I recently purchased this jacket in store. I'm so glad I tried it on before buying because it does run large. I have 3 other Columbia jackets in small but I got an XS this time. It has room for an thick sweatshirt underneath. I was starting to sweat in the store and I only had the coat on for 5 mins so I have no doubt that it will be perfect for MN winters.

My stepdaughter was very happy with the jacket she lives in New York and says it is perfect for snow and rain! Good Job Columbia

This is the best winter coat - is a great length without being too long but still covers your bum! Is very warm with the lining, fur hood and thumb hole. The ability to cinch the waist in is nice to give the coat a good shape but allow for putting more layers under if needed. It's a beautiful deep red - the exact color I was looking for with almost a heather finish that is not full of static and doesn't get covered in dog hair! Overall I couldn't do anything else to make this the perfect coat!!

I am so happy I purchased this warm & not bulky jacket. One of my favorite features is the fact it has built in way to keep your hands warm by allowing the jacket to cover your hands with the thumb cut out & not allowing the wind & cold to go up the sleeves. The pockets are warm & soft., plenty of room to carry your phone & keys. I love that the jacket is multifunctional. I wear multi layers as well with a Columbia vest to wear when indoors. I will be w around this jacket for a long time!

Very warm coat for DC winter and very happy with quality of the the coat layers. The waterproof layer is slightly bigger than my normal S size though. Exchanged to XS and it fitted perfectly

I love this coat! I haven't taken it the inner lining yet because it had been cold here! But this keeps me nice and warm and I love all the pockets and being able to unzip the bottom to sit easily. This definitely beats the thinner Columbia cost I was looking at from Kohl's!

I am very happy with this product! For winters in DC, it is the perfect winter coat. It is warm without being too bulky, and has attractive finishes such as the removable fur hood and deep, subtle pockets. I am 5'9" and a small is the right length for me (sleeves included).

Love this coat. I have two other Columbia costs I have purchased over the years with the "3" system. These coats last forever. I love how it keeps me warm, including my neck, without being bulky.

My husband bought me this jacket for my birthday. I am 5"6 and 125lbs, he ordered it for me in a Medium. Size wise I could have worn a small (and own other Comumbia jackets in a small) but, I prefer to buy snow jackets a size up because I like having extra room to wear a large sweater and scarf underneath with out feeling claustrophobic. Being from Southern California I get cold very easily. I reciently wore this jacket to Yosemite National Park and it kept me very warm and cozy in 20 degree snowy weather. This jacket is very classy and I would wear it in rain, snow or shine. I love that it is interchangeable because you can wear it three diffeent ways. I also loved that the length of this jacket. It falls alittle below the waist so its aplropiate to wear with leggings without too feeling exposed. Definently happy about my first Columbia snow jacket. I would highly recommend this product! Roomy enough for a sweater underneath. I know this jacket will keep me warm during the cold winter months in Minnesota.

Very pleased with this purchase! Coat is extremely warm and comfortable, and I have already gotten plenty of used out of it in the 2 weeks I've had it. Looking forward to winter time with it. Highly recommended!

I needed a new winter coat that would withstand the brutal Wisconsin winters, and if you're looking for something fashionable and incredible warm buy this coat. I bought up a size to accommodate for extra layers and the coat fits perfectly for this purpose. It's incredibly warm and looks good with everything (I bought the black coat, it's almost a heather black and is perfect).

I am quite pleased with my purchase. I love the fact that it I can take the inner jacket out and use that as a coat when it is not so cold, but I still have a heavy duty coat when I need it. I am going to Scotland for New Years and I expect that this coat will do me well. Thanks Columbia!

Love this jacket! Very cute & warm

An excellent coat. I love the color and the style. The hood is super warm. The only thing I don't love is the pocket design. They are a little bit awkward but it will just take getting used to I imagine.

This jacket is super warm. I have gotten a lot of compliments. I am wearing it in 6 weather and I have a shirt and sweater under and I am feeling super warm. As a dogwalker who is outside all day, I am thankful!

I need a coat that will bear Minnesota/windy midwestern winters and this coat is warm, but not warm enough. it is very lightweight and thin, and does not have very much down filling/puffy insulation. This coat did not fit MY needs, but it is a great-quality coat, attractive and versatile. I was sad to return it! I ended up getting a different coat with the 550 TurboDown and it has served me well!

I live in Texas where I only needed a light jacket to block wind and keep me warm during the sparse cold days here but I also travel to Germany every winter where the winters are bitter, snowy, and freezing. This jacket was great for both! The inner jacket zips out and is perfect for Texas winters, then I can zip it back in to the outer shell and am perfectly warm in Germany as well. Great jacket for warmth and is also very cute! Definitely recommend.

I have been using this jacket for a little over a week now and I love it. The fit is great, roomy enough to wear thick sweaters comfortably and still be able to move. The length goes down to my thighs, which is great in cold weather. Both the inner puffer jacket and shell are attractive when worn separately and together. The pockets are huge and hold a lot without looking stuffed. The shell wicks rain and snow beautifully. The hood adjusts perfectly. I permanently removed the fur, but that's only because I don't like fake fur. The fur looks nice for fake fur. Overall, love it!

My wife absolutely loves this jacket. She wanted a longer jacket that covered the upper part of her legs in the cold and frigid temperatures of northern Minnesota. This is just the gift she was looking for as it keeps her warm in subzero temperatures.

This is by far one of the best coats I've owned. The low has only been 20 degrees with a brisk wind and I didn't feel the cold at all. Anxious for something a bit colder to put it to the test! Excellent at blocking the wind. It is roomy enough for layering underneath. I am a bit on the curvy side and enjoyed the added bonus that it had a slimming effect on me!

I am very pleased with this jacket. It was hard to find a colorful jacket in this length, with a chest pocket, and adequate insulation. So far, the jacket has kept me warm, and I love the color. Fortunately, I was able to remove the fur around the hood. I will definitely look at Columbia first the next time I need a jacket.
