Was going to replace my old SAS's with these. These are not of the same quality, in my opinion, and I've decided to have my old ones resoled and refinished, rather than buy these. SAS used to provide that service for their products, but unfortunately do so no longer, and I think that's a bad decision on their part.

I've been buying these shoes for awhile for my husband, I think he's owned about four or five pairs. He's always worn a 12 double wide. He says they are the best shoes for walking and standing. This time, the shoes felt narrower than usual. He tried them on different times of day (they say your feet are swollen at the end of the day), and he tried them on with very thin dress socks. They look narrower than the old pair too! Very disappointed.

Well, at first they fit me ok. Now after about 2 weeks, the width is very wide now. My feet tend to slide around inside of them now. Maybe if i doubled my socks they would fit me. Perhaps now a winter shoe with double socks???? I'll probably just junk them at this point as they are wide enough now where I could easily see twisting my ankle. I think I'll just to back to my Kswiss classics.

My other pair of SAS shoes fit fine but the same size and width in Time Out was too narrow. Now I have to return and reorder. Why is there no consistency? I hope the next width up fits better.

I was very disappointed with these shoes. I have 2 other pair of the Time Out series that I wear all the time but this pair is uncomfortable. They are so ridged that when I walk they clop or slap the ground. After a little while my knees hurt from the hard hitting of the sidewalk. I'm very disappointed because I was going to use this pair to do all my morning walk. I normally walk 2 miles up and down hills, but no with this pair. Sorry SAS, you missed the boat on these.

Runs narrow. Disappointing considering my other favorite shoes come from this store. Customer service has become slow and unresponsive as well. Very concerning and makes me question future purchases if it means dealing with a non existent CS department. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Not sure what's going on, but preparing to shop elsewhere if they're starting to cut costs (and quality).

The picture of the sole of this shoe that is shown is not what I received. The previous SAS Time Out shoes I had ordered had a criss cross pattern on the sole, this pair I received is a pebbly sole and does not have tread on it to keep you from slipping, so I am will be returning them. I believe SAS has changed the sole of this shoe and Zappos needs to show a picture of the current sole of this shoe.

The insole is unforgiving. I thought it would eventually be comfortable. After weeks of wearing the shoes, the insole is still hard; and my feet hurt worse than they did when I wore different shoes.

Oh man, these look worse in person. Unless your over the age of 80 do not buy these for the style. Regardless of comfort they may as well put Velcro on them.the picture is ok, but in person they are so ugly and old

I wanted to try a wide for my husband's shoes since he wears inserts. I ordered them on Sept 7. They were too wide. I printed out the return label,took it to the PO, and they would not accept it. Called Zappos. It had not printed out properly. They sent another email and it didn't print out correctly either. I am now waiting on a return label sent by mail. Have yet to receive it. This it Sept. 17. I was told I cannot get cash back it I go ahead and order the pair I want. It will only be credit to Zappos if I have to return them. There is a chance the second pair will not work,,so I am left waiting on a return label and then a week to get credit. At that time I can then reorder the shoes. Not what I had expected. It looks like it will be a month before I can get the second pair of shoes.
