My little sister is a college student in Boston. Her campus is pretty linear and her apartment is rather small. She is always having to walk from class to class outside. And since most students do not commute to school, her classes are almost never canceled due to extreme weather. Last year, she was sick for a couple months because she could not get rid of her cold. She doesn't have a lot of storage in her apartment to keep full winter gear. This jacket will be perfect for her because it will help keep her warm since it is designed for these harsh temperatures. Instead of needing to find space to keep multiple jackets, she can just use the two-in-one!! Although we have not had a tough winter yet, I'm happy to know she will be prepared when it finally does hit us! Thank you NorthFace! This made for a great early Christmas present!

My 7 year old son absolutely loves this jacket. He loves that he can separate the layers to wear it so many different ways. I needed something that I was comfortable sending him out ice fishing or skiing in but find myself so glad to know that we can lighten it up for rainy days. I have had several other brands and kinds of jackets and nothing compares!

We live in Chicago, which the weather changes constantly. We are in December and experiencing 60 degrees. I love that the jacket is layered and he can remove one to wear in this weather. When it has been colder it's been great and warm. My son is very fussy and picky. He doesn't like wearing heavy things. So this jacket is perfect for him because it's lightweight and not bulky. My daughter is 3 and she has had hers since last year with equal results. I love it.

My 4 year old son wears this coat. We will get him this coat for every year that he needs a new one. The inner portion of the coat is a fantastic coat as its own. It's down, very slim, and looks great. When you add the shell, it's ready for snow, and the cold weather, while still looking so amazing.

great fitting. bought for my 11 year old son, who is not huge. bought the 14 size, which fits well and is not oversized. Nice color in red.

Our family loves North Face coats, gloves, hats, etc. We cannot find a better company that makes these items. Their products keep us warm and look attractive on us. They aren't bulky, yet feel so warm, as if you ARE wearing layers of insulation. I have had every item ever purchased from North Face last because their products are well made - I hand them down to my sister who has much younger children to use because as my children continue to outgrow the clothes and gloves, the quality, stitching, fabric remains durable and still looks great. Every time we try to go with a cheaper brand, we are disappointed and end up buying North Face in the end. If you've never tried North Face and are trying it now, be prepared to find your perfect coat or outdoor weather protection. It just is the best brand. Unmatched!

Brought this jacket last year for my son he is atypical hyper boy. He used it for school playtime outside in the snow.it kept him very warm despite of how light and thin it looked I ended buying another this year also for my daughter I was able to pass on his old jacket to another child as it took all the wear and still looked new

This is the first time I have ordered online, rather than have my child try his clothes on at a local store. The fit was perfect and, as always, the quality is great. This jacket is especially nice as it has the down layer for colder days but can be taken out for spring skiing.
