It is my office bag for commuting and teleworking. I like the tough canvas and size. Easy to shoulder.

Like very much the fabric, the overall weight and especially the strap that makes very comfortable to carry. However my 17" laptop does not fit in the computer pouch, it is sawn to the back and not the sides reducing the capacity. Good product but maybe I should have purchased a bigger size???

I love the color and capacity. Carry a book, umbrella, wallet, keys, phone, and a bottle of water. Wish the shoulder strap was longer as it just barely crosses my shoulders.

Thank you for making an awesome bag! I replaced my older messenger bag (purchased in 2008) which is still in very good condition minus the inside liner that has somewhat deteriorated on only the flap side. It remains very usable and in excellent overall condition for its age. I purchased the Eco Rind Pop (just prior to the newest messenger bag upgrade.) I am overall pleased, though I do miss the extra zippered pockets on the outside, the larger outside side zip pocket and the more diverse compartments in the inside such as pen/pencil divider and flap pocket divider that my old bag offered. The inside compartments in the new bag are different. I miss the older design. Overall I so appreciate and enjoy Timbuk2's quality and longevity. I would definitely recommend to others!!

I use it to carry art supplies and it does the job very well . The material seems sturdy and lightweight. I think I prefer a backpack over a messenger bag, if I will be carrying a lot of supplies, but if I'm keeping it lightweight the messenger does the job.

The Small was the perfect size for casual commuting. I like that the cross belly strap is standard. Enough pockets for just about anything. Material send secure and Drabble.

For someone big and tall, the strap isn't that long, but love the bag!

I love the bag and the convenience. Pockets and all the dividers are super helpful for all my daily needs. My only wish is that there was something at the bottom of the bag for some structure because it's hard to keep upright with nothing in it.

It's a great bag. Very functional for my office job because it fits all my essentials. I also love the color. I recommend this bag.

This classic messenger bag is of excellent value & quality. I purchased a new bag after having my initial bag for 5 years.

This is the perfect size for carrying essentials and my laptop. The only thing I felt was missing was a padded area for my computer. It would have been nice to have that built-in instead of having to use a sleeve.

I uses this bag as a daily carry. For work it takes my files, notebook and iPad. On the weekends, it becomes either like a gym bag with extra clothing or my bike bag. I purchased a Med size. It expands enough to hold my bike lock, helmet, rain gear and an extra pair of shoes when I ride, but just barely.
I had a timubk2 bag from 15 years ago, and I the changes are mostly good. I dislike that the interior organizer has gotten flimsier (it used to be much beefier and had a chamois liner for your sunglasses) Also, the adjustable buckle that holds the cross strap snug in not as strong as it used to be.
Generally, this bag meets the need and is well built, especially at the price. I feel there is room for improvement even if the bag cost a little more.

I bought this bag for work travel. Overall it's great, hold everything I need and I've gotten a few compliments along the way. Only minor complaint I have is the strap is kind of bulky on my shoulder. Also I wish the handle on the back would fit over my suitcase handle so I could secure it when walking through the airport. Oh! also not a fan of the intense Velcro inside the front flap. It's very loud when opening in an office setting haha! Ive since covered the velcro with fabric so not an issue anymore! Love that it's Earth friendly!

I used the bag to carry my things while visiting and touring different cities. It has loads of pockets for envy from passport to water and umbrella. It's comfortable to carry and keeps things secure while walking around the city.

I love the size and multiple pockets. It fits an iPad pro and I can carry multiple things inside. However the only real complaint I have is the velcro. At first I didn't mind it but I realized that its kind of a hassle and very noisey. It seems unnecessary as well since there are buckles to keep the back closed. Other than that, its a really nice bag

needed a smaller bag that fit into my panniers for bike commuting and this one fits, still getting used to where to put everything coming from a bigger bag but it is not the size but more the different pockets

Nice bag, perfect for regular daily use. It'sa little small for carrying a ring binder but it works. Great for just laptop and a few books or paperwork.
Wish it had better pen slots for quick access and secure storage.

SUMMARY: This is a useful, comfortable bag that I expect to own for a long time, but I will probably always gripe about the change to a single, narrower horizontal-zip pocket (under the main opening flap).
If not for this change, I would buy a second bag for leisure use.
USE: I use this bag for work - holds my keys, wallet, laptop, lunch, etc. for going to and from my desk job. It replaces the medium classic messenger bag I bought more than 10 years ago. The new bag offers some distinct pros and cons over the old bag.
PRO: The new bag's pros are the added internal pockets on either end (for water bottles), a redesigned cam buckle for easier adjustments, and flap closure straps that cinch down to collapse the bag against its contents (avoids lose/floppy feel when worn).
CON: The biggest con is fewer storage pockets and a narrow key-access pocket. Overall, the new medium bag's interior space is smaller than the old medium bag. There are fewer pockets under the main opening flap, both inside and out. Inside the bag, that means less internal organizer space (for pens, biz cards, etc). The external pockets (under the main opening flap), have been reduced to one large horizontal-zippered pocket (compared with 3 previously) and a side-entry, vertical-zippered pocket. The side-entry pocket is fine, but the single horizontal-zip pocket is narrower than in the old bag, making it awkward to get my keys and wallet in & out.

I recently lost my XS messenger bag so I rushed out and bought a new one. The arrangement of pockets and dividers seems to be improved over my older model. I use the bag on vacations to carry the miscellaneous stuff I might need during the day. I also use it while riding a bike. The biggest problem while riding a bike is the lack of connectors to attach a cross strap. The new bag keeps sliding off my back while my old bag with a cross strap did not. For a bag that's advertised as a messenger bag, not working on a bike seems like a major flaw.

I miss the exterior pocket in the older model I got but otherwise it is sturdy and everything I love about timbuk2. Please note it is Amber as the name says, not the sunny yellow it appears on my phone!

Bought this as a new laptop bag for work, thus far it has worked well though it would be great if it also had a slightly more convenient place to securely store a mouse as well.

So far I like it a lot. Well made, lots of handy pockets, very comfy strap. One thing I wish it had: a grab loop on the front of the flap (like the one on the back side). I wear it, as I suspect most do, with the flap facing outwards. When I get ready to take it off my shoulder, I would like to be able to grab a loop on the outside to lower the bag. Right now I have to reach awkwardly to grab the loop on the other side.
