Probably some of you, like me, have already noticed these beautiful shoes and are hoping for reviews to make a decision. I took the plunge and ordered them before reviews were really out there. I personally returned mine just because I am more used to the arch position in brands such as Dansko, Chaco, and Naot. I have never owned Aetrex before and on me personally the arch doesn't feel quite right since it's further back and a little bit hard. I think if you got used to it, it's probably just fine. I would encourage anyone to try these shoes, though. The arch position is just a personal preference, and if they are ever on sale I may buy them later again anyway. I can tell they are well made and they are REALLY pretty. It was tempting to keep them and I may eventually re-purchase. I just love the look of them. One little surprising detail is that everything is a velcro closure. The ankle strap is only made to look like a regular latch but it is actually velcro, so these are completely adjustable. Give them a try!

I think these may be lovely shoes but not in the size I ordered! They come in European sizes where a 40 is analogous to a 9-9.5. I wear a size 9 but these are at least 1/2-to-a full size too big, even with all the great strap adjustments. The arch feels so great, though, that I'm going to take a chance and order the 39, which is supposed to be the same as an 8.5. (Can anyone tell me why a 40 is the same as a 9 OR a 9.5 but a 39 is ONLY an 8.5? Somewhere in this sizing scheme, there are half-sizes being lost!)

These sandals are beautiful! The gold is a soft shade, not brassy and they are 2 way adjustable. I have very narrow heels so they rubbed on my heels ... think they should fit most people with a medium width foot and proportionate heel width.

Now that I got the smaller size (8.5 instead of 9-9.5), I'm very happy! I can wear these without my orthotics because the great arch support does what my orthotics do--keeps me from pronating. Yay! Style with comfort and support is hard to find--but these fit the bill!

This sandal fit perfectly!! I struggle with plantar fasciitis, but this sandal has a lot of arch which helps me a lot. It may be too high of an arch for the average person, but works great for my overpronation!!

I have tried 6 other pairs of shoes for my trip to Europe. Finally this pair of Aetrex Brenda seems to fit just right. The other comfort sandals that I had tried, by Naot, Born and Vionic, did not hold my foot back, even if I could tighten them with the velcro straps. This pair, upon trying on, is comfortable and my feet are staying in the bed of the shoe. I hope that they prove to be comfortable for my trip.

Fabulous through spring, summer & now into the fall a few days here in the south! Incredibly comfortable and kept my feet from getting achy as we walked all through several cities. Amazing!! I'm an Aetrex believer now! Wish they would make even more stylish shoes...their offerings are limited but seriously the best shows I've ever owned - comparing Vionic, Eileen Fisher & other good brands.

Oh Aetrex, where have you been all of my life? These are the CUTEST and most perfect sandals. I thought that I was doomed to wear grandma shoes for the rest of my life because of my overpronation, but, VOILA! There's Aetrex. They are pricey, but worth every penny. Now, every time I have some $$$, I will only buy Aetrex. I think it's better than Vionic and/or Dansko, which are the brands I usually buy. Keep it up, Aetrex; keep making GOOD and good-LOOKING shoes!

I have purchased these in the black and the light gold and loved them both. The style is so adorable, the blush color is really pretty and has such great detail on the back of the heel. I wore them all day right out of the box and they have great arch support for my planters fasciitis. However I had to return these the arch was just slightly higher than the other two pairs. :(

This is the most awful shoe! It's too large and the color (light gold) is not at all pretty. I have lots of Aetrex shoes and this shoe is just far below their standards regarding sizing and color and comfort. Stick with the Jillian and the Cheryl for quality Aetrex sandals with good support and consistent sizing.

These are the BEST sandals EVER!!! Not only are these sandals beautiful, but they are the only sandals I can wear day after day and feel NO PAIN from my plantar fasciitis issues. They are made of quality leather and no memory foam for this bed...YEAH!!! I hope Aetrex keeps this sandal as an ongoing "staple" in their inventory!! ps I own three of these sandals, so far :)

Beautiful shoe. Ran large. Usually wear a 9 and purchased the 9 to 9-1/2. Had to return.

I am a 7.5 D width. This is my second pair of Aetrex shoes and won’t be my last. I have plantar fasciitis but get so much relief from Aetrex shoes. This sandal is easily adjustable due to the Velcro. They are comfy on my ankle. Arch support is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Wear a 9 in all my shoes Initially ordered the size 39 (8/2-9) was a good half inch too long and adjustable toe strap was too loose Reordered the size 38 fits perfectly I have very narrow feet but these adjusted beautifully Super comfortable good arch support Love the beaded closed heel Very hip Have received many compliments Highly recommend just be sure and I Order down a size They are worth every penny!

I bought these (in black) for Europe as I was in Spain for 5 weeks studying abroad and I love this shoe! It fits well, it's comfortable, and stylish (can wear with pants, skirts, dresses, shorts). The arch support is a little weird at first, it seems to be back further than normal, but once I wore the shoe a few times I don't even notice it anymore. The fact that the straps are adjustable is great!

Comfy, beautiful, fits narrow foot, heel feels great. Definitely recommend for plantar fasciitis.

This sandal fits well and is true-to-size. The arch is very high, but that is exactly what I need because of my struggle and pain with plantar fasciitis and overpronation. When I wear these sandals, my feet and ankles feel great!! I wish I could afford several more colors :)

This is my fourth pair of Aertrex sandals. I have a narrow foot and all the straps are adjustable.

The fit is perfect. GREAT support. Nice to have adjustable straps across toes and ankles. I wear a 40 in Naot and 8.5 in Aetrex. Both great support. Brenda is a really cute style. Think I will order the black too. Thanks Zappos!!
