I really liked the look and feel of the shoe a great deal. The heel support was a bit off on one of the shoes so I returned it for another pair which worked out perfectly!! I also purchased white shoestrings and removed the ones the shoe came with as they were a bit beige in color. Overall, very nice!!

The overall fit was good though the heel was a bit loose, I can deal with that as I wear socks with these shoes. The quality of the shoes is excellent—as expected from Ecco, soft leather with no break-in needed, super comfortable straight out of the box. The look of the shoes is definitely Euro chic and so much better than the average walking shoe. I will have happy, stylish feet walking my dog in the city. One small downside for me personally is the weight; at 11 oz per shoe vs my usual 4 or 5 oz Merrell Vapor Glove the shoe feels clunky, but I can deal. And Zappo, your service is outstanding. Thank you.

Lovely shoe, but very narrow for medium and a bit short

Since I retired a couple of years ago, I'm tending to favor comfort over style. However, after pretty much living in a pair of black Asics sneakers for the past year, I decided I'd better up my game a bit. I found the black Ecco soft sneakers with the white sole a bit too contrast-y for my taste, and as cute as they look in a size 6, they aren't so cute in my size 10. However the black ones with black soles are great. I have the comfort of a sneaker with the upgraded look of the nubuck upper. Good arch support, good fit, happy shopper.

Absolutely beautiful shoe but not nearly enough padding under the ball of the foot, which for my foot type is something I need. Very stylish!

They're cute and I like that the insoles are removable so that I could place my orthotics in. Bottom of my feet didn't hurt when wearing them...BUT. The tongue or something rubs on the top of my feet (might also be my no-show socks, but maybe not) and created blisters & bleeding at the top midfoot. Ow!

I previously reviewed the green (warm grey) shoes, and I liked them enough to order the white ones, too. Fit and comfort are still good. Ended up returning the white due to the color. They are a dirty white shade. They contrast noticeably if you're wearing a white shirt. The laces are beige, and if you don't like them, you can't swap them for white laces because then the shoelaces will be way brighter than the shoes. They are also not nubuck, same as the green ones. No where on the box does it say nubuck. You can look up pictures of the nubuck shoes Ecco does offer, and they look quite different. Conversion between European and US sizes seems to be off. 41 fits like a 9.5 to 10.

I am pleased with this Ecco Soft Sneaker. The fit is perfect and looks very attractive. Zappos did recommend 7-7.5, but these turned out to be too large and had to be replaced with the 6-6.5. A great purchase with the usual quick turnaround from Zappos shipping.

Like the other reviews this show is narrow. It was Ok for me since I normally a medium width. Previously I owned the Chase II walking show model which didn’t look as nice but had more room width wise. I think my new shoes will be perfect once they stretch out a bit.

Marine color is not even close to blue. It is mid to dark gray. Did not keep because I was looking for blue.

These sneakers were snug and comfy except for a strange bump on the sole just below the toe joints that really bothered me. They were not as cushy as the Ecco Soft VII.

Nice-looking shoe, but the heel slipped up and down on my narrow foot. Also, for my purposes I liked the Nike shoes I had gotten in the same order.

These are a fun, casual shoe to wear with jeans or shorts. The color is a little unexpected without being too flashy. Ecco is my go to shoe for every day. Very comfortable and these don’t disappoint.

Love these but they are too narrow. First time in my life a medium width hasn't worked. I will try wide if they have it.

I love my Ecco Gillian and Ecco Fara, but these Ecco sneakers are too tight and too short! They are very good looking! They look expensive.

I ordered these to replace a similar ECCO pair I loved. This slightly redesigned shoe is a bit shorter and does not have the full leather sole and inside of the other pair. Disappointed, they are a bit too short so am returning.

The toe box was not high enough. I got a size larger than I usually get, hoping that the toe box would be big enough. It wasn't. The heel was too loose. I loved the shoes and wished I could wear them.

Loved the look and comfort of these shoes, but they were closer to a 6 than 6.5 and the color was a little too gray.

The toe cap on these Ecco sneakers is just uncomfortable for right foot. Not as comfortable overall as soft sneaker 7.

Such a comfortable shoe that borders on cute--somehow Ecco's 'White' is drab, like a white tee shirt was washed with darks. Disappointing because anyone who has "bad feet" with lots of issues like me wants a cute sneaker! I was going to keep the shoe even though they're a dirty white, but the lack of detail -- stitching or a cap toe would turn this into a less geriatric style; please note this, Ecco! -- makes them only so-so. I have these same shoes in black though; very comfortable and easy to get around in. Thank you, Zappos, for being awesome about fast delivery and easy returns!

I wanted a pair of sneakers that had a lower profile than my usual running shoes, but still something comfortable. I can't say these are the greatest in that department, but I kept them because I like the way they look and they are more comfortable than a regular shoe. They are very narrow and run small so I had to order the next size up. I have narrow feet so they're ok, but if you are a true medium width, these will not fit. Nice quality but I expect that at the price.

I love the look of these but I'm mad at myself that I didn't send them back right away. They are way too small and I killed my feet after wearing them for a day. I bought shoe stretchers and left them in for 24 hours. That helped a little but not enough to wear them again.

Nice looking but hurt across the top of my toes whenever I bent my foot (i.e. with every step!) Returning them.

Just did not like the style....More of a "work" shoe than a sneaker ...Just looked too clunky for me. I have other shoes by ECCO that tie and look more feminine.

Love the weight, leather, style and look of these sneakers....ordered size up--still too small...and there seemed to be a lack of cushioning in footbed--ball of foot area!...surprising for Ecco's...arch support seemed to be good but farther toward rear of shoe than expected... Must send back, regretfully because they are gorgeous!
