Hands down. The best cycling to gym to office pak I've had... went Through a few. Sold my whip went full bike. And this back pack kept me from putting a basket on my bike.

I bought this for my son who is a sophomore in high school. The laptop pocket is very protected, lots of room for books, extra shoes and his lunch. He really likes the deep water bottle pockets - they don't fall out like his last backpack. Very well made...worth the price!

Love the appearance and style of the backpack. Love the fact that it has so many pockets and compartments, so as to not have everything all over the place. Has not yet been used, but will be using it throughout the next few months for travel out of the country.

I use this bag everyday. The features are great and it's good for just about every kind of activity. Lots of compartments for your laptop, phone, tablet, books, etc. as well as hidden zippers and pouches. Looks really good too. I highly recommend!

My son had been searching for a "cool" looking backpack, that was sleek in design but practical and functional for school. He is able to fit a small laptop, books, food/water bottle and a change of clothes into the Kaban. My boy is growing fast and the Kaban fits him well at 5'5" and should grow with him for years. He loves the way it looks with "hidden" zippers and the ombre color effect.

Another great backpack from TNF. I previously owned the Surge, but found it was too big for what I needed it for so I was looking for something more sleek and compact, and that's exactly what this pack delivers. There are a few things I miss from the surge, though. I like the laptop compartment on the Kaban, but I really miss the fleece lining. Besides that, it's a great pack!

I carry 2 1.5 inch binders, 2 notebooks and a small lunch bag along with a lab coat for school and it all fits, even with a water bottle in the side pocket. Would definitely recommend as a stylish option, but not if you want to carry a ton of large textbooks. I would definitely feel safe keeping a laptop without a protective sleeve in the device compartment because the quality of the structure is definitely there.

Simple clear lines draw attention to the design of this bag which makes it look very stylish. Roomy for the style and looks good. Quality also looks pretty good. Zippers are smooth and appear well made.

This bag is amazing, perfectly designed with amazing zipper quality. The bag has plenty of space for a laptop, tablet, umbrellas, specialized compartments for items like chargers, pen holders, sunglass pouches, basically anything you would ever need whether you're going to school or on a vacation. The bag in the olive green color also looks and feels amazing on the back. Doesn't strain your back and is actually one of the most comfortable backpacks I've ever owned. Would definitely recommend to anyone for any purpose. Great buy!!!!

As a professional I really like the organization of the bag and the adaptability of the bag. Monday-Friday business and weekends it's my camera bag.

Great for traveling for a couple of days, as well as daily commute. Very comfortable straps, and the padding keeps my back cool.

I use the kaban daily in college. The backpack is very durable and comfortable for routine use. It is very practical as it easily fits my books, laptop and gym clothes while providing comfort through back support which north face is so famous for.

I was looking for a daypack and also versatile enough for a short trip. I had originally looked at Patagonia for their rugged duffel bags and backpacks made from the same rugged material, but found that there weren't enough pockets for holding/compartmentalizing all my things. The Kaban definitely had the pockets I needed to separate cables, chargers, keys, and other items all while staying relatively slim and easy to access. I do wish that the main compartment was a little bigger, but maybe I should've gone for the Kabig in that case. The white exterior seems to be holding up well, holding off scuffs and scrapes with just a little bit of soap and water.

I owned the last version of this bag but wanted a new one to travel with. Pleasantly surprised with the new design. Nothing wrong with last years model. Like how easily it stands up on its own.

I purchased this bag for my husband. He rides husband bike to work and needed a lightweight and comfortable bag with enough room for something clothing and shoes.

Best small back I've owned. It's lightweight and slim - yet deep so you can fit lots of gear including your MAC or tablet. Longer and slim turns out to be much better than short and fat. It fits all that gear neatly and even tucks in nicely under an airplane sit. It is longer but that makes it actually makes it more form-fitting and comfortable. Great design and great look.

It's impressive, once I got a look at it I was in love, the main compartment has a lot of space and fitted all the things I use for my work like a glove, I'm kinda disappointed I couldn't find any waterproof bag to use in the city, there's only one backpack and doesn't really appeal in that way.

I am a designer and mainly bough it for the beautiful minimal aesthetics but it exceeded my expectations when it came to utility and comfort, by far the best backpack I've owned.

I use this bag for commuting to the office and gym. I like that it does not feel/look bulky especially when riding on public transit and that I can squish my gym clothes and sneakers into the bag and still put my laptop in the separate compartment. Can't say how it will hold-up over time, but initial quality seems good.
