I love this! There are only 2 very small drawbacks. The first is that the small size feels tight for a 1" binder. If you want to carry more than one binder, I recommend getting the bigger size. It fits my 13.3" laptop and my iPad perfectly though. The other drawback is that you cannot put pins through the waterproof material. I love putting pins on my backpack and the only place I can do that on this is the front zipper pocket with the green key string thing (not sure what it's called) and the strap. Not sure if that's a drawback but I feel like it's something people should know.

Just a little too small for me. It would also be nice if it had a handle for easier pickup when it is laying down. Also, the exterior straps are too small to fit over the handle of my suitcase so it is only useful as a bag wrapped around my bodytoo bad

I bought it as a daily commuter bag and it's excellent in most respects, but I was a little disappointed in the number of pockets. There are several zippered pockets, but they are small, and some places for pens and small objects, but no interior pockets and no large pockets (there is a laptop divider).

This bag replaced a similar sized Tumi bag but has a lot more room. It took a little to adapt but once I got organized found that this bag with it's comparable size profile is more room inside, which is great. The build quality is great, looks good and price is right. I haven't quite figured out how to stick a wet umbrella into it - my old Tumi had an exterior pocket - otherwise this would be a 5 star review...

I bought this bag to replace a trusty old Swiss Gear laptop bag that finally became unusable because of broken zippers, and I really miss all of its compartments and pockets, which were filled with "emergency" supplies such as extra cables, bandaids, earplugs, plastic-ware, masks, trail mix, towelettes.... The website recommended a bag this size for my 13" laptop, but it feels small. Still, it seems like a solid bag, it definitely looks sleek and attractive, and I like its eco materials. I might give it to my wife and try something else. Maybe I'm not the right customer for this bag.

Fantastic bag for my 13" Air! Only dropped a star because I wish it came with the more protective crater pocket my old bag had. Still, plenty of pockets, light weight, and stylish. Would definitely buy again.

This is a great bag and mostly the perfect size except that the space is split down the middle in such a way that if you have something big in one half you can't fit anything except paper in the other half. Also the strap is very comfortable but the mechanism that changes the length is very easy to hit so that it unlocks.

It's a nice looking bag. Could use a few more pockets for organization.

I use it for business and personal travel. Love everything about it: the size, the color, the shoulder strap, the interior pockets. Just wish there was a handle on top of the exterior flap so that I could also hold it in my hand.

I use this bag for bike commuting. It does what I need it to do. I should have went with a larger size but in the end I will make it work. So far I believe it to be a quality product and hope to use it for many years

I purchased this to replace a custom-made bag that was falling apart. The custom bag was tailored specifically to me, so this is a bit more generic than what I'm used to. So far, the bag is working just fine for carrying books and other school materials. The inside is very spacious, but almost too much so because I have a hard time getting flexible books to stay upright instead of bending in a curve. The divider in the back is good for this purpose, but I wish it had a second internal pocket. The water bottle pouch is too small for my bottle, so it takes a lot of effort to fit the bottle in or remove it. The yellow color is really nice and true to what I was expecting. I have only used the bag for one to two weeks, but I am hopeful it will hold up with daily use.

This is a great bag with plenty of storage space. Able to easily fit my laptop, notebook, chords, & a variety of biz needs. Love the front pouch and the easy seal Velcro flap. The adjustable strap is ultra supportive and comfortable. Long commutes and bike rides are effortless due to the strength and stability. Only complaint are the extra long straps at the bottom that seem to get in the way more than they help. They are adjustable, but too much slack hangs at the bottom of the bag. Other than that, really liking this bag, it's function, and the design and available colors. If you want a reserved and boring bag, this is not it!

I use this satchel as my everyday briefcase. It is very well constructed with all the options and little pockets I need to store various pens, passports, notepads, and computer. I think the size of the velcro used to close the satchel is a little too large. I have to use two hands to open the bag and this seems unnecessarily secure.

Bought this as a gift for my husband and he loved it - he's been using a Timbuk2 messenger for a while now but that was really old. Was expecting the color contrast to be higher in the banding but the overall look is still really good. It doesn't seem as functional as his earlier messenger though where there were pockets for holding bottles etc.

I use the bag.every day. It is my man purse. I can fit all the essentials in it including the occasional chocolate bar. I like the fact it is secure while i am carrying it. I rarely use the snap straps except when i am flying as a second security measure.

My purchase experience was ok, and I like what I have gotten for what I paid for. But getting to this rating page took too many tries for things to work.

I carry a lot of stuff with me and use a small crossbody bag all the time. Some of my friends tease me about my "purse" or "little man bag." I've been coveting my business partner's Timbuk2 messenger bag for quite a while, and finally bought one (Classic Messenger Bag in beautiful nautical blue color - a nice change from all the black bags and backpacks that I've always had). It comes in 3 sizes, which is great, depending on your needs. I don't use it for a laptop or anything large, so got the small size, which fits all of the things I carry from day to day: eyeglass case, an eyeglass cleaning kit, toothbrush and toothpaste, a notebook and pens, wallet, pocket knife, etc. It has a well-thought-out design with good organizing pockets. The bag very good looking and extremely well-constructed. I can tell that it will last for many, many years, like the one my partner carries - his is quite old and shows some signs of wear, but it still looks great. There's only one thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars: to access anything in the bag, you have to open two locking clips on the cover flap. This may be a good security feature, but it prevents quick and easy access to stuff in the bag. It would be better to have one of more small zippered pockets on the outside of the bag or on the cover flap. It's a minor issue in an overall great messenger bag.

Overall, a great bag. I'd like one more side pocket with a zipper that didn't require unbuckling the clasps and ripping the velcro, and a bit of padding for the interior laptop slot.

This is my third mini messenger that I use as a daily purse. The pockets are fantastic, the bag is super durable and so functional. I'm surprised by how many comments I get on it. I'd suggest an out water bottle sleeve/pocket, but on the mini bag- it may end up too lopsided. Thanks for the great product.
