Not as warm as I imagined considering the price.

Great jacket fits well as long as you want an orange jacket & not a red as represented. But cute so I did not return it.

Great lightweight jacket without sacrificing warmth. Packs down into a very compact size which is great for layering for hiking and other outdoor activities. My only complaint is the unusual cut. It works decent enough for me but the fit will be odd and untenable for some- the cut is very slim around the torso but also fairly tall with long sleeves...

Great looking jacket with nice slim fit that isn't too boxy. Arms are tight around the shoulders though.

This is a spectacular jacket, but I own it in black and that one fits true to size. I purchased another one in blue because I love my black one so much, but this one is larger than my black. Both jackets are the men's thermoball eco in large

Great, stylish coat, I didn't realize how lightweight it was and my husband needed to wear a few layers on the colder days. I would buy it again maybe as a fall jacket

This jacket is much warmer than expected. Everything about is great, but the jacket might be better if you go a size up than normal, the stitching feels tight in the armpits and restricts some movement when the jacket zipped.

Winter jacket. I always pair it with a Thermoball vest.

Mostly throw it on to grab something outside or run errands. If you're not a marathon runner, size up. I'm 5'8" and 160# and needed a Large.

Have had the jacket for 4 months now and noticed that the seams are pulling apart in one area on the chest and it appears as though the insulation is coming out. Will be sending it in for a warranty claim. Other than that, stylish and warm while still being light weight.

I had been looking for a lightweight jacket to replace a similarly-colored jacket I had been wearing for a number of years. When I saw that this jacket was on sale, I decided to pull the trigger. I had heard good things about the Thermoball line and was eager to try for myself. I really like the neutral olive color and subtle TNF logo. The jacket is extremely lightweight yet provides good warmth, perfect for typical mild winter days in south Georgia. My biggest complaint is that it seems to run slimmer than I would have liked. I ordered a medium, but it would almost be too snug if I was wearing more than a single layer underneath. For layering purposes, I would order a size larger to be safe.

My dream coat would have a removable hood and pockets inside, but this is pretty darn close!

I use it basically every day. It has always been my favorite jacket and I've purchased many in the past. The quilting stitches snag though.

Bought this jacket for my husband a few years ago and he loved it but it's gotten a little worn looking so I recently purchased another . Same size xxl but the new jacket is about 1.5 -2 inches narrower in the body and he says it's not as warm as his old Thermoball . Don't know if this matters but the original was 100% nylon insulation and the new is 100% polyester filling. Still a great jacket but it seems to have changed a bit .

Excellent Jacket. Only con is the jacket I received isn't matte in color like my older TNF Thermoball black matte from a couple years ago. It has more shine to it which I'm not too happy about. I'm guessing the material changed ?

Ordered size up based on reviews, but think I could have ordered my normal XL (6'1" 210lb). The XXL is a bit baggie. Regardless a very warm coat and room for a fleece if the temp really dip down.

This is my second thermoball. My first one was a nice fit for a large, but this one is very, very snug for a large and I am also the same weight / size. They must have changed the design. I'll stick with the new large, but I wish it wasn't as snug. I think an XL woudl be a tad too big.

Like some other reviewers here I missed the part about this being a SLIM FIT garment. When I checked the sizing chart I thought I might be OK with what I ordered. I'm an older guy and not as 'slim' as I once was; but at 5'8" and about 160 pounds a medium should have been a good fit. When it arrived and I tried it on it was ridiculously snug, maybe when I was a teenager and weighed a buck twentyfive it would be comfortable but not today. My petite 5'6", 120# wife found it fit her well other than the sleeves being a little long so I gave it to her rather than return it. The quality and construction appear to be the high quality you'd expect from TNF but I wish it were offered in a "classic" or "relaxed" fit so normal people could wear it.

I have two Thermoball jackets -- the original version, and the newer slim-cut version -- and agree with the "GREAT TRAVEL JACKET!" review below that the new ones are too tight. Many brands offer "regular" and "slim" versions of their more popular products, and I think that would be a good way for TNF to go with the Thermoball. These are versatile, stylish jackets, but you're missing out on a significant demographic -- older customers, and people who are fit, but not slim -- that would buy Thermoballs if they were more forgiving... as the original version was.
