It's a really nice jacket. I can't speak to how well it performs just yet as we haven't had any really cold weather yet. My only criticism so far is that one of the buttons that attaches the fur trim to the hood had already fallen off when I received the coat and I had to sew it on myself. It's a small thing, but such a fundamental and easy thing to get right. I would have expected better quality control from Columbia. It's a streamlined fit, which I understood and like, but a little tighter than I would like across the back.

I have been on the hunt for a great 3-in-1 jacket. This is definitely good looking. However, it felt lightweight compared to others. It didn't have the warmth factor I was looking for. But the style was great. Especially the hood! I ordered a medium based on other reviews. And it was too big for me. I would've had to stick with my normal size Small. I'm 5'2", 130lbs and have a 34B chest. The medium was much too large on me.

Nice features, well made. However I wish they had petite size, sleeves are too long

Brought this for trip to Iceland this winter and am really pleased with the look and quality of the coat. I'm sure it will keep me nice and warm this winter

This is an excellent jacket, fits wonderful, materials are great with the exception of the hand cuffs which is very thin, I fear that on time it will break, It would be great if it had an inner deep pocket, that's why I give it a 4

Great quality jacket and really ingenuous and well-executed design features of the 2 layers/jackets! The inner jacket is super easy to detach and re-attach, and I've been enjoying the inner jacket as a spring jacket right now on its own. I ordered a small and it fits great, form-fitting enough but loose enough to layer up underneath (I'm 5'6" and 130). My only complaint with this jacket is the main jacket zipper is finicky and difficult to get started and to unzip. I just wish the main zipper worked as smoothly as the zippers on every other feature of this jacket (they're visibly a different zipper material/type than the main one). If not for this, then would be 5 stars for sure!

Cozy, warm and a beautiful design. However, I returned it due to difficulty attaching or detaching the hood, which is buttoned on. (I am a 71-year-old woman with arthritic issues in my hands.) Also, I was not comfortable with the pockets being placed toward the front, instead of at the sides. The positioning of my pocketed hands was awkward.

Nice jacket. Not crazy about the thumb holes in the lining but I just dont use them. Slightly snug for size but I love the look. Have gotten compliments on the jacket especially the color. Find it to be warm enough as well

My daughter picked this out for herself. It is great around the yard, playing with the dog, and in town. Warm and waterproof. She likes the various pockets and the thumbholes. It has a bit longer length than she had hoped, but it looks nice, and the drawstring gives it a slim profile.

Love the coat overall but wish there was an option to choose a different faux fur color than the grey that comes with this coat. It is a cool grey with a warm blue color coat. That makes no sense. Warm colors go with other warm colors not cool ones. If the fur had been a warm brown or even a cream color or tan I may have kept this coat. The fur clashes with the coat color. Otherwise I loved it.

This jacket is very pretty. The fabric has a texture look that i love. I got the navy and its a good neutral. Love the little touches with the leather-like zipper pulls. Really my only complaint is the i wish the inside shell had a 2 way zipper like the outside jacket. Would make sitting easier on the tush. The inside shell is a bit snug in the hips. I wear a 8 or 10 normally and a medium fit except no extra room in the booty. Please would somebody make a jacket that has an hourglass shape.

I LOVE the jacket. The color is beautiful and so is the liner. Its not quite as warm as I thought it would be but still perfect for a snowy cold day of activities. My only "complaint" is the zippers. Both the zipper for the outter shell and the zipper for the liner get stuck frequently and don't operate very smoothly. I've had many columbia jackets over the years and have never experienced this issue so I'm hopping its just a fluke.

This coat runs very large. I'll have to down to sizes.

This jacket has a lot of potential. Additions that would make it a better jacket are: hand warmer pocket jacket on shell that is horizontal - vertical pocket is hard to get into and zipper is scratchy, another snap on cuff for adjustment (sleeves hang down over my hands) Add security pocket to liner

The code is good. It is lightweight and warm enough for the intended purpose. I've enjoyed wearing it this winter.

This coat is beautiful. I agree with others who state that the inner layer is smaller in size compared to the outer portion. I love the thumb sleeves. I ordered this in the very pretty burgundy/wine color which I also love. Very durable outer fabric, however,a couple of times, the zipper came undone while sitting in my vehicle which surprised me because it's a double zipper. Overall, I love this coat. The hood fits perfectly and is adjustable and also soft and warm, but disappointed thinking it would be just as warm as my Columbia parka and only shorter in length....it's just not as warm though. Deep pockets.

I bought but regretfully returned this well made warm coat. The fit was too wide in the shoulders for me. Also, the fabric was not quite what I was looking for as I would use the coat as a barn coat requiring more water repellency. The color is rather a light brick than the dark red beet color I had expected, but certainly not a deal breaker.

I really love the style of this coat. However, it is not warm enough for really cold days. I wore it on a cold morning in 40 degree weather and was shivering the entire time. I think it could work with a layer underneath but then the coat gets way too tight. I think it is supposed to be form fitting to keep you warm, but since you have to layer up then you also need to size up. Finally, I don't like that the pockets with the zipper are the ones that have the fleece. I was trying to put my hands into them to warm them up and the zipper was scratching my hands. Bummer. This is a really really cute coat, I just wish it had more functionality.

The fit was good except for being too tight in the shoulder area. The hood was also big but I probably would have kept the coat, since it was on sale, except for the narrowness in the upper back.

I am about 5' and approximately 125. I ordered a small in the black and a medium in the tan/brown. I really loved the jacket, but it didn't work for me. The small was snug and uncomfortable and the medium sleeves were too long and too large across the shoulders. I generally wear petites and if it came in a medium petite I think it would work for me. I also think the outside jacket needs slit angled pockets.

I was looking for the absolute warmest coat I could find that also wouldn't cost me the price of a home in a warmer place, and I took a jump on this jacket. I love it, it definitely does the job, but isn't quite the "absolute warmest" jacket. I live in the northeast US and we have some very, very cold, windy winters. This is only a little warmer than an average wool jacket would have been. I intentionally purchased a slightly snug jacket, because too loose and they don't keep you warm. However, the hips are a little too snug to be able to layer much else, so that may be a contributing factor as I am used to sweaters and fleece under my coats. It is very helpful that you can unzip it some from the bottom for sitting, which makes my car rides more comfortable and my concern a little smaller for a plastic zipper that probably shouldn't be utilized on a quality coat. My only complaint is that the measurements for the item don't indicate that the inside layer is several inches smaller than the outer shell. Since I purchased mine a little snug, I actually can't wear the inside layer alone because it barely zips. After seeing it, it makes sense, but that should be noted in the item description so folks can size appropriately.

If the hood a little bit bigger will be perfect.

This is good jacket. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is simply because the zipper sometimes stuck. It's warm and very comfortable, fits as expected.
