Overall this is a great jacket. I had to size up as the jacket fit small. The coat is very comfortable, warm and has great style.

The Gotham Parka II is a wonderful addition to my winter wear. It is lightweight but warm with stylish design. It is long enough to protect upper legs from the cold weather. So far it meets all my winter needs!

Great product, love the color. I would say runs a bit small.

I use this product walking around campus during winter. Works great for that. Only complaints are that the jacket can restrict arm movement and tends to bell out at the waist.

Long walk to work everyday in the cold, this coat definitely helped me stay warm.

I am 5"2. 105 pounds and a small was perfect but leaves little room for layering so I got a medium. A medium makes it baggy at the armpits and waist but that's ok. A small would have shown more flattering shape and I am Not curvy. Im a stick with little hips. Not sure about warmth yet. I'm from California and will be going to east coast in January. Sleeves were long enough to allow me to form a fist to tuck in. It has elastic around wrist. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and it won't fit in the inside pocket (made to fit cards). Phone barely fits in the side pockets which aren't really warm. It's deep enough to place hands in but doesn't insulate. I love the hood.

Runs small, if you want to layer go a size up. Love the fit, it's form flattering.

Great lightweight coat that keeps you warm. I’m 5’1 and the length is perfect. The only thing I wish is that it was waterproof.

I truly loved this jacket the moment I tried it on. It fit absolutely perfect. I must say it definitely was not crazy warm. I wore it on a 30 degree day with only a t-shirt underneath and I felt fine. But when those cold Chicago winters come a-knockin, this jacket won't do.

I usually find North Face coats to run slightly small however this does not. I ordered my regular size medium. It's a little wide in the hips but bottom draw cord makes it ok. Nice length and warmth. Hood is also very snug to keep out wind for dog walking etc.

To be honest I wasn't sure about the puckering on the sides of this coat. But my friends all said it was pretty and flattering, and I really needed it this winter on my way to work in downtown buffalo because in the AM it is like the arctic. The coat is in general more figure grabbing than others on the website, and I'm not totally sure if I'll continue to want it to make me look like such a marshmallow queen. I will be on the lookout for a more subtle style in the future, although it does look cute, and the quilting is in classic squares. When I unzip it it looks a little bit strange, but I will mostly be wearing it closed. Length is JUST RIGHT. (5'6, 115 lbs)

I bought this jacket to keep me warm through Wisconsin fall and winter dog walks. It's warm and I absolutely LOVE that the zipper with hood completely surrounds my head and mouth to keep them warm and block the wind. I gave 4 stars because even though it's warm, it could be just a bit warmer/thicker. Hoping it will be warm enough to get through negative temps in Wisconsin winter.

I am looking forward to wearing this coat, especially in cold NY state winters.

I really like the style and color of the coat, but it was too snug in the stomach and arm area. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

I like everything about this coat (length, weight) EXCEPT the bright white NF lettering on the front and the back. Just that little detail makes it look more sporty than I want. I want a coat that can also be used for slightly dressier occasions. When wearing a dress or nicer pants, I want a coat with a more neutral look. I may return it just for this little reason!

I wear this coat recreationally

I was looking for something feminine on my slender body, although this has a shape to it, the hip area was too wide for me. It made me look large.

This coat keeps me warm while I am out on the playground with my students.

Sleeves were a little short for me. I’m 5’10”.

Definitely buy - keeps you really warm and is a nice fit - I bought a small because the medium made my hips look big

The style, color and length of the coat is perfect. The only thing I would say as a con is that about a month after having the coat, the water resistant seal rubbed off in two spots by the zipper. I could not figure out why but I took it back to North Face and they swapped it out for a new one on the spot. I was really happy with the customer service. Overall really cute and warm coat for Rocky Mountain weather.

Bought for my older mother. She had trouble with the double zipper. Also the coat is very bulky to wear need up exchanging to a lighter weight but warm north face that she liked better

Love the jacket!

This was almost the perfect coat for me, but I returned it. I did not like the white North Face logo on the front of the black coat. I have a longer North Face coat, that I love, which as the logo in black on the black coat. I will hope they change it next year and I will definitely buy the coat. It felt great as soon as I put it on. Even better would be if it came in Navy, with the logo in navy. If you do not mind the contrasting logo, I would recommend the coat.
