I have owned 6 pairs of the relaxed style over the years. They are the most comfortable sandals ever. I have a high arch, narrow heel, wider instep and these can be adjusted to fit like a glove and it is the softest leather I have ever felt. The contoured footbed is so comfortable. And they last forever. The elastic does wear out eventually but can be replaced. Only 1 complaint: I wish the denim color came in narrow width.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have a skin condition (Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex) that makes me very prone to blisters, especially on my feet. Finding shoes that don't rub, have enough cushion and are also cute has been a lifelong struggle for me. I've also got wide feet and high arches so the buckles on these make them highly customizable and I've had no issue of them being too tight that they pinch or too loose that they rub when I walk. The thick cushiony sole gives me the support I need for my arches and helps minimize the pressure blisters I get from walking too much. I've had these sandals for years and they are some of the only shoes, certainly only sandals, I've ever had where I can wear them for days doing a lot of walking and I haven't gotten blisters. I have the Teddy color which is soft on the outside and I'm not confident wearing them out in the rain because of it. Luckily I live in a climate where we don't get that much rain, so it's not an issue I run into very often. Overall, as someone who has struggled their whole life finding shoes that are comfortable, but still look relatively youthful, these sandals are a godsend. Buy the wide size if you know you have wide feet, though. You won't regret your purchase.

I got the ones with the black bottom and silver upper leather. The leather is like butter and the footbed is cushioned with SAS usual wonderful footbed sole. These have to be the most comfortable sandals. They're a lot like the Huggies style and fit. I took my usual 8W and they fit perfectly. For reference in regular shoes I take between an 8-9 and usually a medium width. My feet are medium wide. But most medium widths fit me. Hope this helps. I would love to get the gold ones but they are very expensive shoes.

I HAVE bought this sandal again and again. In black, linen, brown, white and multigreen/blue. Completely comfortable and very walkable. Looks good, too. I have received many compliments and inquiries while wearing these sandals. Oh, and they last; I still have all the pairs I have bought over a span of at least 5 years.

My mother gave me a pair of these that she bought for herself, but they were too big. They fit me perfect! That was at least 20 years ago and I'm still wearing them. They are finally beginning to look like they are 20 years old, and as soon as I can save up the money, I'm going to buy another pair of them. They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. I just wish you gave senior discounts to help out us seniors on a fixed income.

A few years ago I purchased the Relaxed Heel Strap Sandal in the multisnake blue color in my usual 6 1/2 wide. These sandals are at the top of my list for comfort and I love the blue color. They have been durable, go well with jeans, denim, and other shades of blue, black and white clothing. I get a lot of compliments on how cute these sandals are. I have to add a 1 and 3/8-inch build-up on my right shoe. I was also diagnosed with plantar fasciitis & a heel spur, so a very good quality pair of shoes is an expensive and necessary investment to avoid pain, discomfort and complications. This is why I have been purchasing SAS sneakers, sandals and lace up casual shoes for about 30 years.

i'm a tall n big girl and was lookin for some comfortable sandals and i finally found some i have fell in love with lord jesus thank you so much for these sandals i'm around 6'3" tall and these sandals are wonderful i love the arch support they have i wish i could hug all the people that make these wonderful sandals i luv yall and god bless yall luv to u from a sweet n tall giant woman thank u jesus

i tell u what theres nothin better than these gorgeous womens sandals i love the arch support in them i just love puttin on my womens 3x denim pants and wearin my xtra thin socks with these beautiful sandals and yeah i wear socks with my sandals dont be a hater i like being feminine its a lot of fun if i was a woman i'd wear them all the time the SAS traveler blue leather walkin shoes are wonderful also made with real leather all i need is my blue leather lazy boy maverick leather recliner and cross my legs and be girly

This is my second pair of SAS sandals. My first pair was the Nudu Heel Strap in navy that I bought in 2015 or 2016 at Schuller's Shoes, a local chain store. I wore those pretty much daily from about April and even into November (with socks, since I live in MN). Several times weekly I'd take the dog for three mile walks and the sandals were very comfy. After 6-7 years of regular use, the Nudu sandals finally were shot. Over the last couple years I've periodically visited the SAS website and decided that my next sandals would be the Laguna Cross-Strap in olive gold or gold linen. On 5/9/2022 I decided to visit a neighborhood shoe store. I knew it carried SAS although it's a small store and likely didn't have a big selection. The choices were very limited and didn't include the Nudu or Laguna. My first choice of what was available wasn't in my size so I reluctantly asked about the Relaxed Heel Strap. The only color was "amber," a medium brown. It fit fine and felt very comfortable. Although I wasn't crazy about the color, i bought the shoes anyway. I also got them for $30 less than the listed price on the SAS site. I've worn them a few times now (including a 3-mile walk) and they are very comfortable so I'm pleased that I bought them.

Thank goodness there are still companies making quality products and recognizing that some people need extremely wide shoes. I ordered two other brands (which I returned) before finding these and I'm thrilled. Wide enough to accommodate my bunion and not having part of my foot hanging off the side of the shoe.

Love this sandal. This was my second pair. One for home in Massachusetts and a pair for condo in Florida. Podiatrist gave this sandal a five star rating.

I love these sandals but even the wide size feels a bit too small.

This is my 5th pair of shoes in this style. I have many foot problems and am a teacher on my feet all day. These shoes are the only shoes that I can wear all day without a problem. The day that I got my 1st pair of these shoes I wore them to Disneyland all day. My feet were comfortable, no pain and no blisters from trying to break them in. I would highly recommend these shoes to everyone!

I have a pair of these sandals that I have worn for the last 7 summers. My local SAS store closed down & I was thrilled to find these exact sandals on your website! I also have 2 other pairs of SAS shoes which I'm thrilled with. I have very wide feet & an EE size in other brands of shoes don't usually fit. These SAS shoes don't even require a "break in" period - they're pure comfort right out of the box!!

I bought these in black in 2012 when my local orchestra went to Austria to perform. I only took 2 pair of SAS shoes along. These were brand new, and never caused a problem from the moment I put them on! Comfortable with a Capital C! I am ordering these in the denim color now and will wear them this summer and ever after. I have an EEEE width shoe and these in extra-wide were "almost" too big.
