I liked the weight and features of this jacket but it was too big in the shoulders and the size down was too tight on hips.
Overall I think Columbia runs small and doesn't give thought to women's curves.

This jacket is super lightweight and warm but if you want extra room for a sweater or sweatshirt, be sure to size up. The arena are so tight it's almost impossible to maneuver. I'm typically a 1X on the cusp of 2X and went with the 2X thinking I would have plenty of room. Boy was I wrong. I unfortunately took the tags off and used the jacket as I absolutely needed it the day it arrived. Honestly just so disappointed.

The coat is long in length but it seems like the arms are cut short. I also don't like how wide the bottom of the coat is. Wish it was a little more snug so you wont feel the wind blow up your coat.

Overall I am a fan of this coat. I wish the arms were a little more roomy or had more give. I did think it would be a little bit warmer, but again overall I like it. The color is nice and neutral but got me out of the "all coats must be black" loop.

The website recommended sizing up but that was definitely not needed. The size I ordered was big enough that I could wrap the coat around myself with about five inches of extra fabric on each side. I probably could've gone down two sizes but I was worried it would be too snug once I layer. The quality seemed good, but I'm still waiting for my exchange to be delivered.

Great fit and design, warm and comfy. Zipper is WAY TOO HARD TO OPERATE!

The women's Heavenly Long HDD Jacket is not very warm for North Dakota winter weather when the wind chill is 30-50 below. (It also is very difficult to star zipping the "lead" goes into the zipper pull completely, but will not start. i have to remove and restart the zipper 2-3 times before it will "pull" the zipper so it is properly closed.

Decent warmth for in between seasons, fall to winter, in new England. Thumbs hole is a plus. Hood fits over fitted beanie.

I bought this and it did not fit. I received it over 7 weeks after I ordered it. Then I was concerned, because i could not mail it in and exchange it for the right size. I had to return it and buy it at the cost now. I find this customer unfriendly and wonder why in this day and age you have such an archaic policy?

Annoying zippers, don't always work well each time I meed to zip up. Wishing they would get better quality ones. Still kind of pricey, it's definitely not the warmest, but it serves its purpose.

I really liked how light weight it was, and the way it was made, I bought it for my trip to Alaska, but per the description, I was still cold, even with layers, with the thermal reflective technology..It is not made for sub zero weathers....

There are a few pluses to this coat and a few minuses:
Plus #1: Very light weight (no bulk)
Plus #2: Very warm coat, deceiving with its light weight
Minus #1: Runs a little too big (when in plus sizes).
Minus #2: Zipper is terrible!!! I have been stuck in the coat numerous times now, the zippers line up great for zipping up however it will not unzip with ease. I have attempted to "zip" it multiple times to break it in and use a dryer sheet to help "glide" it but nothing has worked yet. If I can get thw zipper to ease up it will be a great coat.

I bought this coat in Olive Green. It is NOT green it is definitely brown and in the light has a hint of olive. When I questioned the color they told me they changed their green to a brown. That's fine to do that but then call it what the true color is...brown! The coat is nice and warm and a good length.

This jacket is surprisingly warm without adding a lot of bulk. It's also got a nice with with an actual taper to the waist. I found out the hard. way that it is it not water resistant. Yes, the innermost later is actually waterproof so you don't actually get wet, but the outer layer absorbs water like a sponge, which then dampens the insulation, making the jacket a heavy cold layer against the silver inner layer, and then you aren't warm anymore. This wasn't soaking rain, just a few runs back and forth to the car in light snow that's was getting a bit slushy. So great jacket as long as the weather is dry.

I ordered this as Christmas gift in Nocturnal size M for my daughter. She loves it, and looks great in it. When it arrived I first thought it might be too light weight and thin, but the reflective lining seems to make up for lack of thickness. The shape is feminine and the seaming attractive, not boxy. I tried to order for myself, but it was out of stock until after the holidays. After checking nearly every day, it came back in stock so I ordered immediately. Have had it for a day, but agree with others it is probably not good at -0 temps without layering underneath. Perfect for me because I was looking for a carcoat that wasn't bulky, that I could wear inside shopping without perspiring. Disappointed in quality of zipper-very flimsy and hard to get started at bottom. I have been stepping into the zipped coat to get it on, so considering exchanging it. But no promise that a replacement would be any better. Zipper should match quality of coat and work smoothly. This does not.

This is a nice jacket not a coat. (Some descriptions say coat some say jacket) I live in Chicago and I take public transportation so I was looking for a nice coat that would keep me warm during the winter. I saw this on the website and immediately had to have it! I read some of the reviews to see how the coat worked out for them and one person stated she lived in Chicago and took public transportation just like me and it kept her very warm. I was sold after that review I was definitely gonna buy it now. Don't get me wrong I love it but it's not gonna keep me warm through Chicago's winter. I'll use it for the fall instead

I had been looking for a long coat to keep me warm in Minnesota winters. The lightweight of this one, along with the length, drew me in. It was fine for a day, but as soon as it got windy, the wind blew right up the bottom of the coat. I returned it.

Returned the jacket. The arms were very narrow for a plus size coat and I don't have huge arms . Couldn't wear a hoodie or sweater under the coat without feeling confined .

Bought jacket for my trip to NYC since it was longer, lightweight and warm. Worked perfectly, even got too warm on occasion. Fast forward a month...brought jacket to Alaska and that is where my love for the jacket started to fade. I know that the jacket is advertised as water resistant but I have to say I didn't find that it resisted any moisture....at all. Which makes for a very long day when you are standing outside watching the ceremonial start of the Iditarod. By the time we got back to the hotel I was soaked...not only my jacket was saturated but my shirt underneath was wet...and cold. Luckily my fleece lined pants (from a other outdoor company) were water proof and warm so at least part of me was dry.

Nice jacket but had to return it because it ran small in the arms and back area. For being a plus size jacket it was disappointing.

I loved this coat until I put it on. I followed the directions that it runs small and ordered a larger size. However Columbia needs to revamp arm and shoulder size in the larger sized items. If you are larger everywhere else your arms an shoulder area will be too. Sending back.

The Coat is Beautiful. Coat Run big, not to big. Its not coat for Cold weather. My Coat didn't keep me warm. In NYC. I bought 2 Coat same Style coats. And Another one different Style. Not Worth the Money. Eddie Bauer Coat ate Warmer. I waste my money on Columbia coats.
