This was my favorite coat I've ever owned. It fits perfectly and is super flattering, and the olive green is a great color. It is thin but also keeps me warm. But after only 1 full winter the zipper has broken and I cannot zip my coat. Super disappointed. I would purchase another, but afraid the exact same thing would happen. Bottom line, I recommend but also do NOT recommend at the same time.

I love the cut and color of this jacket, it just wasn't warm enough for me (live in Michigan). I called and was able to return, and bought a warmer coat. Easy process.

Everything is great, except that it has a fuzzy hood that causes my hair to be static-y

Just ordered this and it looks fairly comfy and pretty, but it's too big, despite all the recommendations to size up. Also, the zipper feels like a battle each time. Not sure if mine is an anomaly or if this is common. Will try for an exchange and cross my fingers.

I'm 5'4" and this jacket looked nothing like the photo on me. Almost down to my knees. Not what I was looking for.

The fit is normal but it's a little tight in the shoulders. The pockets are very shallow. And there are a couple streams

I received this coat as a gift. The zipper is terrible. Very hard to make it work. I am not sure why they have this poor-quality zipper on such a great coat. They put on the 2-way zipper (you can zip from the bottom or the top) and I am not sure why. This just makes the zipper hard to work.

Disappointed, color is not as bright as this picture, it's more of a dull light purple. Will be returning it.

I was looking for a form fitting jacket, and I had this jacket last year but the zipper broke, and so I had to exchange it for a new one. However, I suppose that I had had an xxs last time, and only an xs this time was available. It did not fit me well, and I had to return it. I like the level of warmth this jacket gives, but I think that the pockets arent big enough and there could be an additional pocket on the breast area. I like the thumb pockets of the jacket. If it fits you well, it's a good jacket. Unless the zipper breaks, which it did for me.

It's a great jacket. Warm without being bulky. But beware of the sizing. According to the chart, my measurements put me at a medium, but it's way too snug. I still wear it, but it really is not the size I should have gotten.

The zipper gets stuck. I feel like it won't last long before it's broken. It is warm though and I like the hand cuffs.

I love the jacket, I put it on and I could feel the warmth from the silver lining. However, like others, I could NOT get the zipper to work. I sadly had to return the jacket. It would be great if that can be corrected. I would buy it then.

When the zipper broke on my beloved Mighty Lite jacket I purchased this coat as a replacement with my merchandise credit. As others said, this jacket is very similar to the Mighty Lite even with some improvements. It seemed to be better quality overall, had a nice thickness/warmth from what I could tell, and the fleece hood lining was an added bonus. I am 5'9" 140 lbs athletic build with some hips. Medium Columbia usually fits me great! This jacket was simply too wide in the stomach and hip areas for my taste. Not tailored at all like the Mighty Lite. I was able to return in store no problem. This seems like a great jacket so I would recommend if you are larger in your mid section or just like extra poof on your coats!

This jacket is perfect. Lightweight and warm. Looks very nice except after a couple times wearing it I noticed little white strands coming out of it and if you pull them it's just keeps coming. It must be an insulation layer but since I bought the black one it's very noticeable which is why I give this Jacket 3 stars.

Love the coat quality and hood. Good for cold and rain. However I had to return my other one because zipper broke. This is a replacement and zipper still is not easy to use. Seems like zipper quality is off. Have other Columbia stuff that seems to be better quality overall.

I've had this coat for nearly two years. I like it for the fall and spring, but I bought it for the winter based on ratings and reviews. It does not feel like a winter coat! I live in the mid-south, so when the temp hits the 30s/40s, that's considered winter for us. (It does drop even lower and we occasionally receive snow.) The reviews and description led me to believe this coat would be perfect for that type of weather--I'm also hot-natured--but I am always still cold when I wear it. I can feel the wind through the layers, even with a sweatshirt on underneath. If I have on a thin layer underneath and have worn the coat for 30+ minutes, then I feel like the interior thermal layers begin to heat, but only with a thin layer and extended wear. Overall, I've been disappointed by the warmth this coat provides based on my expectations reading the product description and reviews. I do like the interior pocket, the thumbholes in the sleeves, and the length. I'd recommend it as a light layer in the early spring and late fall, but not for a winter coat.

So I just purchased it was between this coat and a Lands End coat. I've had coats from both companies so I was aware of both qualities. I choose this coat as I liked the fit, sleek not bulky, I thought the omni heat lining would be warm. It is a nice looking coat but definitely NOT a warm winter coat. It's ok for in/ car, store.. but that's about it. I just finished shoveling snow with an Under Armor turtle neck, with another shirt and slough not overly cold definable not warm. Maybe a good winter coat for more southern states but definitely not Pittsburgh.

I really wanted to love this, but if you have wider shoulders this coat won't fit right. It was snug in my shoulders and underneath my arms. Sizing up didn't help as it was too big around my waist.

I bought this to replace an older version of the same jacket. The zipper on this one is tricky to get started and it is quite a bit puffier than older version.

Bought this coat few years ago and LOVE it! It's starting to show some wear (it gets a lot of use) so I bought a replacement for next season. I tried it on and couldn't zip it at all! No problem with my old one but the new one is clearly defective. Returning it tomorrow and hoping I find a replacement with a working zipper. Everything else about the coat is great!

Beautiful coat, but it's just not very warm. I would not recommend wearing this coat in temperatures under 40 degrees. I am disappointed in the performance, and I may return this coat.

It's really cute and comfortable, but not overly warm. I even wore a sweatshirt under it, and I was still cold in the 35 degree weather. The zipper is absolutely terrible!!! So frustrating. Will probably return

This jacket is mostly great; it's lightweight yet warm enough for Oregon's not-too-cold winters. The pockets are a little low, but that's only slightly annoying. The real drawback to this jacket, as others have mentioned, is the miserable zipper. I can only recommend this jacket if you don't mind having to struggle with the zipper for a minute or two every time you try to zip it up. I'm keeping it because I need a jacket now and it's good enough despite the zipper issue.

I have purchased a few iterations of this jacket over the years; and the zippers are always the first thing to go. It is so frustrating to have a great jacket that you can't enjoy because the zipper breaks within the first month or two of wear. Columbia, please find a new source for zippers!!!
