I originally thought the Kaban was too large with it first arrived, but it has turned out to be perfect. The bag is light weight and the straps well designed to distribute weight, so the bag feels much smaller than it has. The extra space has also come in handy several times when I need to pack clothes for the weekend. I was able to fit all my clothes in addition to my regular school supplies. The cushioned back design to allow airflow also feels firm yet comfortable by preventing my backpack from sliding around on my back and keeping my back cool when I rush from class to class.

While this pack looks very simplistic from the outside, when you open it up it has it all. The perfect organization plenty of pockets and the perfect computer sleeve lifted from the bottom so it stays protected if set down hard or dropped and well padded. The clean lines keep it dry and give it that classic clean look while hiding all the technology.

This is a replacement for a wheeled bad for travel. I got tired of trying to stuff my bag under the seat. This one is the size I need to fit under the seat and still carry what I need. Since it is comfortable to carry and wear, it makes my traveling easier and more fun.

I have been using TNF packs for long haul backpacking and travel for over 20 years and the Kaban doesn't disappoint. It's great for work travel and commuting (my reason for purchase), and with it's sleek compact design it's perfect for air travel. My MacBook Pro, iPad, notebooks and coat (not to mention all the various cables) easily fit with room to spare. I would highly recommend this pack to professional commuters.

Excellent design, stylish and can fit a bunch of stuff. Use it for work, leisure travel, backpacking. Love the water bottle compartments on the sides that are deep and can fit bigger bottles too. Very comfortable even when fully loaded. Great job TNF!!

I just bought this backpack for my boyfriend since his old one was worn down. This was definitely an upgrade. We looked through it together and decided it was the best backpack he could've gotten for college. There's so much room, one zip for books and such, and another zip for your technology (laptop, tablets, iPad). The accessory compartment is cool too since there's even a place to put your phone and an elastic band you pull to take the phone out. Kinda pricey, but pretty neat backpack!

I use this backpack for commuting and have not been disappointed. I had a rather large backpack before, and was able to fit 99% of my stuff into the Kaban. It has a slim design which is great for travel, and there is a great deal of storage in the main compartment. Highly recommend this!!!
The only downside, and this is minor for me, is that the laptop compartment may be small for larger laptops. I have a small Dell (13" and slim) so it may be tight if you have a lot in the main compartment.

I use this bag for when I travel and for school, it's awesome. I have gotten plenty of comments about how cool it looks. Definitely recommend if you are not one who needs to carry around a lot of things.

I bought this backpack for school and so far I'm not disappointed. It has a sleek look and fits everything I have (tons of books) lessening the strain on my back.

Great quality, stylish and simplicity. Great support on the shoulders. The pockets are thoughtfully lay outs. One of reason I pick this bag because harder for pickpocket In the public.

i love it. its a lot bigger than i was scared of based on the pictures and unzipping the pockets will take some getting used to but this bag is already a huge part of my life.

Absolutely love this pack. It's got three compartments, which may or may not be clear with the pictures. One small one for a 15" laptop, a large one for books/clothes/food, and then a smaller one on the front for whatever you made need.
I love the fact that the water bottle pockets are large enough for a 32oz water bottle. Plenty of space inside.
Since I've only owned the pack for a month now, I don't really know how durable it is, but as of today it feels like it should last quite a while.

This bag is pretty solid. I use it for work, and it's perfect (hold a lot, not too big, not too small, stuff sits well in it). It's great for commuting on the bike. I even used it as my only bag for a weekend trip that I had fly to. The only thing is that it does take a little getting used to because it's a tad different of a layout than a traditional bag.

This backpack can allocate tons of stuff without getting uncomfortable to wear. The spine support is top notch and allows for excellent weight distribution. It seems to be designed to not get in the way once is full so it's good (for eg.) for riding a bus without taking it off.

The bag looks great, has super nice materials, a lighter colored inside to see all well and is sleek. Other than the zipper placement(2nd pocket), nailed it!

Good quality bag. The only thing I dislike about the bag is the way it's shaped. It's doesn't allow you to put much stuff inside the big compartment.

I'm in an executive graduate program and work full time in a professional office. I often work on schoolwork on my lunch break. I wanted a professional looking bookbag to carry schoolwork in. I'm a 5'4 female and I finally admitted to myself i prefer a backpack for general ergonomics as well as for air travel. Carrying everything I needed in a satchel or briefcase just became unwieldy. It can also be a pain to carry a heavy bag wearing a skirt and heels. This backpack is far more comfortable. It is an attractive, low profile pack and a fraction of the price a leather pack would be. The pack is comfortable to wear.
My laptop has 15" screen and it comfortably and securely fits. It is very well protected.
My only complaint is the pleather-looking material has some scratches from use, and I am a gentle user.
