I went to the North Face store in Indianapolis and tried on many different styles. The team helped me pick this one. This coat is going to help me stay warm and dry for my job. It is also stylish! I would highly recommend.

I own two thermoball regular jackets as well as a regular NF thick parka. I gained weight and can no longer zipper it so wanted something that fit but lighter weight for central coast California weather. We get as cold as 30s to 40s in winter. Cold enough for me. So far this jacket is comfy. Keeps me warm. Wore in rain and kept me dry. Long enough to keep most of my legs warm as well. Wasn't sure I would want a not detachable hood but has come in handy for quick run from car in the rain. Love it.

I'm a freshman in college at a school in New England. We like to say, "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute." In other words, our weather is unpredictable. However, at the College of the Holy Cross on the top of Mount Saint James in Worcester, winter is predictable -- very cold. I was desperately in need of a warm coat, and this is it!

I got this as a birthday gift for my 24th birthday. Before then I was a broken woman, a shell of a human being. My days were spent drifting hither and thither, perpetually cold, constantly yearning for a garment to keep my Rubenesque body warm. And from on High, descending from gold, shimmering clouds, escorted by a fleet of six-winged angels, came this coat. I began to weep, and my tears fell upon this coat. They did no harm because this coat is water-resistant. Though I am unworthy and wretched, I put my arms through the sleeves and adorned my mealy corpse with this glorious coat. I saw eternity. My inner eye was opened and I saw all that was and all that will be stretched before me. More importantly I was kept very warm and snuggley, and was excited by the large pockets, the coats longer style (sheilding my thighs and knees from the wind), the drawstring feature for the waistline (I techinically have no use for this, because I'm #thicc, but maybe someday), and the coats beautiful color: Quail Gray (in person it is a gentle, light grayish-pink). To summize, please buy this coat. Can you recall "The Cave Allegory" by Plato? My experience with this coat was similar to Plato's allegory, except instead of leaving a cave, I put on a coat.

Love love love my new thermoball parka. I searched everywhere for the perfect navy parka and The NorthFace had exactly what I wanted. I did a lot of research and was happy with the size that I picked. Very light weight and stylish. I am 5'6 , 140lbs and the medium was the perfect fit!

I have been looking for a warm parka that doesn't contain down. This jacket is perfect! At first I was worried that it wouldn't be warm because it is so thin. I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be incredibly warm and unbelievably comfortable because it is so thin. I don't think I could go back to wearing a thick, bulky coat again.

Bought this to wear over layered clothing for a cold football game. It's perfect!! It's just long enough to cover your bum so you don't sit on the cold seat!

I live in Ottawa, Ontario and the winters can be brutal and cold. Needed a warm jacket for walking the dogs twice a day and since I hate being cold, this was the perfect parka! Lightweight, comfortable and stylish enough for everyday use! Love it! :)

North Face never disappoints. This jkt is lightweight and very warm. Great for travel. I love the length as I live in a province that has cold winters and to have your bottom covered is always a great thing!
Great quality. Well worth the money. I need to buy more colors!!!

I'm short, but this jacket hits about 2 inches above my knee. It's very light weight, yet warm and windproof! Its very versatile. I wear it to walk the dog to wearing it with business attire for work. Very comfortable to wear in the car, not bulky or too warm.

My most favorite parka. Light as a feather, warm as heck. Love it casual, looks cool for a night out. Navy is my new black.

I am a parapro at our local elementary school, which includes being the playground monitor. Since I live in Michigan, temperatures can get quite chilly! So far, I couldn't be happier with my jacket!

This is my 3rd Thermoball. I'm hooked! They are reasonably priced and well made. This parka is perfect for me because it's so lightweight while being quite warm. I love this green color- it's darker than expected but it's very nice. I live in the Seattle area and it's been waterproof for me.

As my go to winter jacket, it is beautifully made and warm without using down feathers which I love.
There is an elastic at the waist to make it highlight my figure.
Also inner pockets for safe keping.
