This jacket performs amazingly, fits amazingly, and looks fantastic especially in the Phenom colourway.

I needed a mid weight rain shell and this was perfect. It's a boxier fit but I can easily fit my cerium layers underneath so it does fit large. Love the color as well

I've had the jacket for 5 months now and I only have good things to say about it. I love all the small details and it really does what it is supposed to do and it's really versatile. Highly recommend

I purchased this jacket a few months ago and couldn't be more pleased. I love the fit, it's super light, and the color is gorgeous (I got the purple one). It's been awesome in the summer rain and I plan to use it as a light shell for skinning as the snow will be here in the high country before we know it. Plan to use this shell for years to come.

it is very light and versatile especially with the side vents. I used it year round from skiing, hiking to just walks around town. The jacket is great paired with Proton LT, just enough warmth and very breathable.

I bought this jacket 6 years ago and after moving four times (from Canada to the US) it is still going strong and is my go-to jacket for the bad weather!

This is a second Beta I have purchased. I absolutely love it! So lightweight, and the Gore-Tex waterproofing makes it a grand slam for me. Keeps me dry even in downpours, I don't have to worry at all.
Amazing jacket.

This jacket is incredibly versatile and I've gotten countless uses out of it already. Great for hiking, mountaineering, skiing, and who knows what else! The fit is spot on and isn't restricting in the slightest.

I love this jacket! I went on a trip forgetting a rain coat and bought this. It's amazing! I stay 100% completely dry. The fit is fantastic. Not too boxy and I even sized up as that was all that was available. It's got the perfect cut. For reference I'm 5'9 and 170lbs and usually wear a large but bought the XL.

Protected me from a recent down pour hike in BC. I prefer a Small for most Arc'teryx shells to layer over my typical XS size, it allows enough room to add the Atom AR and/or a light puffer. On its own without layers, it is a bit big so keep that in mind if you do size up! It has a crunch sound like all the other shells I own but I don't mind that.

My preferred jacket for hiking in wet and windy weather. Lightweight and nice next to skin feeling thanks to the c-knit backing. I also have the Beta SV for severe conditions, but most of the times I end up with the Beta LT in my pack. The Beta LT is very versatile. Good Arcteryx quality with attention to details.

I've had this for just under a year now. It is my go to rain jacket for almost every activity. I absolutely love the softer feel of the Gore-tex (doesn't feel like I'm wearing a Gore-tex jacket at all). I have used this jacket as my city rain coat to my climbing and trekking jacket! It truly does it all.

I love this jacket. I bought this jacket for use as a daily driver rain jacket in Seattle but ended up using it year round for mountain sports. This jacket is light enough to take as an emergency shell for spring ski touring and mountaineer in addition to the use in daily life. Cant say enough good things about the versatility of this jacket!

Just wanted to say this is my first ever arcteryx shell I have ever purchased and with only a week of use I'm beyond impressed I've worn this jacket snowboarding twice and even against the wind and conditions of negative 20 degrees Celsius it's kept me the more warm and protected than any previous jacket has. Not only that but getting absolutely hammered I wore this jacket on my 5 km walk home in -25 and this jacket didn't let me feel the slightest cold. I recommend this jacket to everyone I can because honestly I'm amazed at the functionality of this jacket, it truly deserves its price point as well as the reputation it Carries.

Jacket is great. Tatsu is a beautiful colour and the silver stitching looks great. Very high quality and love the fit. Arcteryx seems to have both a trim fit and a fitted fit. Not sure what the difference it, but this fits true to size.

I have 2 of these and I rotate them from everyday use to even using on the mountain for snowboarding. Just keep up with the gore-Tex maintenance and you're good.

I bought mine second hand in amazing shape! I love every design element it makes it a true all around jacket. Rain just toss it on. Blizzards? Toss a cerium underneath and you're golden. This jacket is a real life cheat code it will not disappoint in any climate

I am very afraid of the cold, and I live in New England. This jacket is perfect for early winter. With a fleece jacket plus this shell jacket, you could stand weather at 32F (0-celsius degree). I love how the jacket is light yet durable. The fabric is a little rigid but still has softness without making too much noise (like other thicker materials will). Recommend

This is always included in my crag bag on those iffy weather days. Useful pockets and a helmet compatible hood.

For alpine activities this is the right jacket, light but durable. I love it, because of the very minimalistic features.
