I have been looking for a light weight winter coat. Both daughter's have one, so I looked at Columbia because I love all their stuff. Found this one with Omni heat, which makes it really warm even in CO. It won't work for our big snow storms, but most of the winter it will be great (we get more sunny days than Miami Beach!). I've used it quite a lot since it arrived last month. Bought the blue, which is really pretty. It will smash down to nothing for travel! I normally buy a medium and that's what I bought this time. A sweater will be fine under it, usually I wear long sleeve teeshirts though. I will say, I have a closet full of coats and jackets from Columbia, & this one is probably my favorite so far! Love it!

I love how the jacket comes down over my thighs, great for walking on those cold windy days! The hood fits well too..It does run small as literature says, so go up one size for a better fit!

For tall and slim builds- not flattering sent back

I bought this for when I’m outside for extended periods at events where I am supporting. It’s perfect. I sized up so I can wear extra layers underneath comfortably. Plus it’s beautiful enough to wear out for a evening out on the town. Omni heat keeps the coat light and packable but still quite warm. It kept me warm through 2 long weekends of supporting friends at 100 mile running races volunteering and spectating. I even used it as a blanket one night!

I love this coat. Nice blue color. Fuzzy hood and pockets. Stylish too.

My favorite coat. This is the second one I have bought. Not too bulky. Perfect for all kinds of weather. Classy look.

Just what I was looking for. Sizing is spot on - for reference I’m 5’7”, 138lbs. and I ordered the medium which fits perfect. Initially I was a little put off by the aluminum foil type looking lining (reminds me of a rescue blanket), but it’s perfectly comfortable and doesn’t crackle. Love this jacket.

Everything is great, except that it has a fuzzy hood that causes my hair to be static-y

Finally a coat that checks all the boxes! I love it, light weight but warm and packable. Based on other reviews I decided to order a XL I am 5ft 8 and150lbs It really is a little big on me but I decided to keep it because I would rather it be a little big (for layering) than a little too tight.

The size fit great, it wasn’t too snug nor too big. The color is pretty and has a chic look to it.

This jacket has been a favorite for years. I have a relatively tall frame and thin figure (5'10" and 130lbs) and never find anything that is long enough for my torso or my arms without swimming on me. I very comfortably fit into an XS and the sleeves are a perfect length. It hugs my curves well enough to make me look like an actual woman instead of a blob and the length of the jacket in general is practical enough to keep me warm but also look stylish enough to be considered a "dressy" jacket. It's truly perfect for all occasions! It is also a relatively light jacket but works amazing for fall and winter in the Chicagoland area. The inside lining will actually make you easily sweat if you're not careful. Overall I would recommend this jacket to anyone! I'm so glad I found it!

I got caught in a freak snowstorm on a trip to Colorado last year where temperatures drastically and unexpectedly dropped to 12 degrees Fahrenheit in the middle of October. So unexpected, even the locals talked about how the temperature had not dropped that low in October in over a decade. I was there for a while and fully planned on returning home before temperatures dropped in November, so I had this as my warmest jacket ONLY. I SURVIVED four days of being a tourist in snowy Colorado!! I have normally wear a size Small in all Columbia jackets, and this is size Small. I generally don't like to layer a lot, but because this jacket is meant for temperatures around 30 degrees, I absolutely had to layer a thermal and 1-2 sweaters underneath this jacket. All in all, I had 3-4 layers total during this trip, and I felt great! I hiked the snowy red rocks, visited the snowy amphitheater, visited snowy Garden of the Gods, and walked all around snowy 12-degree Denver in this jacket, and I was cold, but I survived. I DO NOT recommend this jacket for 12-degree weather in general - it's perfect for 30-degree+. However, this is a great jacket that saved me from having to spend a lot of money on a new one during my trip! I have the olive green jacket and love it - I am looking for an excuse to buy the black one!

Lightweight yet warm. I liked the double zipper and the length of it. Perfect option for fall or mild winter days.

Perfect fit, length and warmth!

I absolutely LOVE this coat. I've been looking for a coat like this, with this fit and warmth (but not bulk) for years. I agree that it possibly runs smallish--the small is great for me and I'm a 2-4 on top with narrow shoulders, 4 waist down. If you're a 6 the small would probably be tight.

I just received the jacket and haven't had a chance to wear it. It looks beautiful and fits great. I got a size larger to make room for sweaters. Such a pretty color and all seems to be in good working order.

I can't say enough of how happy I am with my latest purchase . This jacket fits a bit small so as instructed I ordered up a size. Great fit , nice detailing , and will be extremely better for driving comfortably. The zipper works great . I would recommend this to women who do not like to wear a bulky coat while driving .

I love the color (plum). I was afraid it would be really bright, but it's really pretty in person. This is my second heavenly coat from Columbia. It's perfect for a mild winter climate. The only thing I'm taking a star away for is that it is tight in the armpits.

I LIKE this coat. It is light weight and comfortable. "Minor" details like an inside vest pocket, hood, and zippered outside pockets with a cozy interior add to the charm. I have been wearing an earlier model for a good 6 years, it still serves well, but when I saw a lively color at a decent price, I bought. It serves me well until Wisconsin winter really hits. It is not adequate when the temperature is reliably below 30 - 35 degrees. I want the ease for cool weather sweaters and no rump bump. I'm wearing size large. My weight 135 lb, hips 39", 5'5".
