ski lift in 15 degree weather....and I never wear liners. I coated them in a waterproof seal and have used them while it was snowing and my hands stay completely dry. I have learned, in my opinion, that OR is the best brand available in any product. As always, thanks for making such a great product OR.

Great glove. Its hard to get a good glove that fits nice. the only thing is the cuff could be a little larger since it does not fit over my watch... but I wear a large watch... so that is my issue.

These are some tough work gloves. Don't think of them as waterproof, but think of them as warm and durable. Good for outside work where you don't mind getting your gloves dirty.

Bought these gloves for outside work around the house. Gloves have been great and handle the cold weather extremely well as it has been -10 on average. Well worth the purchase.

These are my cold day bike commute gloves as well as my moderate/cold temperature ski gloves as well as my cold day work gloves. I still haven't applied any waterproofing leather oil/conditioner but will this season.

These work gloves will be ideal for shoveling snow. The fit is perfect and although I haven't had the opportunity yet to wear them a lot, they certainly look like they are built to last.

Bought these for winter work outdoors and working with dogs on the trails. They are a bit bulky for opening snaps etc. - but as a work glove, you can't beat them. They are warm, durable and have held up well to the rigors of outdoor work. I found them a bit stiff at first, but the more you wear them, the better they get. I also dabbed them with a little mink oil to soften them up and help protect them from the wet and they were immediately more flexible and fabulous.

Great glove for all of the basic getting outside chores. Snow shoveling, working in the field, and anything else that requires a glove with a little extra protection. The leather is super soft and wears really well. Strong all around glove for recreational or just getting around tasks.

I bought these to use while working outdoors on telecom cables, using tools, climbing utility poles, etc in winter conditions. Fit of the gloves is excellent. Durable, soft leather. Warmth to bulk ratio is high. I'm very pleased with them. Considering getting another pair for my fire department gear bag, for outdoor winter incidents where I still need finger dexterity.

really nice insulated leather work gloves. very comfortable, the leather feels really nice. I don't love the longer cuffs on a work-style glove, but that's a matter of preference, I suppose.

These are a little stiff to start, but feel good and keep my hands warm. I have no concerns with doing work with these and their holding up to the abuse. Sizing seems right...maybe slightly tight.

Gloves have worn more than I expected. We're very tight at first but quickly became fitted to my hands. Be aware they are untreated leather.

So far they have kept my hands warm but really they are a little tight on my hands. OR really needs a XXL size.

This is very good glove for patrol work, other heavy outdoor efforts. There are times I would like a shorter cuff but this glove provides excellent coverage

These gloves are warm and comfortable; however, don't expect them to hold up to splitting a few cords of wood. Mine have not held up to the wear and tear.

Would be a great glove but the Xl doesn't fit anyone I know who has big hands. Ended up giving it to my 5'2" friend. He loves them.

Very tight fit, but a very sturdy waterproof glove, they’re stretching a little, but they’d be a lot better if it was easier to get them on and off
