This is my second pair of this particular shoe. The shoes are very comfortable and wear well. No break-in period needed.

Wide shoe design for relief from toe problems.

I've been wearing Time-Outs for many years and needed a new pair. No store nearby this time so ordered on-line and was very pleased with the service and ease of ordering. Did have to pay shipping (!) but still less than gas (and time) to drive to a store I reckon. The fit with SAS having my exact size need, rather than "close" is why I've only worn them for so long. Plus they are durable - I have one pair that's into 12 years now; look kind of rugged but use them for dirty/everyday use.

I have been wearing SAS TIME OUTS for approximately twenty years and I WILL NOT wear anything else I have chronic foot pain from a childhood accident that came back to haunt me at age 23 and TIME OUTS make a huge difference in my life and they are deep enough to comfortably hold the custom orthodics that I require where other shoes just don't have the room It's time for me to get some more shoes and of course I'm going to buy more SAS TIME OUTS The company has been wonderful to me for the entire time that I've been using TIME OUTS I recommend SAS TIME OUTS to anyone with foot problems and to anyone that requires cumbersome orthodics because of the depth infact I recommend them to anyone, they're awesome aswell as the company that makes them GREAT ALL THE WAY AROUND

SAS TIME OUT SHOES ARE LOUSY IF YOU WANT TO GO SWIMMING..KIDDING! THEY'RE ARE EVEN GREAT FOR DANCING. I HAVE TRIED MANY BRANDS FROM NIKE AIRS TO CORTEZ TO CLASSICS 80.00-125.00 AND NONE, NO NOT ONE COULD COME CLOSE TO THE COMFORT,WEAR AND DURABILITY. I WALK 10000 STEPS A DAY AT WORK AND FOOT FATIGUE GALORE BUT NOT THESE. I HAVE TO SAY EVERY MODEL IS GREAT. THE HULK OF SHOES IN DURABILITY. 9 YRS AND COUNTING WILL NEVER GO BACK TO CHINESE MADE PISSY SHOES.THANK YOU SAS AND KEEP EM COMING.

Great fit with just the right amount of good soft flexibility and plenty of toe room. Good for wearing whenever there's a lot of walking to be done. Light weight, very comfortable and your feet never feel tired and worn out.

I've worn SAS exclusively for decades and the Time Out is the best of the bunch!

My husband walks 18 miles a day and the SAS Timeout is the only shoe that he can wear all day and still walk at the end of the night without sore feet. I don't know what he would do, if you did not manufacture this shoe. He has been wearing this brand for at least six years.

I'm a physician. I've been wearing a pair of these, switching out with another pair of SAS shoes, for over 10 years -- the same pair! On my hospital days, in a huge metropolitan hospital, I walk (or run) about 7 miles going back and forth and up and down, including stairs when I have the time. I polish these shoes about once a week and they still look brand new, though the soles are starting to wear a little thin. I'm so glad they still make these! I'm ordering another pair right now. I hope the quality is still the same, and that they're still made in Texas.

I have been wearing this style for around 20 years. I believe I am on my 4th or 5th pair. I highly recommend this shoe. Extremely comfortable and high quality.

I work at a busy sports arena and theater where I am walking 6 to 16 miles every workday on concrete floors. I needed the cushion, fit, and lightweight durability that I found with the men's time out shoes. They are truly feather light and beautifully crafted. They give me enough stiffness in the sole to climb a small-rung ladder, and enough flex for comfortable stair climbing and general stooping, kneeling, etc... I wear a new pair for 2-3 years, then get another and relegate the old ones for doing yard work. I've tried all the brands and styles, and I haven't found anything even close to SAS. They are a little spendy, but they are so well made, they last as well as 4 pairs of lesser shoes. It's about the same cost. I also same a lot of time and gas not having to go hunting for shoes. TIME OUT!

I have been wearing these shoes for over 16 years. I am a nurse. I started having heel problems back then and I have no arches plus an injured lower back. These shoes have been a life saver. They are the most comfortable, durable, and reliable shoes I have ever found. I will never wear anything else again. I have tried others in the last 16 years that were highly recommended. They would not last over 6 months. It took almost 3 years for my last pair to wear out and I am on my feet 8-16 hours a day and sometimes 7 days a week!
