The shoe was imperfect

The straps were super wide. So wide that they felt dangerous just walking in my house.

CRazy sizing. The 6/7 was too small, the 8/9 was too big. Usually don’t have issues with sizing. Had to send back

purchased size larger as other reviewers mentioned and worked. the problem with the silver pair is one of the sandals had defective thing part, the strap stayed permanently bent.

What has happened?! I have worn this flip flop style for years. I have in 3 colors currently and reorder about once a year when the plastic strap breaks through. For $20ish dollars, I'm more than happy to order again. BUT, this pair, something seems to have changed. The strap is longer and now awkwardly sticks up and allows for too much foot movement when I walk. AND the length is a full 1 centimeter smaller. I lined up with my exact same pair. I'm guessing manufacturing has changed. So bummed, I will have to figure out my new size and if any other ones will work...

I've been buying the same size Havaianas for decades and I love them. Although these say ladies 9/10 on the flip flop, these are about 3/4" shorter than all of my other 9/10's. These are more like a 7/8. Manufacturing issue, not just mislabeled!

I have another pair of Havaianas in same size and they fit fine. These were half to full size shorter. My heel was hanging off back.

Ordered 2 pair to wear mainly in the house. Length and width of platform is good. Straps are wonky and if you normally wear a narrower shoe, probably not your best choice. Straps make them sloppy to wear.

I am so disappointed! I have worn Havaianas Top for years and love them like crazy. I have expensive flip flops of all sorts, but if I have a lot of walking to do, I wear my trusty Havs. They are so durable, last for years and so comfortable; I put many, many miles on them. I bought these in my usual size, brazilian 37/38, which equates to size 8 in my former pairs and has always been perfect. However, this pair is about 1/4" shorter, just enough to make them too short. Add to that the fact that the straps don't lie flat, the edge digs into my feet and looks weird. I tried warming them with my hair dryer and then wearing them around the house; no effect whatsoever. Back they go, sadly. Maybe it's the Top Tiras style that's the problem. I'll try the plain old Top style and hope for the best.

I think I got confused by the sizing. These were a size too small. I wear an 8.5 or 9 but these were way too small, so I returned them. I ordered a different time/same size and they did fit. So I just recommend double checking the size before you order. Other than sizing issues, these flip flops are very stylish and comfortable!

The straps are way too think and came warped. Uncomfortable on the feet.

I am so disappointed. I love Havianas and have owned many. But now the straps are too long on the flipflops. What is going on? I keep having to return a pair and try another model.

Straps way way too long and wide. What happened?

This was probably my 10th pair of Top Tiras, and this size has always fit perfectly. Unfortunately the thong part (that goes between your toes) on these shoes was way too long, causing them to be very loose on my feet. I even tripped a couple of times! Hope this isn't a new design.

Unfortunately the straps on these are gigantic (too long). They are so long that there was a full 2" of space between my foot and the strap. And I have wide feet with high arches!

Hurt between my toes and straps too loose. Returning.

this sizing is way off. i got a 7-8 us womens and it fits more like a 6. and the strap is way too wide. returning. :(

I do not agree with prior reviewers...these are true-to-size. The Slim Flip Flops straps looked right to me. The You Metallic Flip Flops and the Top Tiras Flip Flops were also true-to-size. For comparison, however, the You Metallic Flip Flops strap felt too hard/cord-like to me, and seemed like it would be uncomfortable to wear for long. The Top Tiras Flip Flops straps were very wide, and had "havaianas" in very visible script on the strap; they lost their "metallic" panache, and just looked like cheap plastic. I typically wear size 9; I kept the Slim Flip Flops in size 39/40.

These fit small so I always order a 39/40, though I wear an 8. This time around, one sole was much thicker than the other- weird. Exchanging, hoping the next pair was cut correctly.

After wearing these a handful of times indoors the strap broke off from the back fastener. This is the second pair of Havaianas that this has happened. Waste of money!

The straps were so big!! What happened to my beloved Havaianas? Been wearing for years and had to return. Beyond bummed!

The straps were hard plastic and flipped inward, these cut into my feet. I would not recommend these as they are a health hazard.

The rubber sparkly uppers on these are so much wider than my other Havaianas, they fell off my feet. Maybe this was just a defective pair? Shame because they're a really pretty color.
