We love Plae shoes -- they're the only ones that have outlasted our kids growth. However, our most recent experience has been disappointing. Just two months after receiving these shoes, the stitching came out of one of the straps/tabs, making it unusable. I emailed Plae twice asking for a replacement to the tab, as I couldn't buy new tabs online given they are sold out in all relevant colors. I received no response to either email. Given this, we will think twice about buying Plae shoes in the future.

Did not hold up as they should for the price. After one month of wear, there are holes in the leather of the front of the shoe. Disappointing purchase.

I bought these shoes for my daughter about six months ago. She's not particularly hard on shoes (6 years old), but within a few weeks, the shoes had a hole in them. Now, they're practically falling apart. For $55, I'd expect them to hold up much better. We've had better luck with other brands, such as Stride Rite.

I love the way these shoes look and my daughter has been using the same pair for a year. The only problem, which is pretty significant to me, is that the shoes show every speck of dirt! She has the pink pair and they just look so gross. I have washed them in the washer and scrubbed them but it doesn’t make a difference. The rubber white part looks yellowish and the pink suede looks dingy. They are only cute until they get dirty and then they look so gross. Even with this, I plan on buying another pair because my daughter is comfortable in them. However, I will definitely buy the darkest pair they make.

My 4 yr old daughter wears foot/ankle braces, and finding shoes to fit over them has always been a challenge. I saw some other mothers on FB talking about this brand. I checked the PLAE website and found out the sneakers can be adjusted/accommodated for children who wear AFOs or SMOs. These shoes are perfect for my daughter. I was able to remove the insole easily and the velcro straps fit perfectly across. If needed you can also purchase the extra long velcro straps and swap them out to add more room. Very easy to do. The quality is fantastic and the look is so cute. So glad I found this brand and definitely recommend them for all kids.

These are great as long as your kid doesn’t have wide feet. These fit my daughter perfectly, but she’s getting to the age where she likes to show her own style, so I ordered these and 2 other pairs and she decided on a different pair. If it were up “solely” (haha) to me though, these would have won!

We have loved Plae shoes ever since my oldest daughter started wearing orthotics in her shoes. Now my youngest has the same foot problems that require an orthidic, so we're loading up on our favorite Plae styles for her. I love the extra rubber over the toe (a spot that my girls tend to wear out on other brands). The shoes are cute and the insert is easily removed and replaced with my daughters' custom inserts. Over the past 4 years my girls have worn several Plae shoes, all have held up nicely to the daily punishment my two active daughters put them through.

We got these after reading they are advertised for orthotics. My 2 year old wears SMOs, I was not happy with the fit the shoe didn’t seem secure at all, I don’t think a longer Velcro strap would make much of a difference. We will stick with wife new balances for now.

i loved these shoes, they were worn until they were worn out by my 6 year old daughter. the quality and comfort were exceptional as well as being adorable. i would buy her another pair if they went up that big!

These fit as expected. And have held up with my active girl.

My daughter thought they were a little too loose and slide a bit. After one season the side of the shoes started to separate but she is pretty rough on shoes.

My 5 year old loves this sneakers, this is our second pair or the same color so much she loves it. It’s easy to put on, easy to clean/ wash and durable!

Ran big for my four year old. Returned for a half size smaller and this was perfect. This is a very sturdy shoe that has held up very well. It is also easy for her to put on herself.

I love this shoe. It’s so comfortable and easy to slip on. I love the metallic color also.

My two year old refuses to wear anything other than Plae ty shoes. These are her second pair (we tried some different brands in the middle but had to return all) but she feels invincible in these fun and fantastic quality shoes. Also she can easily take them off and attempts to put them on herself- bonus!

perfect fit and super comfy!

My littlest really loves these shoes. They are cute, very easy to put on, and she runs well in them. The only gripes I have is that they aren't the easiest to get tight because there's no loop for the "buckle" to go through, but I do love that there's added velcro on the tongue to help keep them in place.

Fit great over SMOs. The upper is very flexible and forgiving allowing a wide range of fits and enough width to fit over the SMO without having to increase the length dramatically. Remember to remove the insole when using with an SMO to give even more space for the SMO.

Well, these shoes were sent by post to my four year old granddaughter. They must be what she likes, because her Mom sends me the link to order online and this is the third time for me to order her Plae shoes. Their feet just keep on getting bigger. I'm called the shoe fairy in their household!

This shoe offers excellent contour, shape, & support for the foot. This is a high quality & sturdy shoe. Removable cushion insert. Design also offers good toe protection. These can be washed in the washing machine! I hate spending more than $50 on a pair of shoes for my highly active & growing kids, who are hard on shoes. I also want them to wear decent quality shoes for their feet. These are in my price range for a great value. This is the second pair I’ve purchased for my daughter. Luckily my daughter loves them as much as I do!

Comfortable and cute!

My daughter loves these shoes. Our older son has a pair that he loves too. They are durable and have been put through some serious play time. Absolutely worth it.

I bought these for my 6 who has extremely wide feet. They are really well made and the fit is great. Unlike most shoes, she has no complaints of these being uncomfortable or painful!
