Holds up well to cold Michigan weather. I love it!!

My boyfriend got me this coat as a late Christmas present and I couldn't be any happier. The first day I got it I only wore a short sleeve shirt under it and stepped out real quick and I was actually sweating. It kept me very warm. My boyfriend is now going to get himself one since he saw how happy I am with mine.

I love this jacket because it's classy, casual and so warm! The only downside isn't that when I walk it kind of bunches up - I got a small to be comfortable but I might have needed an XS. So that may be why. It's just a little uncomfortable when I walk - I don't like a tight fit and I'm generally happy with the purchase.

This was a gift for my daughter who was having a very difficult time finding a winter coat that fit her figure and arm length. The XS is absolutely perfect! The look on her face when she put it on and realized that it fit everywhere, was priceless. Thank you North Face for making a quality item. She will have it for years to come. It's worth every penny!! The picture doesn't do the coat justice.

This parka is SO stylish !! I actually have a figure in a parka :-) I bought this because of wind and waterproof and style. The windproof really excels when crossing streets in Manhattan when the skyscrapers make a wind tunnel. I DID NOT feel the wind in blustery cold Manhattan. I would LOVE to have this around six inches longer!!

I used the size chart and bought a size S. I'm 5'4" and 124 lbs. I didn't want too much extra room. I like the cinched waist line.

I seriously wish the it was colder outside so that I could wear this more. I've thrown this coat on over a tank top and was very warm . I am a fan of this coat, it's so comfortable that it makes me think feel like I'm wearing my comforter on a cold winter day.

I'm very happy with this coat. I'm 5'1", 108 lbs, evenly proportioned. Although I usually wear XS, I needed the S in this coat. The collar is unusually tall and stiff. In the XS, it poked uncomfortably into my cheekbones. In the S, the collar and waist are just a bit lower, which improves the fit considerably. The S also allows more ease of movement and a better length (just above my knees.) The sleeves are a little long on me but it's not a problem. The windproof, waterproof shell makes it a little heavier and stiffer/bulkier than some down coats, but it also provides noticeably more warmth and protection. The raglan sleeves, zippered pockets, sleeve liners, and adjustable hood work well. I've recently moved to Boston and will be walking outside through the winter. I wanted something to block wind and precipitation while keeping me warm. I also wanted a coat long enough to cover my seat and thighs without hindering freedom to walk and sit. I think this coat is it!

This jacket is so warm! It is heavy but very comfortable. Feels warmer than my down that I have owned for several years. Love that it is not restricting. Fur on the collar is very stylish!

I use my coat to commute to work and it keeps me so warm and comfortable during New York winters. It shields so well on windy days and when I get wet in the rain, it dries off quickly. I like the new zippers, they don't get stuck as much as the old one used to in the fabric of the coat. This is my second northface parka and I love it!

I use my coat daily, I wear a small, but ordered a medium to fit me comfortable which it does, and just in case I want to add layers.

I really like this coat. It is very warm and has a flattering fit. I generally wear a medium in mostly all clothing, but for Northface coats, I wear a small and always fits great!

I bought this jacket for my wife, who is always cold, yet struggles to find something warm enough that is also stylish (fashion is everything for her.) She LOVES it. We plan on doing some camping this winter, and now she's actually looking forward to it, without worrying about being cold.
