These have become my go-to work shoe for almost twenty years. I ran a retail store, so I was on my feet all day on hard floors. Having a size 14 narrow foot has made it difficult to find well fitting shoes of any style. I also have had issues with ingrown toenails, so my shoe can't too tightly in the toe area. The SAS TimeOuts really fit the bill. They're very comfortable and I can get them in a width that fit my narrow foot nicely. I alternate two pairs in different colors, and usually get 2-3 years out of a pair, so it's money well spent. My wife wishes they were a little more stylish, but I'm walking a line between style and fit. For me they do the job perfectly.

Great shoe, I needed to order 1/2 size up and it fit perfectly for my wide foot. Great space in the toe box, plenty of wiggle room. These shoes have wonderful soft leather, for dressy or casual attire.

I need to order men's sneakers because my feet are between a woman's 12 and 13. Zappos is fantastic about fast shipping and processing my money from returns back to the bank. Due to this I was able to try several sizes of SAS Time Out sneakers and settled on size 12. My toes have a squared off shape and the rounded toe box on the SAS Time Out was perfect. There is cushioning around the inside top of the shoe that added to the comfort and there was no rough piecing together of the leather to rub my feet. They also give me good balance as I walk over slanted uneven terrain. My feet do not hurt after walking for two hours. The style is basic but at this point in life I care more about comfort. I have several different shoes crafted by SAS and they have survived for many years, also feel better and better as they wear. Thank you Zappos and SAS!!!!

I have CMT and wear leg braces (AFO's) which slip into the shoe. I had to order a half size larger so that my braces would fit. I have been wearing this style of SAS shoe for the past 10 years as I find them to be the best when it comes to fitting my leg braces as they have the extra depth I need. The shoes wear very well and are well made.

I always avoided paying more than $100 for shoes, but theses are worth every penny. Like clouds hugging my feet

For me these have to much arch, so I am returning them.

I bought these shoes on recommendation from a friend, at the same time as a pair of Merrel's and a pair of Rockports. I have just moved to San Francisco proper and decided not to be bring my car, so I've been doing a lot of walking, and therein wanted shoes with good walking support. Of the three, the SAS were the best fitting/feeling "out of the box". Unfortunately, while not bad, their arch support for extensive walking is only middling. I found of the three the rockports provided the best support (as "scientifically" measured by how sore my feet tend to be at the end of the day). YMMV. I think they are good shoes, but I was really hoping for them to be *great* shoes.

The fit was great. No real need to break-in the shoe as the we’re comfortable on day one. I’m on my feet 10 hours a day and walk 6-8 miles, so I put them to the test every day. I got them in black too!

They’re lightweight, flexible, comfortable, with good support. I especially like the roll toe that isn’t a stiff sole platform.

Very comfortable shoe. I’m in retail and on my feet 8 to 10 hours on a shift. SAS is my new favorite.

My husband is a restaurant owner and is often on his feet 16 hours a day. These are the shoes he swears by! He really liked the gray color as that is more forgiving of stains. We ordered the shoes on Wednesday and they were here by Friday. He treated them that night and wore them to work on Saturday for a 16 hour day - right out of the box. The shoes have helped with back and leg issues so they are definitely worth the price.

These shoes were comfortable from the very start. For me, that was an unusual experience.

I *LOVE* these shoes. Have always worn the black color and decided to try the 'Antique Walnut' (brown) ones. Same superb comfort and fit, broke in in no time. I've been wearing these shoes for 10 + years, they make my unhappy knees happy, and my walking much more comfortable.

These shoes fit perfectly as soon as I put them on. Have not yet worn them all day, but I may even be able to wear them without orthodics

I have neuromas (both feet), and very high arches. Have been wearing these with custom orthotics. I like the fact that the heel is not too high, and the stack height is only of about 6 mm. I like them so far- its only been 1 day though. They seem to have good cushioning on the sole, and are comfy to walk in. So far so good!

Fits well Very comfortable. I am on my feet all day with my work. Hope they hold up have had only a few weeks

They fit and feel wonderful. I tried 2 other brands but they hurt my feet and I sent them back. These felt great right from the start. I wore them all day today and they still felt great at the end of the day. They are a bit pricey but American made and truly worth it.

High quality. Not the most attractive, but very comfortable.

Husband has been wearing this style for many years. He has hammer toes so must wear very wide shoes and a half size larger than would be his usual. They aren’t the most stylish but are long wearing and comfortable for him.
