I am a 3rd grade teacher. I travel with my laptop daily. I like the bag's low profile. This features allows me to move quickly without bumping people on the train. I am very happy with my purchase!

I've been using this bag for about a month and really pleased with it. It's durable. Large enough to hold all my things and stay organized.

I bought this back back prolly about 2 years ago. I bike everyday to and from work and the backpack keeps my laptop and other electronics dry. There is a design flaw with the zippers, it leaks when it's raining and could have the potential to get some things wet depending on how long you're in the rain. Also, since I live in the desert there has been some sun damage to the outer coating that helps keep water out. The coating has cracked along the top of the bag, near the zipper. Since it's cracked, water now leaks into the bag. I have a waterproof laptop case and that solved the issue. Other than that the backpack is worth the money. I like it a lot.

By far the best backpack I've owned.
Its design is simple, understated, and practical.
It hugs the back from top to bottom instead of the traditional 'sack design' which feels more like wearing a giant grocery bag with a low center of gravity that slides around annoyingly as you're on the move.
The design maximizes vertical storage which makes for a more balanced carry and a better look.
The shell is not waterproof but adds more rain protection than most.
The carry handle is strong and I never worry about the stitching coming undone when I hoist thousands of dollars worth of electronics around.
I wish there was another color option for the interior. I also wish the fabric on the shoulder straps was more substanntial. It shows no signs of coming apart, but it is thin.
I cannot express how happy I am with the profile of it. It has the best lines of any backpack I know.
Overall this is my favorite backpack and I would purchase it again instantly if it was lost or stolen. I have carried it every day since I bought it.

Because of the "Bring your own Bag " policy in most supermarkets in nyc, this bag helps alot when I'm shopping for minimum things for myself.

I've had this backpack for three years. I used it first in Florida as a backpack to travel to and from work on my bicycle. It rains a ton in FL, and a lot of times you have almost no warning. This backpack got me through every rain storm while keeping my clothes and computer dry. For the past two years I have used it as a service tech in NYC. On and off the subway everyday and in all weather conditions, even heavy rain and snow, I've not had one problem. My laptop and tools (some are electronic) have stayed dry and protected. The backpack is a tad heavy, but I put 40 lbs of tools in it, so that's on me. That being said, it is still ergonimic and comfortable enough for me to walk and ride around manhattan for eight hours a day and only have sore shoulders at the end of the day. But again, I have 40 pounds of tools in the backpack, so that's on me.

Overall this is the best backpack I have ever owned. I have never owned a backpack from The North Face, but I was aware their packs had always been the go-to for college kids. I wanted the functionality and reliability of a classic NF backpack but I am a photography major and I needed a backpack that would be suitable for commuting as well as something that would store my laptop, cords, iPad, and sometimes my camera with of course other books and supplies. I have had this backpack for 2 years and it has held up extremely well and still looks brand new. It has been through 2 Minnesota winters, dragged across the floors of public buses, dusty college floors, and tossed into overhead storage on many airplanes. I really like the amount of pockets and how they are separated from the main compartment. I use the two small mesh pockets in the front for my MacBook charger, AirPods, dongles, and iPhone charger and it all fits like it was designed for it. The tablet pocket fits an iPad Pro perfectly and the small front pocket is perfect for your phone/keys/wallet. The water bottle pockets on the side don't stretch but they can still accommodate a 32oz water bottle. My only complaint is that I wish the main compartment was a bit roomier. If you're planning to fill the organized panel with bulky cords it's easy to run out of room in the main compartment because it slants in at the bottom. I would not recommend this backpack if you will be carrying multiple large textbooks. It gets very heavy and very full quickly. But if you are a student that has digital textbooks or no textbooks this will probably be perfect for you.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he is in love with it. He likes how comfortable and well made the bag is. He commutes to work and brings quite a bit of stuff with him and his bag tends to be very heavy. The bag keeps its shape despite the weight added and the support is well made so he says his bag doesn't feel as heavy as it is. He doesn't worry about putting his computer in the bag and dropping it. He enjoys all the pockets but said it could use a couple more in the main compartment. He loves how the bag looks and says the leather finish is perfect. He also commented saying that the lighter yellow Color for the inside of the bag makes it easier to find his items.

It is great because of the slick exterior design and great interior storage space. What's not so great about it Is the weather outside that will wear quickly. The exterior leather will get wet and it will not be good for the leather.

I use it for everything. Surfing, school, traveling for overnight trips, it does it all. I feel like a rockstar when I wear it and the matte black finish is insane.

I travel and hike a lot so I wanted a backpack to hold majority of my electronics (GoPro, portable charger, laptop, camera, etc.) All I can is this backpack is roomy and this is only the standard size! I just went snowboarding at Mammoth and this backpack was so useful. I would definitely recommend buying a waterproof cover for this backpack regardless of it being waterproof BECAUSE you should take care of this backpack and prevent it from getting scratches :)

Im a teacher and football coach. I'm always on my feet and always on the go so comfort is important. This checks all those boxes. I just wish the bottle pockets were bigger to fit my hydroflask.
