Great looking coat but the fit is off. Arms very tight.

I was able to zip the jacket but it was very tight around the hips, my hips are wide. The jacket was also not as vibrant or sleek as pictured on the website, it seemed duller in person. I sent the jacket back.

I had an old whrlibird where the stitching was coming undone on the jacket so I needed a new one. But seen this one and wanted it because it was a cuter jacket then the whrlibird in the same color. I ended up buying this in two separate sizes, because the pockets were too low on the inner jacket, and unfortunately it didn't get better with a smaller size. Pockets needed to be a few inches higher on the inner jacket to comfortably rest hands in. I seems like they took the inner jacket from the whrlibird and extended the jacket from the middle instead of the bottom. (Whrlibird is 3 inches shorter then this one). I ended up returning both of the Carson pass ones(I really didn't want too because I love the features) and had the settle for the less pretty sister jacket whrlibird, plus side whrlibird has pockets galore!

This coat is really cute and I wish it worked for me, but the sleeves and shoulder area are bulky, a little too wide, and sleeves are too long. Everywhere else fits perfectly so I don't think sizing down will be better. Sending back.

Jacket runs big and long. It looked like I was wearing a bag. I'm 112/113 lbs 5'4 and ordered a small

I am an athletic woman. Almost 5'8", 137lbs, and long limbs. I'm a small in just about all coats so I ordered a small. Each piece independently fits fine ( although the outer shell is very loose on its own) but the thumb holes are too short and it pulls too tight and the pieces together are too tight in the elbow area , making it very uncomfortable. The material is really nice as is the color but the fit is not so great for me. I will be returning it.

I love this coat, but I gave it a 3 star rating because of the zipper! It has a zipper that was made for a fleece jacket, thin zipper, I can see it will break like a thin zipper usually does. Everything else is great! Color is a bright red! The other zippers seems to be a heavier size, not sure why the main zipper isn't.

The shoulders are very big and awkward. I loved the idea of being able to layer of it and have two jackets in one though.

I don't know why Anyone would put one pocket on top of another and that's it. I would like this coat if it had more pockets and in appropriate places. If I put something in the zip pocket and something in the pocket below, they are essentially in the exact same place on the body, which makes it difficult to even zip the coat for the bulk. It makes no sense not to have side pockets and instead put two on top of one another in the front. They missed the mark on this one. If not for that, I would probably like the coat.

The coat is lovely but unfortunately the fit is much smaller than expected. I own nearly a dozen Columbia jackets (including one Interchange) and fleece all of which are a size Small which is a very comfortable fit, however, this coat is almost too small. If I were to order again, I would get a Medium.

I loved this jacket, except why isn't anyone else mentioning how weird the fur liner on the hood is? It doesn't lay flat at all no matter what. For me it was either get poked in the face, or leave the liner off completely ( which for me made the hood coverage too sparse). I returned it cuz a hood is a big deal to me, but the rest of the coat was great.

Jacket is definitely cute. However, not as warm as I wanted. Size up ladies because you will most def have to layer up.

I live in Minnesota, and was hoping this would keep me warm outside this winter, since socializing is different this year with Covid. I think a cold rating would be helpful, because this is clearly not meant to be a deep winter jacket. I wore it last night for a patio hang with my nephews, and I was shivering all night. It was 46 degrees F. Definitely not going to work for a Minnesota winter, and I'm hoping I can still exchange it. That said, it's really nice. Tons of pockets, well made, very attractive and stylish. I would order a size up if you like to wear a lot of layers, and if you live somewhere cold, you will need layers.

I purchased this coat to replace the Columbia coat that I've had for over 20 years and finally just wore out. I'm 5'06" tall, 120 pounds, and I first tried the small. I had a hoodie on underneath and the coat was too tight in the armpits. I exchanged for a medium. While the medium feels better for having layers underneath, it's still more snug under the armpits than I would prefer. I also wish the jacket was a little warmer. I wanted this coat for the "warmer" winter days (20s - 30s). But I got a screaming deal so I'm keeping the coat. On the upside I really like the material and I love all of the pockets.

I had to return this coat. As other reviews have said, it runs small. It just fit & that was without a bulky sweater. I wear small to medium. The medium was too small & the large is too big. Too bad as it's a very nice jacket.

I liked the jacket but did end up returning it. I had to size up for the fit but then it felt a little bulky. When I took out the inner layer, and just wore the outer layer, it looked too big to wear on its own.

I usually am a large in jackets, but this one was too big for me in a large. Overall, the jacket quality was good and the insulation is nice.

I spent two months researching for a coat and settled on the Carson Pass Interchangeable coat b/c it seemed warm and was stylish. All those things are true. I'd give this coat a higher ranking if it hadn't arrived at my doorstep smelling like cigarette smoke. I'm not a smoker and I hate the smell of it. My dad died of emphysema after years of smoking. Despite spraying Febreeze on it, the coat still stinks.

This is an attractive coat and seems to be well-made. However, my wife says it is not very warm in the shoulders especially. We are returning.

This seems like it would be a great coat, but I was absolutely swimming in an XS. I've tried on probably 5 different winter coats as well as a hoodie from Columbia this year and every single one has been way too big on me all over but especially huge in the chest and arms (5'2" around 120 lbs for reference). I can tell cold air would get up the coat and it wouldn't keep me warm. I trust Columbia for quality and really wanted this coat to work out, but I'll have to return it and look elsewhere since sizing for petite women is clearly an issue.

Good Jacket, just not as good as I thought it would be. I had to layer up a lot to stay warm.
