We love PLAE shoes! Easy for the kids to put on and take on by themselves. Also can dress them up and down ??

This the third pair I have purchased for my son and daughter. Because they have wide feet, it limits the brands we have to choose from. The recommendation from Plae is that if your child has a wide foot, just buy half a size larger. This is one the pair of shoes I can get away with buying one whole size larger without them tripping over themselves, so we get a lot of life out of them. The nice thing about these shoes are that if they outgrow the tabs before the shoe (which is what was happening with Stride Rite and Saucony), you can just buy larger tabs for about $5. My kids will get about six months of wear since they only wear them to school.

Great shoe for my active 5 year old. It is easy to put on, extremely lightweight, and flexible. So far a great purchase.

We've had the shoes for about a week. They are easy for my 4yr old to put on herself. She has a wide foot, so we've just switched to thinner socks when wearing these. Overall, the comfort and durability seems good.

Very durable and well constructed shoe. They don’t fit my daughter anymore and they have been worn a lot but look practically new. They were easy for her to get on as a 3-4 year old and great if you have a child whose feet are a little chunky or slightly broad.

Really nice quality

Second time buying these for our kiddo. Fit great, wear incredibly well and we feel good about giving her feet great support. Would buy again. Wish they had more color selections as we want her to feel like theylook nee new not the same as the last pair but didn’t want to do a light color as they are hard to keep clean. Gender neutral greens, red, classic navy would be awesome. Even orange would be cool. Love our purple and magenta ones though?? Thanks for the great product!

The perfect shoe especially for Kindergarten!

I love the flexible soles. My daughter loves the pink sparkles. She also finds the shoes comfortable.

My daughter loves these shoes but they do run 1/2 size to a full size big.

Our little girl loves these shoes. Easy for her to put on (although she has to work on putting the strap tight), sturdy without tripping her up when she runs around. Should have plenty of room to grow a little bit (we bought a half size up). She'll wear them happily with or without socks. And they look cute!

We LOVE these shoes for my daughter who wears SMO orthotics. Her SureSteps fit in them really well. At first, we ordered size 8 after using the sizing chart from the Plae.co website. However, her toes felt like they had little room left in the front of the shoe. They weren't crowded, so they probably fit perfectly, but I knew if she grew any amount that they wouldn't fit any more. The orthotics even fit fine in the size 8, but when we ordered the size 9, we found a comfortable amount of room was left in the shoe when she wore them. The Ty shoes are super stylish and look great! They are also very sturdy and the heel doesn't cave in when trying to get the SMO to slide in. The SMOs also don't rub tears into the lining of Plae brand's Ty shoes like they do in cheaper pairs. We did have to order bigger tabs for the shoes in order to accomodate her orthotics. You cannot choose a tab size when ordering shoes; sizes 6-9 come with small tabs. You have to order larger tabs separately. We ordered XL and they fit fine, but L tabs would have probably done nicely. To summarize, these shoes fit better than any pair we have ever used since getting orthotics for my child and they are extremely high quality and sturdy.

I really like this shoe - holds up well from the rough treatment they receive from both of my girls. The love the color and the sparkle. Removable insole with arch support - recommendation from the sales staff (purchased first pair in store) was to take it out and have our daughters stand on it. Perfect fit for my younger daughter; slightly too narrow for my older one. Will probably go with a different brand for her next time and stick with this one for the younger one.

My daughter loved these shoes. They are perfect as she is still learning to tie her shoes.

MY very active 4yo daughter loves these. She especially wanted summer shoes that 'wouldn't get sand in them'. These are high enough on the ankle to do that! And I echo other moms who say that she can put them on herself, which we both love. Ours are silver sparkles, which hides the dirt, and comfy enough for her to wear with or without socks.

These are the perfect summer shoes for a kid who spends a lot of time outdoors running around. And not having to tie them saves me a minute or so in the morning. For a working mom who’s always in a mad rush to leave the house, those extra minutes count ??

We love plae!

I bought these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them! She said they are comfortable. I like the adjustable tabs for her narrow foot.

My daughter is the pickiest when it comes to shoes and she wrecks havoc on them! This is our second pair of the PLAE Ty because they are comfortable and nearly indestructible. When it comes to price point, these shoes hold up much better than many shoes in the same price bracket. Definitely a favorite.

Great little shoes. My very picky daughter loves these because they are shiny silver and she can put them on easily by herself. She can run and play outside and they have really held up well.
