I've got about 20 days total on a pair of these gloves (ski patrol, resort skiing
& general winter use). I'm hard on my kit and have been really impressed with these gloves.
I picked them up over the Summer while on sale and think at that price.....they can't be beat. I've worn them down to about 20 degrees (F) without liners and am very happy with the dexterity/ warmth combo. Below that temp or in gnarly wet/ mixed precip, I switch to a heavier duty/ waterproof glove. I've picked up a few cuts on the palm and think that maybe a double palm would improve the durability. Otherwise, the seams & stitching are all holding up well. The only thing Ive done is bake them with Sno-seal a few times....
I'd love to see a similar model but maybe a little heavier duty with maybe a nose wipe on the thumb, reinforced palm and a heavier fleece lining.....

I love my Aksel Work Gloves. I live in one of the coldest environments in the lower 48 and work outside on a ranch. I also am very physically active in the outdoors in the winter. From skiing to snowmobiling to fixing fence. Love these leather gloves!

Amazing gloves, to keep in a vehicle. I live in Alaska and regardless how cold, once you out your hands in them, they warm up.

I am on the volunteer ski patrol and although I haven't used these on a super wet day, they have been awesome so far. Durable, comfortable, warm. They also have good dexterity. I used sno seal to waterproof them.

I've been using these primarily for split-boarding, but also for shoveling snow, biking in the cold, etc. They are awesome all around gloves and pliable enough to use with poles, put skins on, and get into my pack. Warm enough for the down, but not too warm to use on the uptrack. It's weird how much I love the perfectly placed pull tab inside the cuff to quickly put the gloves on. I actually ordered large originally as size chart said that was the right size for me. They were too tight, so ended up gifting those to a friend and getting the XL which fit much better. I also Sno-Seal baked them to make waterproof for splitboarding, the leather seemed to take the Sno Seal great. Only 5-10 uses so far but excited to see how they hold up the rest of the season. Nice work on these!

I use these gloves for welding. 100% cow belly leather. I kept burning myself with regular welding gloves. These gloves are thick and stand up to what I am doing. I have not burned my hands since. They heat up and warn me with enough time to take the gloves off before they burn me. The only way they could be better is if the inside was 100% wool.

These gloves are some of the most versatile and durable gloves I have ever owned! From skiing in the alpine to piling wood with ease. mine are almost done after about two full seasons of heavy use. However, its nice to know I wont have to make any decisions on what gloves to buy as long as OR keeps selling these gloves.
And they even have a three finger style now!

These gloves do what they claim. I don't ski much, but with a little sno-seal or other waterproofer, I think they would be ideal for most eastern and/or resort skiing. I bought mainly for just working around the house, and in the woods, and for that I think they are great. Super comfortable, great wool felt liner, very supple leather, and a great fit for me.
I probably wouldn't choose this for a real heavy duty work glove, like logging, splitting 10 cords of hardwood, etc. Maybe they would be ok, but I'd probably choose a glove with thicker leather. If I was heading into the backcountry, I would choose a much more water-proof, lighter weight, and warmer glove.
If you're looking for a nice warm work glove that looks good enough and is soft enough for casual wear and general outdoor pursuits, then I'd say this is a go. For those of us in northern climates, I think this could make a good glove for *reasonable* hobby/small farm work. Again I wouldn't wanna use this to load 500 hay bales onto a trailer, but for tending animals, fixing gates and fences, and general chores; I think this is the ticket.

I use these for my daily 8 mile bike commute in Minnesota, temperatures drop regularly to around -30. The wind is usually always the worst part and these gloves are absolutely killer when it comes to wind. Super durable as well. The lining inside is soft and definitely warm enough. It's fine for me, but the cuff does come a bit tighter than you'd expect. I have pretty small hands and sized up in case I needed liners, but the cuff is still nice and snug. I measured my hands and was between sizes, so if you are as well, I'd definitely go up. They've been more than decent with water as well, the leather can handle a great deal of water, the caveat being that they'll take a good minute to dry!

One of the simplest yet most functional working gloves out there for working outside in 3+ season conditions. As a former ski patroller, I wish they made these at the time.

Really like these gloves. I have used them skiing, coaching, working and just driving or running errands. Fit well, warm, comfortable and good looking. Not as durable as my summer construction gloves so I am conscious of using these gloves for working with sharp tools and ragged surfaces, but perfect for a more reliable ski glove.

I have primarily used these gloves while doing structural inspections in the 20 degree weather. While I havent had them long enough to comment on durability, I am impressed with the build quality compared to other work gloves I have. Warm enough to keep my hands warm without significant physical activity, but enough dexterity for taking notes and working various inspection tools. Also come on and off easily with damp hands, which is important to me in a cold weather work glove.

Got mine last year. Came in handy working at my son's Boy Scout troop's Christmas tree lot. Nice and warm and tough ... although not waterproof, unfortunately.
