I have this exact jacket in brown. I love it so much I ordered a black one. So light weight and so warm for the cold snowy Wyoming winds. I referred a friend to get one for his wife. Pretty true to size.

I was looking for a longer coat with wasn't bulky to keep me warm this winter. This coat is perfect. It's very light weight and just the right length. It fits perfectly and I love it. Highly recommend

With the thermo silver lining, this jacket kept me super warm in the (light) rain and wind. I wore it zip lining!

Happy with my purchase. Interior of jacket is fantastic and keeps you warm. Exterior very well made and fashionable. Only negative would be the size runs a tad small. I would recommend buying one size up from your normal size. I love Columbia!

I love this coat! I feel like I can move in it with my kids, keeps me warm, not bulky (I don't mind keeping it on while driving), and I feel stylish. I sized up and am able to fit a fleece layer under it comfortably but it doesn't feel too big without it either. This is the best coat I've owned in a long time. I'm so happy I purchased it!

This is a great coat! I love how thin the material is, but it still keeps you warm. I hated the thick, puffy sleeves of winter coats, but these sleeves are so slim, I love it! It is my first coat that goes mid-thigh, so I will have to get used to the slight discomfort when sitting in the car, but I still like it. I also will have to see if it truly holds up to the Minnesota -30 temps!

Loved this jacket ! It kept me warm. I got a size bigger so I can wear layers underneath it. But overall loved it!

Love this coat! I got the purple and it is a very pretty deep color that won't show dirt easily. Very lightweight but surprisingly warm. The fit was as expected. I am 5'6" 140lbs and the Medium is fitted but very comfortable.

I've been on a hunt for a longer jacket without an adjustable waist band. I fell in love with this jacket when I tried it on in store, but they didn't have my size in the black that I wanted so I purchased it online. I love the length, the lining with the thumb hole, the Omni-Heat and how lightweight this jacket is. I normally wear a large and like jackets to be a little big on me so there's room for sweatshirts, sweaters, etc. This is a little snug on me with heavier clothing underneath but with the Omni-Heat you'll be warm even without the heavier sweaters. I've worn it everyday since I bought it, so happy with this purchase!

This coat looks awesome, however for me being 5'3" was too long in the sleeve. The hood felt very warm inside. I also liked that it unzipped at the bottom and top making it easy to sit with it on. However ,returning it because of the sleeve length.

I love how thin, yet warm, this coat is! The warm fleece on the inside of the hood is a nice way to keep your head warm too. I've already recommended this coat to my family members!

If you are a "curvy" petite, you might consider ordering up a size. (or if you are borderline between 2 sizes) After reading all the reviews for sizing, I was convinced this would fit perfectly. It is snug, and I'll only be able to wear a light weight sweater underneath. While sitting, it is unforgiving. I am 5'1 and 118# and this coat is not going to an inch. If you look carefully at the pics, It is FORM FITTING. Since I don't want to return, looks like I would rather work on losing inches just so I can be more comfortable. (yes, It's worth it). I ordered XS in Nocturnal and the color is gorgeous.

This is my second purchase of a Columbia coat/jacket. I purchased my first coat with the Omni-Heat lining two years ago and I loved that one because it was warm and stylish. I received many compliments about the coat. This year I decided to buy a new coat just like the first one I purchased only this year I discovered it came in different colors so I purchased the wine red. It is not only beautiful but Columbia has made improvements in the design. The stitching is better and the hood has a warm, soft lining. The zipper can go in two different directions which means it adds to the comfort in wearing the coat. I love this feature. I am considering buying another one in the blue color if I can get some dollars together. Love this coat. It is perfect for the winter climate in Prescott Arizona - altitude at 5,000 feet. Thank you Columbia for being so good at what you do. Also, several people have noticed the Columbia lettering on my coat and have said, "Ah - Columbia" - good brand!

I bought this jacket to wear during the winters in the Midwest and to wear for school. I love the longer length and the Omni heat lining. This jacket keeps you warm without being big and bulky which is great for running in and out of schools everyday.

I love everything about this coat. The length is perfect, the fit is super flattering, and it keeps me warm while still being lightweight with the omni heat inside. There is plenty of room to layer up underneath and I love the olive green color. Hope they keep this style around so I can get more colors in the future!

After living in Florida for 10 years, I find the Iowa winter cold almost unbearable...and it's only the end of October! My best friend suggested a Columbia Coat. I'm so glad I listened to her! My coat is so warm even though is lightweight! I'm very happy with it! Thank you so much!

Great jacket, love the style !!

At first, I wanted to shift it back because it looks very light and I worried it could not stand Michigan coldness. But after I tried it on outdoors today, I decided to keep it! It kept me very warm and I really like it now!

Like the fabric , style and length!! Seems well made and perfect. Haven't had a chance to test the warmth yet but purchased this for my daughter in NY.

This is a really nice coat, especially for someone who is allergic to real down. It fits well with enough room for a thick sweater or sweatshirt (5'3" and 150 lbs and I got a medium). I really like the thumb holes to keep the sleeves down. The hood is cozy and stays in place when it is windy. It's great in light rain, and it stops the wind. It is, however, not thick enough to be a deep winter coat. I don't think it will be warm enough for days below 30 degrees, especially when spending a lot of time outside. I was actually a little surprised by how thin it is. It's a good fall / early winter or spring coat.

Very warm, keeps me nice and cozy, the length is perfect, I'm 5'5. Slim to the fit not big and bulky.

I bought this coat in the purple and it's beautiful. It's slimming and very comfy. However, I wore it to walk my dog at 31 degrees and I was cold. It's thin, and I'll definitely have to wear layers. That being said, I have big arms and the sleeves may not accommodate thick layers. It's okay for fall/spring but I'll have to keep looking for a winter coat.

Love this coat. Light, perfect fit XS for my daughter 5' 100lbs. She is thin..can still fit a great outfit underneath. I wish I could say it was a little fitted around the waist..not. But would recommend

I have been hunting for a jacket that is down-free (thanks, allergies) but warm enough to handle a Minnesota winter. Love the Omni-heat lining, love the Olive green color. The hood lining is super soft and the cuffs are a nice touch. Excited to try it out!
