This is a great winter parka. It is super warm and comfortable. I love all the pockets and the hood and lined collar add extra warmth on extra windy days.

I am in love with this jacket! I am always cold and needed a jacket for my everyday errands etc during winter in New England. The hood is a little large for my head but that is my only complaint. Otherwise it is super comfy and warm!

Bought this for cold Chicago winters. So far, it has kept me extremely warm. Looks great, has a lot of functional pockets. Great deal!

I have been looking for a serious winter coat for cold mornings and an upcoming trip to Iceland. I am 5'10" 135 lbs and ordered a small and it's perfect. I can wear layers underneath comfortably and I don't even need a scarf with the warmth and height of the coat's neck. The hood is large and pulls over my head even when my hair is in a bun (girl problems, I know). The bottom pockets aren't warm, but that is fine for storing small items. The pockets across the stomach are lined and warm for your hands. The length is great, even with my height, and the I love that the back is longer so I can sit on cold ground and still stay dry and warm. It is waterproof and have even worn the coat on rainy not-very-cold mornings just to stay dry. I'm glad I found this coat!

Perfect for winter. I couldn't be happier about buying this jacket. I know that even in the coldest days, I will go outside and not be frozen. Excellent protection, lots of pockets, and keeps you warm.

Didn't really need another jacket but have been wanting this jacket for a while and when I saw it on sale I decided to get one. The reviews are right when they say its a really well fitted jacket, isn't too bulky, and is warm! Will be wearing this often in the cold CO mornings.

I love this jacket. I do feel it's a little large. I purchased a L and I am a typical L size in things (not tight) 5'8" 155lbs. I could of probably gone with a medium. It's very warm and not bulky. I love the fleece on the inside zipper by my face. The hood actually stays on your head and protects me from the wind. I've been out in 18-20 weather with just a long sleeve underneath and been comfortable walking to and from my jobs parking. I like that it covers to my thigh, keeps me warm. Overall a great jacket and for the price you can't do better. I do wish the "belt" could be tightened a little more to give it a more defined look, but if I had sized down it would of probably been a better fit.

I needed a coat warm enough for Iowa winters for my recess duty at school! This coat is perfect, its very warm and blocks out the wind. The length is a bit longer and just right! I love the color too!

I wore it when I went to Russia in mid-JAN. Although the weather is not that cold as expected (2C ~ -7C), the jacket still performed well with a worthy price. Highly recommended!!!

I bought this for my girlfriend, but being the nerd I am about jacket performance ( I own the mens 780 Parka) I tested it outside myself. I was out in 30 degree weather where the windchill brought it down to the low 20's. This jacket kept me completely warm without any issues, the only thing holding it back was it is shaped for a girl obviously so I didn't have hips to fill it out haha (cold air got through the bottom slightly). I imagine this jacket could go to way colder temperatures and be absolutely fine. The one this that is weird is the hood, it works fine, but it's confusing why they chose a button design for the fur lining instead of the standard zipper. This leaves gaps for air to get through it if you're at the right angle. Not remotely a deal breaker because it still keeps the ears toasty. All and all, I'm very impressed. One thing to point out is my girlfriend wears large in everything and we had to size up to a XL for her to layer with stuff. Overall buy without worry.

At first I wasn't sure that I would keep this jacket as it's a bit bulky and heavy. But, let me tell you, no other jacket keeps me as warm. The length is just perfect and I love the pockets right at the waist. They are at just the right height for me to slip my hands in to keep warm while out walking my dog. Love this coat and so glad I made the decision to keep it with some cold, snowy days in the forecast.

I am 5'6 190 pounds. The jacket is a bit tight with a sweater on underneath but I love it. Classy and warm

I got this to replace a 4 year old north face down coat. I love my NF but it wasn't enough when it was raining, snowing, or cold with a lot of wind. This jacket is heavier, but it is fantastic and keeps me warm walking the dog when it's freezing and windy. I no longer need a scarf because the fleece lined neck is warm enough. I love the hood too. It's also cute. I normally wear a medium in tops, but I sized up because I don't like my coats tight and I think that was a good move on my part (for reference - I'm over 50, 5'5" and about 155lbs, size 8-10).

I am from Florida and not accustomed to the cold. Read the reviews and decided on this one. This is a great jacket, looks chic and is very effective. I was snowballing with friends for 15 minutes a d ended up breaking a sweat. The Omni Technology lining is awesome at keeping me warm

This jacket is very warm. The fleece lined collar really keeps the cold air out. I am 5'7" and 135 lbs. and I ordered a size large. I have room for a sweater under it and am so happy that the sleeves are long enough for me. I like the ability to tighten it around the waist and bottom which really keeps out the cold wind. I am happy with this jacket.

This coat is really warm and flattering, i love that it has an inside pocket and 4 more pockets in the front so there is lots of room for all my stuff. The hood is also great because even with the fur it does not block your view, and you can adjust it so it stays on.

I ordered it in flint grey and was hesitant as it looks pretty light but WOW I love it! This jacket is waterproof so even when I got coffee spilt on it I can just wipe it. It also is so warm that I wear it every snow day! For size reference, I think the sizing is pretty true to size, I am 5'4" 135lbs and I ordered in M which is pretty big to me, roomy enough to wear more inside, I might want to try an S on but I am still happy with my M sized one!

I bought this coat in a size large and in black. I am 5'7" and 150lbs and this coat fits great. I love that you can tighten the belt a little for a more flattering look. The coat is very warm for our MN winters without being too bulky or heavy. I love the cuffs on the wrists. Not too tight but keep the cold out. I also spend many hours at the hockey rink and the longer back is great for the cold bleachers. I've used this outside for playing with my kids and I'm able to do all the activities with them and able to move freely. Love this coat!!

I got the Icelandite TurboDown jacket in size XS in Flint Gray. It looks even better in person than in the photos on the site. I usually buy everything in black but decided to take a chance on this and try something different. And I'm very happy that I did. The color is very nice. Not too light but also not drab at all. And it's extremely warm and comfortable. I was worried that it would be too long, especially in the back and the sleeves since I usually wear Petite sizes. But it's really just right. I can also wear a sweater under it but I doubt I'd need anything too heavy since the jacket is so warm. I am 5'2" and about 112 lbs. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Was looking for something that will keep me warm for the cold winters in Chicago. Definitely warm and true to size. The jacket is a bit puffy but was expected.

Bought gray in XL although I could have gotten L as well. XL is not huge but allows for extra layer without feeling tight. I bought this jackets specifically for its features--pockets and slenderizing/custom options for more personal fit that are getting harder to find. Kudos to Columbia for making at least few winter coats with these options, still. Coat is warm and well made. Multiple pockets are great, and must when I need to carry phone, wallet gloves etc. I like to be able to walk around without purse from time to time. Sleeves are tad longer then anticipated--I am not short person at 5'7 but that is fine when weather is cold. All in all I am pleased with my purchase. Gray color wasn't my first choice but it is fresh looking and I am happy in the end.

This is the perfect everyday Winter coat. I am a teacher who keeps very warm during cold recess times with this coat!
