Waterproof, with plenty of storage. This is a great commuter bag for a walker! (And a public transit user.)

I had gotten a much older version for free and the strap adjuster on it kept on digging into my stomach. This new version fixes that and also includes a handle on top. Love it.

The (extra small) Classic Messenger is perfect for traveling. Just the right size - can fit a guidebook, map, camera or phone, compact umbrella and sunglasses. The Velcro, snaps and heavy duty strap make it virtually pickpocket proof.

Yup this is my third. Just retired the one I bought in oh goodness where does the time go? 2006? Definitely well loved and a little worse for the wear and tear so it was time. Cheers to you all for making such an amazing bag!

Really good, capacity is great, pockets could be a little bigger. I like it though. No perfect bag on the market. Thus one is very close! Would put my name on it, which is Tim... Oh, wait, it's already there :)))

I purchased this messenger bag to replace a smaller version of one that I've been using for the past two years. The one I have is still in excellent condition using almost on a daily basis. These bags hold up very well. This one is a great size and made very well. So glad I purchased it.

Bought the monsoon color in shades of blue. The lightest blue planel is darker than photo. Solid material great workmanship. Great size for my Microsoft Surface laptop 2 with room for an internal padded sleeve.

I use the bag to commute on the bus and love it! The medium size has enough room for my laptop, umbrella, a couple books and my coffee mug, and more. I've used their messenger bags for years and this bag has a lot of updated features, such as the quick adjustable strap which is great! Great value.

I've only been using my new bag for about a week but I love it. I wished the strap was a bit longer so I could wear it as a crossbody too and I like to hit about hip level but all in all it's great.

I've bought this bag back in 2014 for my travels and bike commuting and it has withstood my regular abuse (laptop, too much groceries, heavy items, books, etc.) during cold winters with snow, foggy and rainy springs and baking hot summers. It even survived my crash with a car without a scratch and a couple of overseas backpacking holidays.
After 5 years of everyday use, tthe colour is a bit sunwashed but it is still water-resistant and all the straps, buckles and zippers are in perfect working condition. Unfortunately, the interior is showing the wear and tear and it might only have a year or so left regarding the water-resistance. After that... A new Timbuk2 bag! Definitely!

I am on the road all day. I have only had this bag for a week so i cannot comment on wear and tear yet but the design is perfect. It is lightweight and has the right amount of pockets to store my other gear needed. I did measure my laptop prior to orderting this bag and it just fits which is great. It is easy to throw on my shoulder when I am in and out of sales calls and the design works with casual dress or when I am in a suit. The color i purchased was storm so it is blues and grays.

I have been searching for years for a replacement for a Patagonia small messenger bag - I hated the new re-designed ones they were showing. I love this bag, big enough for my mini Ipad, notebook and wallet, glasses, and everything else I daily need when work. Stuff does not get lost in this bag. My keys can be tethered, glasses case in a vertical stretchy pouch and it's all waterproof. Love the reflective tags as I walk after dark to my car at work - even that little bit of reflector helps alert drivers. Very durable & the strap is a quick release adjustable one - very nice! Hello my new bag!

wanted a small size. It's great for every day. I wish it had a little padding for a tablet or laptop. How about a sleeve just for that?Otherwise, I like these messenger bags a lot.

I like this bag, the only change I would add a handle on the top instead of the back top. Thanks for designing and making a waterproof and functional bag.

I've only been using the bag for a short while. I got it to complement my new bike for commuting since the new bike will not take a rear rack (Cannondale Topstone Carbon) and I can't use my existing panniers. I was concerned about it possibly not fitting my 15" MBP which I carry in a Thule semi-hard case. No problem, the computer inside the case fits perfectly and snugly in the computer sleeve area of the bag.
I really appreciate the additional diagonal chest strap which keeps the load from shifting while riding as well as the little webbing loop on the back where I can attach an additional tail light on a clip.
The bag is well designed and seems very well put together so I'm not expecting any issues in terms of durability.
I got the "Hazard" color pattern which is killer for daylight visibility and also just looks pretty cool.
