For at least fifteen years, I've been a fan of and have purchased many pairs of Havaianas Flip Flops. Just this week, I purchased another pair of the "Top Tiras" style, but ending up having to exchange due to a sizing issue. Zappos, being their awesome Zappos selves, rushed me a new pair in the next size up, which fit properly. While thrilled with my new Metallic Steel colored flip-flops, I was still confused. So I decided to try stacking the brand new pair, together with other older pairs that also fit. What I discovered was that although they were all "physically" the same size, each of the size markings were ALL DIFFERENT !! Next I emailed Haviaianas for clarification - explaining to them my confusion. What came back to me from the Customer Service Team was verification that there has been more than one Size Conversion Chart over the years, including one that listed US sizes for Men only and said to be sure to use only the most current size chart for 2017, available on their website. Bottom Line, sizing is crazy and confusing. These are the most basic guidelines for ordering, also provided to me by Havaianas, which after all my back & forth, I highly recommend: - Always know your Brazil size as this size is always consistently marked on all our sandals - Disregard the US sizes marked on our sandal foot beds and hang tags - Do not mind the Euro sizes To put the craziness in perspective, I am considered a US Size 9/10 in women's Havaianas; but I am and have been for most of my living years, a 7-1/2 or 8!!

Love Haviannas and have worn them for years but the strap is way too big now...the sandal flops around when walking. Had to return for a smaller size and the strap on the smaller one wasn't much better. Miss the old design!

I use those since I started walking. One pair after another. They were all white with a choice of 4 colored straps. Today, more than 40 years after my first pair, I have 8 pairs, one of each color and style, but no doubt, the classic, original style is by far the most comfortable. It's not easy to find this one in stores in the USA.

i have 5 pairs of havaianas... i am a women's size 8.5-9, and buy the havaianas size 39/40 .they are the only flip flop i will buy. the rose gold metallic is pretty...a very soft rose gold. not super pink. for some reason, this pair took some breaking in, as the "t" part of the strap was cutting into my foot. i had never had this happen before with my other havaianas. was ready to send them back, but they seemed to straighten out. i think it may be due to how they are packed, the strap gets twisted.

I've been wearing this brand and style since they were first avaiable. I buy them in twos--that is, two pairs at a time--so when one shoe breaks, I have a new partner for it. This is my favorite style, because it's not wobbly. I walk a mile every evening in them and feel as if I'm barefoot. If you like flip flops, these are the ones to have. I wear them in the shower; I wear them for dress-up, especially in the silver. Stores never carry this style anymore. Rather they carry the thin-strap version. I don't like them, though they're pretty on the feet. They're just not stable, and I can't afford to fall at my age. FYI: Zappos' website has a better selection of Havaianas than the Havianas website has.

I purchased my first pair summer 2017. Within 2 months, the shoe fell apart. I contacted Zappos and they replaced them at no charge. I don't use my flip flops outside of the warmer months so there is not excessive wear and tear on them. I just got the same exact break on the shoe. I contacted the Havaianas directly and was told they only cover 1yr. Although they are cute and comfy, just be prepared to get shorter lifespan out of them. I guess I was just expecting more since they are on the pricey side for plastic flip flops.

I am mixed on these. I do like a sturdy flip-flop and I like that these are rubber instead of foam. However, the straps are odd on these. I had to return a few pair before I got it right, and even then on one shoe the strap flips outward in an unnatural way. Perhaps it will remedy over time. I use these just for the beach and they're perfect for that.

I'm really pleased with these. I wear a 91/2 narrow, but the 9 medium worked well enough. The little bit of copper shine looks really nice with a swimsuit. It adds a touch of femininity, without being over the top.

Great flip flop. Has more cushion than the slim model from this brand.

I am a true size six and they are due to their size these flip-flops are so beautiful. The color is gorgeous. They’re still in the bag I haven’t open them. These are for next summer and I only paid $12 for them. Thank you Zappos.

Very comfortable and well padded especially for the bottom of your feet. I have multiple pairs and use them to shower and as my slippers.

Very Supportive. Zappos has always gotten the best prices, the best versions of each sandal...even if they're on sale. They have high standards in retailing the correct shoe versions so I keep coming back and I feel I get more than my money's worth. Thank you.

Supportive and thick top strap with a hint of shimmer to dress them up. Just what I was looking for to elevate my pool look!

Haviaianas are THE classic, comfortable flip-flops! I wear a size 7.5 - 8 shoe, and the 37/38 size fits perfectly. My foot is rather wide and I have a high arch and "tall" instep, and these flip-flops accommodate my feet very well. Although there technically isn't an arch support, these are very comfortable and cushy. I already had a couple of pairs of the "Top" style, and the "Top Tiras" are sized the same and offer a little glitz for my flip-flop wardrobe.

These wider strap Havaainas are perfect for me! Super cute, super comfy, easy to step in and out of. I have this style in 3 colors and got 2 of the bronze ones!

I love this classic Havaiana style and this color is particularly sweet. Rose gold with pink soles-perfect for summer!

In shoes I always wear women’s 10. I ordered the women’s 11-12. Fit just like my size 10 ‘s in other shoes( length). In fact, Zappos at first sent me the wrong size mistakenly ( women’s 9-10). They were WAY too short . They’d fit a 9 person but not a 10. Bottom line - size up unless you’re on the lower end. If you’re a 10, do not buy 9-10. The 11-12 fits a size 10 person perfectly.

Ordered these steel gray Havaianas and they're a perfect color! They're neutral and match everything. I wear a full 10, if not 10.5 size shoe and ordered a women's 11/12. They're a perfect size and my heel is within the edge, without a huge space leftover. The straps also fit nicely, not loose and not tight.

I love Havainas although I must specify it's the "top" ones I like, not the "slim." If you want a thicker, more cushiony sole and a wider, roomier surface, get the top style. The straps are a little wider too. I have to return this particular pair though because for some reason the straps are way too loose, its kind of a defect I think because I have other size 11s in Havainas tops and the straps fit ok.

These are my only brand of flip flops now. Excellent support. I have four colors and would like more if they were available. I still wear my first pair purchased 4, maybe 5 years ago!

My second pair of Havaianas. Not too narrow for wider feet, no overhang. Comfortable with no rub anywhere. Love these affordable but respectable looking flip flops.

Very happy with these! Perfect color, comfortable, and a welcome addition to my flip flop wardrobe. Only downside is no arch support, but then again they are flip flops, so…??

Excellent! These weren't marked extra wide, but I'm delighted that they are. They're also soft and light. Pretty colors, too.
