The 650 fill down liner is simply amazing! Columbia has never failed to impress me with their products and this one delivers. I am very warm wearing this and the price was phenomenal. I purchased the Phoenix Blue, I get lots of complements on the color so it must be very good. This will ultimately be used as a liner using the 3-1 system but we don't get enough really cold days to justify spending the money right now. The Lake 22 is light and packable so will go in my backpack when it gets too warm to wear on the hiking trails. I am a beanpole 5'10, 135 lbs and the medium fit is great.

You get exactly what you're buying. Very light weight and warm. I purchased the 22 for mid range temps and it delivers. Not one to layer but a light vest and this jacket will do the job if colder. If it's colder my other Columbia's are my choice. Great jacket, great price so go get one. You will be pleased!!

I bought this for my eldest son to make it through the Chicago winter. After one month (January) he said it is great!!!

Ordered 2 of these jackets for the guys in my family! They wear them all the time now that they have them! They say the warmth and light weight of the jacket makes them select this one every time they go out.

Nice jacket for Northwest "so-so" days. Keeps in the warmth without overheating. Looks nice enough to wear to the office. Fits well, with enough room in the shoulders to be active.

The jacket purchased was lightweight and exactly the size and warmth that I was needing. It is fashionable and can be warn with many different settings from casual to dress.

This jacket is very light weight but keeps you perfectly warm. Perfect for chilly winter days when don't like to wear a bulky heavy winter coat.

Beside the zipper color did not match the picture the jacket is perfect !

I ordered a size too large thinking I would need to for it to fit over bulky winter clothing. I exchanged it for the correct size and it's perfect. For a super warm jacket, it is much less heavy and bulky than I expected. I highly recommend this jacket.

I recently purchased this coat as it has been in the teens and twenties here in Charlotte and it's AMAZING! My other "winter coat" was an older bulkier coat that was warm but was not super comfortable. This new Lake 22 is not only just as warm but it is so comfortable I don't even remember I have a coat on. The technology in this coat makes it the lightest and warmest I have ever worn. Way to go Columbia! This one is a winner.

This seems like a really warm, comfortable jacket and the shell's fabric seems sturdier than some down jackets I've encountered. Unfortunately, though, it was way too big for my son. He's a lanky teenager (5'7"/110 lbs) and he was absolutely swimming in a size SMALL. I wish there was an XS option, but it doesn't look like Columbia makes it in this particular jacket.

I love this jacket! It is so lightweight yet so warm even in sub-zero temperature. Even on windy days, it is easily my go-to jacket.

This was my first down jacket. I was surprised how light it was yet it kept me warm. I was complimented how sharp it looks on me. I was fine in the 20 - 30 degree weather but needed something a little warmer when it has been below zero. Overall happy with the product and recommend it for early spring, fall and early winter.

Fits great... Amazingly light for such a warm jacket... Have been wearing it with temps in the teens and it's doing a great job. Love the style and the deep inside pockets. Overall highly recommended.

The jacket was perfect for my boyfriend to take on his winter trip! It keeps him warm and looks awsome on him! I had orded a Large for him but was way too big, so i changed it for a size medium and it was better.

The jacket is warm and fits well

Bought this coat for my husband, he was hesitant to wear it to watch my son play hockey but found it to be super warm and so lightweight. Also bought another one for my other son to wear around campus at college. He loves the warmth and the fact that it's so lightweight and not bulky. Great for wearing to class and taking off inside without taking up a bunch of room in a lecture hall.

I've only had the jacket for 2 weeks or so, but it has proven it's worth. Keeps me warm on cold mornings and windy evenings. It kept me warm on a day I was outside for 5 hours in temperatures in the 20s. Only have to wear a few base layers under to keep me warm. Really like the Phoenix blue color; goes well with jeans & khakis.

Been using all three forms of an interchange jacket as my primary jackets for probably 15 years. The shell finally wore out and I replaced it a year ago. I was thrilled to find out Columbia is still making jackets that fit. My down jacket zipper has pretty well packed up, so I decided to replace it with this. Unfortunately, despite the description, this is not interchange compatible, as it lacks the loops on the sleeves and the coarse zipper for connecting with a shell. Ended up deciding to keep this as a lighter jacket, and keep the old down connected with the shell as a heavy winter coat. This one looks as good as my previous, so I expect it to perform and hold up well. Only thing missing are pit zips, which are a nice feature if you're getting a little warm, but prefer not to pack it away.
