I decided SAS walk easy 6 medium was a good fit but I did not like the color. I really wanted white and the style was not for me. I usually wear SAS free time but for some reason the 5 1/2 wide is too wide, 5 1/2 medium to narrow. I have received the SAS free time mesh in 6 medium, white and have not worn them yet to see how the fit will be. SAS was easy to purchase but there 5 1/2 medium always fit, for over 10 yrs., now to narrow even in sandals.

Very comfortable walking shoe with nice roll as you walk forward. It seems like the Walk Easy is better for walking on flat surfaces, not for hiking as it does not have a lot of side-to-side stability. I would like a little higher support around the sides of the ankle as it seems a little loose even though I do tighten up the laces.

These are beautiful shoes; however, the toe box is stiff and hurt my toes. I almost kept them, but I have arthritis and don't want to go through the softening stage where my feet hurt for 6 months first.

It is always a huge challenge to find decent looking shoes that my plantar fasciitis-afflicted feet can wear for a lengthy period of time. Many "comfort" brands do not work; others are too unattractive. These shoes are appropriate for leisure as well as business casual, and seem like they will remain comfortable even after hours of being on my feet.

These are not the hottest style shoe, but they do deliver in stability and comfort. So I'm going to rock them! I got the sage which I thought would be good for heading into springtime. I feel very supported and would wear these over my sneakers going on walks or traipsing around anywhere. They are lightweight and easy to move in.

I hired a driver, to go to shoe store to try on as many brands of shoes possible because of the problems I am having finding a pair of shoes that fits and is comfortable. The store did not carry as too many different brands, as it is a small uniform shop. They did carry SAS shoes, and did carry this style. I normally wear a size 10 medium width, though I am on the upper edge of a medium width, but usually a wide width is too wide. I also have a narrow heel, and need excellent arch support. In the store I tried on a size 10 medium, but it was a bit too long, and not wide enough. I found one pair of size 9.5 wide to try on for comparisons, and the 9.5 seemed to fit alright. I came home and ordered the size 9.5 wide from Zappos. At first I thought these shoes were going to work for me, though I only wore them for short times on carpet, a couple of times, in case they didn't. It soon became evident to me, that the collar of the shoe was too high, and rubbed on the bottom side of my ankle bones. I tried putting a heel pad under the insole to raise up my foot, and give more room between the top of the shoe and my ankles bones. This only minimally helped, so sadly I needed to return these shoes, and continue my search. This pair of shoes also did not feel as wide as the pair I had tried on in the store, even though they were marked as a wide width. If it wasn't for the top of the shoe causing my ankle bones to be sore very quickly, I probably would have kept the shoes, and just stretched the toe area a bit. However, the soreness these shoes were causing with my ankle bones was a deal breaker. There was nothing wrong with this shoe. It just didn't work for my feet. My feet are sensitive, and I typically have difficulty finding shoes that have the arch support that I need, fit correctly and are comfortable. I have tried seven different brands of shoes and styles, and so far, all seven have needed to go back. I am extremely gratefully for Zappos' understanding and generous return policy. Thank you!

I so want to like these shoes, but the vamp is just too tight for my foot. Otherwise they were perfect. I tried for a week and decided I had better return them before I ended up with little toe problems....they were being smashed.

this shoe has great motion control and comfort. the narrow runs on the narrow side. reordered as medium but heel too wide. would recommend. for people who have knee issues. the insole prevents shock absorption and helps with knee pain.

I have Morton's Neuroma and these shoes are just the right amount of padding and tilt. My orthodics fit in the shoe well. So glad I finally found a shoe that works - and it's made in the US!

I was hoping these would be comfy and cute. They are comfy, but I don't find the style to be cute at all. Also, these had some scuff marks, as though they had been worn before. They're going back.

This is a good looking SAS shoe, but did not work for me because my right heel (the longer of my 2 feet) comes right up out of the back every time I step. I was so sad to send them back. I tried different sizes, but I think there is just something about my gait that demands more coverage at the back of the ankle to prevent walk-out. I didn't have any ankle pads to try, but it was so dramatic that I doubt that would have made a difference.

I love these shoes. The heel runs a little wide so that I had to wear a slender vs. my normal narrow, but overall, I'm pleased.

I have a hard time with SAS shoes. I seem to be between 2 sizes, which is very frustrating. I would LOVE to support an american company but for some reason I have this problem. My mom on the other hand LOVES SAS shoes & has about 6 pair and they wear like iron!

I really wanted to keep these, but they were a little too narrow, even on my "skinny foot." They probably would've been fine with thinner socks, but I don't even own any anymore.

I stand and walk around on concrete for 8 hours at work, so I got these shoes to help reduce foot pain. The shoes I had been wearing were made by an athletic sneaker company and they were comfortable for a couple of hours, but the soles just weren't sturdy enough to hold up to a full shift. I have bunions and low arches, so I need shoes with a roomy toe box and good arch support, also shoes that will accommodate my prescription orthopedic inserts. I've only worn these shoes once, but they are so much better than the other shoes I had been wearing that I bought a second pair. Sure, I spent a lot of money, but the cushioning materials last a lot longer if give them a break - kind of like people. My feet were still sore before the end of my shift, but not super-painful like with the other shoes. I am very satisfied with these shoes, and recommend them to anyone whose feet need a little extra support. I got my usual 8.5 wide and they fit great. The style is decent and doesn't look like something my great-grandma used to wear. I got the coffee and chocolate Nubuck and am pleased with both. I rated the shoes 4 stars, but may upgrade later after wearing them more.

these walking shoes look wonderful, but were really uncomfortable. They were very heavy on my feet and stiff at the ankle. I do like SAS shoes, but these were not good for my boney, narrow feet.

VERY NICE WELL MADE SHOES-EXCELLENT SUPPORT IN ARCH AND SOLES. BUT SIZE I CHOSE WAS TOO LONG AND SHOE FEELS A WEE BIT TOO HEAVY. I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE TURNED OUT IN THE SIZE DEPARTMENT-QUALITY IS SUPERB.

These shoes do not have any cushioning, or give in the outer soles. They are okay when you first put them on, but after spending a little time in them they are just too hard. I was able to put my orthopedic in without a problem, once I took the insole out. The insole is the only thing with cushioning. They are also a heavy shoe. These looked dressier than a sneaker, I'm disappointed they didn't work for me.

Really great shoes--my feet love them! Unfortunately, since I've had hip replacements, I can't wear anything w/ a higher heel than my Chaco sandals, so these will have to go back. Just feels like I'm tipping forward slightly. Sad!

These shoes are lovely and supportive however, the narrow size that fits my foot has heel support that is too confining and uncomfortable for my slim heels. A shoe horn would be good for putting them on.

I suffer with many foot issues -the biggest of which trying to alleviate is little toe pain. I FINALLY found the perfect shoe to achieve that. I constantly dealt with my little toes hurting and finding a shoe wide enough to eliminate that was a challenge for me....I finally found a solution in these shoes. I no longer deal with that constant pain...it is like walking around barefoot but with the support that my other foot issues require. Thank you SAS for a great shoe!

Although the shoe is very comfortable, I felt that it was a little too wide in the heel, so I will be returning it. My foot kept feeling like it was slipping out even though I was wearing socks and laced it up tightly. I also thought it looked a ittle more "clunky" than I was looking for.
