I am so excited that I the quest for a pump shoe that fits my wide foot and is at least semi attractive is over. I cannot even tell you how many pairs of pumps I have tried on only to sadly put them back in the box and ship them back because they don't fit. These shoes fit my wide feet (ordered the WW width), are really pretty, and feel super on my feet. They are constructed with an insert that enables your feet to form to the shoe and have great support for arches. Yea! Thanks Zappos for being patient with all my returns. I will be ordering more shoes from you and SAS.

I wanted these to work so much that I tried them on several times before deciding that I must return them. The leather was buttery soft and the shoe quality was exceptional compared to all the shoes I have ever tried on in a price range below $250. The little pillows inside of the heel area were a great idea for adding comfort and there was padding in the insole. of the removable footbed. I also love the heel height but was not crazy about the chunky kitten heel. I still would have kept them to wear with slacks if they had fit, however. I ordered the 6.5M (my usual size for shoes other than walking/running shoes) and the length was perfect but the toe box was a bit narrow. I have average to slightly narrow feet, so this shouldn't have happened. Still, I might have kept the shoes and hoped they would stretch some, but the heel cup was too wide that they kept slipping off, despite the tiny pillows. The heel was so wide that I didn't think it was possible to fix it with an insert of some kind. I do have somewhat narrower heels like many women. The shoes also looked like there was little shape to them as I looked down on them, and I noticed the sides at arch gaped. I think the shape of the beautifully done almost seamless removable foot bed may be contributing to this problem because I have average arches. This was my first time to try SAS shoes, so I'm not sure if this is the typical fit for their shoes. Also, I am almost 60 yrs old and I thought the chunky kitten heel made them look matronly, especially since the upper heel area looks like it is cut higher on this shoe, but I'm not a fan of kitten heels. A stacked (non-kitten) heel that is not too block-like placed further back on the shoe would have made them look classic and timeless. I loved the heel height (I'm 5'4") and regret that they didn't work because it is hard to find professional business pumps of good quality with a heel height below 2".

Years and years ago, before SAS had their own label dedicated shoe stores, I was purchasing their classic loafers in the local retail shoe stores until they weren't in the retail shoe stores anymore. They suddenly disappeared and I could not find out what happened to the SAS label shoes. Many years later I happened to find them again when they appeared on the internet and the closest store to me was a twenty minutes freeway drive several towns away. I was so happy to find this store and resumed shoes purchases at this SAS store. I am an "old lady" now in mid-80s but still want fashionable shoes. Have since discovered Milano (the flight attendants love them), Dream and Roamer. I discovered Elaine and Moxie on Zappos and asked the retailer about them. Apparently, they felt certain SAS shoes made in Italy are a little different than the ones SAS makes in the U.S. so they don't handle those particular shoes. I loved the look of Elaine and Moxie and decided to try purchasing a pair from Zappos. I normally wear a 6 1/2 B (medium) in other shoes but measured 6 !/2 W (wide) in SAS shoes, so I looked for 6 1/2 W Black in Elaine and Moxie at Zappos. Well of course Elaine was sold out in my size and color, but Moxie did have 6 1/2 W, Black. The style Moxie did come in 6 1/2 W, Black, but it had a pronounced pointy toe and I was afraid it would not fit well. Elaine did not have a Black 6 1/2W, but did have one left in Navy Blue. Although I've never bought Navy Blue I was interested in how that style would fit on me. Many comments reported it fit true to size, so I took a leap of faith and ordered the last pair of 6 1/2 W left. When they arrived, I immediately tried the shoes on and they were a perfect fit. I am now considering purchasing that last pair of Moxie in 6 1/2 Black.

I really like these shoes. I wear a 7.5, and the shoe fits wonderfully. The heel takes a bit of getting used to due to the cushion on the side of the heel holding the shoe on. It feels like the heel is loose, but my heel doesn’t slide at all. The cushioning in the sole of the shoe is amazing. I was able to wear this shoe all day at work and my feet felt fine at the end of the day. I do a moderate amount of standing and walking during the day. The toe box was a bit tight, but not so tight to be uncomfortable.

Love these shoes! I am 70 years old, 5'10" and wear a size 10M...long toes and high arch! Perfect height of heel for comfort and balance, and beautifully crafted! Also, love how well made and supportive that the insole is! San Antonio Shoe Company has been very popular for years here in central Texas and they are known for producing high quality and comfortable shoes!

If you are looking for really comfortable pumps, look no further. These are not terribly stylish, but they feel like gloves on your feet. They do run a bit narrow-- I usually order a wide, in these shoes I ordered both the W and the WW (extra wide) and kept the WW pair. Rounded toes make them a bit stodgy in appearance, but believe me you could not ask for more comfort.

This is a very nice heel. The leather is beautiful and very soft. However it did not fit as the whole front of the shoe was way too snug despite the shoe being a wide width.

Very well built shoe. It ran large on my 9.5N foot, and I would have "walked out of it." Wish it had worked.

I only just got these and tried them on but I have to admit that I am loving these. I LOVE that they have the little 'pillow's on the sides of the heel. I feel like these will work out great and are absolutely perfect for work. I look forward to breaking these in.

I bought these because they looked quite comfortable and fit into my uniform requirements for work. They’re not the most stylish shoes I’ve ever worn, but they’re great for happy feet when I’m running around all day and they’re such nice quality. I constantly feel like I’m treating myself!

The shoes are good quality and very pretty. I would give them 5 stars if only they fit. So far I've tried 2 different sizes - 10 and 9.5 and had to return both because they are too long. I wear size 9.5 Vionic but these in size 9.5 are at least a halve size too long. I appreciate Zappos excellent customer service!

Too narrow

Nice shoe...stylish and a lovely navy. I ordered my regular size, but the shoe fit very narrow and my toes were squished in the toe box. I won't order again, but if I did I would order a wider width and probably a 1/2 size larger.

SAS is usually consistent with sizing, but no true with this pump. It was quite short and narrow, and tempted to try the next full size up or even 1 ½ sizes (staying with wide because I need the wider toe box) but not enough time to receive for an event. The leather is really nice. Like that it is a darkish navy vs a brighter navy. Not sure why many pumps have black heels instead of a matching leather wrapped around the heel, and these are not inexpensive (but par for good SAS shoes). I may try them again in the new sizes because they are basic, classic pumps that would go with anything.

Way too tight. I don't think this is true to size at all. Cute shoe, though.

The shoe comes with a removable insole. Never seen that before in a shoe. Shoe fits WITHOUT the insole. Don't know if shoe will hold up if it is worn without the insole.

They are just what I expected but just a tiny bit too small to be really comfortable. I'm on my feet alot at work, so I may end up exchanging them for a half size bigger.
