I purchased this jacket because I was looking for a lightweight down jacket for camping. I was concerned about the ruggedness of the jacket and how it would hold up wooded areas, particularly getting snagged on tree branches. After receiving the jacket all my worries were put to rest. The jacket is rugged and extremely comfortable. It is lightweight and provides warmth without feeling bulking. The jacket that I bought for camping has now become my everyday jacket. I have since purchased the same women's jacket for my wife. Outstanding lightweight down jacket - highly recommended. Thank you Columbia for making awesome products!

The coat is so lightweight and compact it's great for traveling. I depart PHL and land in YYC... could be 50deg difference. Awesome that it zips into Columbia shells as well.

This jacket is great for a brisk morning walk. It's not a fully loaded down jacket but is simple enough that it can be worn for casual and formal events without the bulk. It holds heat well for the limited quantity of down and the stitching seems to be of average quality. Only complaint is that it did have a lot of loose ends when it arrived.

It's light to carry and keeps you warm. I felt it is little small than expected.

Love color red, quality, and heat-seal technology.
But to snug under armpits might cause sweating. And, wish to have an adjust cord. So, end up returning.

It warms me up during the eary spring. But it runs a little too small at the chest.

Verified PurchaseReview for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I previously had one of Columbia's interchange jackets and liked the idea so much that I wanted to put a down jacket underneath my Columbia snowboarding jacket (which doesn't have the zip-in capability). This jacket is great, well-made, looks sharp. The downside is that it's longer than their normal interchange jackets and stuck out from underneath my snowboarding jacket so I returned it.

Overall I think the purchase was good. Jacket is as expected per information about it on the site. Only issue I have found is the zippers on the pockets seem to get stuck in the extra material. Has happened several times in the pocket area but main zipper is fine.

Ordered this on customer service recommendation as an Interchange inner jacket. It is NOT compatible with Interchange shells. The zipper is not compatible so cannot be zipped in and does not have loops to be attached to the shell.
Otherwise seems very nice. Returned for an alternative.

I am 6 feet tall and 150 pounds, and the size medium was way too big for me. I then bought the small size and it fits much better. I would not recommend getting the size medium unless if you are over 6'2" and 160 pounds. Overall, the jacket keeps me warm in weather down to 45-50 F with just a t-shirt underneath. Great quality.

Was very excited for this purchase. I have a 750 fill down puffy from another company that has kept me warm, but was too big (won it in a contest). so I was interested in getting one that fit me.
Columbus Ohio: I wore this jacket in 41F bright sunny day. It kept me warm, but not toasty, and this was on top of a light sweater and light flannel. I think this product has excellent quality, it was built very nicely, and the colors are great. I got the dark blue with red trim, which I thought was fashionable and good for birding.
This jacket seems like an excellent puffy for above freezing temperatures. It seems obvious that this jacket was created as a light layer and should be worn as such. however, it is a good puffy, and can be worn at below freezing with a nice fleece layer underneath, and you will be kept nice and toasty. The advertising is a little off, because it does claim to be extremely warm, whereas I would say it is moderately warm. this is a god jacket for floridians in need of a winter coat, where temps dont fall below 40, but not great for an ohioan who needs a coat that can withstand sub zero temps on aregular basis.

This is my first packable down jacket and so far I like it very much due to its lightweight and warmth and fits true to size. I have worn this jacket when temp is between 40-50 deg F and not super windy and it will keep me warm with just a tee-shirt.

I got this jacket today, fits great. I'm 5'10 165lb and got the medium. Looks good, athletic fit. Not sure of warmth in the cold yet but I trust what others say. Only complaint I have is that there is no packable zipper pocket like other comparable jackets have. I bought it for hiking on the AT this november, I'll amend my review after.

I bought this jacket as a base layer for winter activities. It ran pretty large even though the same size usually fits me at other stores, so make sure you pay attention to that if you are buying it online. One complaint I had was that there is no adjustability in the jacket that would allow you to cinch the ends of sleeves or around your waist and neck. Also, there is a bit less down than I was expecting, but it is still a warm jacket.

Looking forward to getting this jacket outside in some cool air. So far, it is a solid feeling and fitting jacket. It shipped quick and got here with no problems.

I bought this down jacket for my husband, it fits him well, and he looks good with it. Price is reasonable. Although we live in South Carolina, but he can use it anywhere as a layer, he said it is warm.

I bought this coat for my husband and he looks great! He said it's not as warm as he'd hope but luckily we're having a mild winter.

This jacket is a good light weight jacket but is surprisingly warm for being so light. For the price I'm not sure there is a comparable jacket with real down filling. I woulndnt wear this jacket in 10 degree weather, but it does more than fine in 20 degrees plus and may even be too warm for high 40's. I like the look - the bubbles are evenly dispersed and the collegiate navy blue color is a nice alternative to black. My only two minor complaints: 1). A little tight around arm pits when wearing a light sweater; 2) the bottom waist has an elastic band too keeping it snug but is would be nice if it were Djustable to be able to tighten or loosen. But as I said these are minor and I'm happy.

I like the Jacket its has nice colors and a good feel. But like with most Columbia jackets this runs big. I'm 5'11 and weight 165lbs and the small is a bit big on me.
