I've used Timbuk2 messenger bags for more than 20 years. Love them, the quality and functionality. It was time to upgrade a bag and love the Monsoon colors along with the mix of traditional features along with a few new ones (like the new buckle). I also love the subtle way that the panel colors match the clip tabs, handle and strap pad. I originally purchased the Small version, but then purchased the Medium as well. Love them both!

The perfect bag! Amazing construction, and in my opinion easier to use and find stuff than a day pack. My go-to bag.

I love this bag - I needed it for a work trip to London & it had everything I wanted (messenger style, lots of pockets, waterproof) and it was just extra secure. I'm impressed with the quality, it's very sturdy and well made - plus, I've gotten lots of compliments on the beautiful golden color!

Love this bag. I still have every Timbuk 2 bag I've purchased - first one in 1992! They are workhorses. I bought this new one because it has more pockets to stash stuff, including a water bottle. Misread the size so my laptop doesn't fit but that isn't something I carry all the time anyway. It's my new "purse" and it fits all my necessities. Plus I have an old "gadget" bag velcroed to the strap for my phone. Perfect.

I purchased a size medium to use as my everyday bag during my husband's extended hospitalization. I wanted something big enough to carry my every day items (books, laptop, raincoat, wallet, phone, keys, water bottle) that would also accommodate the daily list of items he wanted me to bring from home. I love the hands-free crossbody, especially when I'm carrying travel coffees for us to enjoy each morning. I considered this bag for several months before I decided to purchase, and I'm glad I did. I've been using Timbuk2 products for 10 years (small messenger, back pack, wallet, overnight duffle) - and I've never regretted any of my purchases.

The hardware seems to have had a slight upgrade, the quick releases are still to small and often hard to open. I think you should go toward metal, as the plastic ones broke due to not being clipped all the time. An option could be engineered to keep the clips secured under the the cover but I think the metal option may be best.
I like that the side access pocket can now be got at from both sides, I am sure left handers will appreciate that.

Love this bag. I use it every day for work to hold all of my things--including a laptop, my book, a notebook, all of the pens and other stuff. I got this one because I saw my friend's and what I loved was the ability to see everything at once (unlike my cramped backpack).

I really like this messenger bag for the quality of the material, number of pockets with zippers which make for good organization. Fits my 11" iPad Pro including sleeve perfectly. Only thing I'd improve on would be the internal bottle pouches. There are two (which is nice) but they are somewhat flimsy and it's always a struggle to store my steel water bottle. Once it's in it is very secure.

I recently got my hands on a jet black Timbuk2 messenger bag, and I have to say, it's an absolute winner. The bag is incredibly well-designed, with a sleek and fashionable appearance that fits seamlessly into both casual and professional settings.
What I love most is how well it carries. The strap is comfortable, and the bag distributes weight evenly, making it easy to carry around all day. It has plenty of storage, with pockets and compartments that are well-thought-out, giving me space for all my essentials without ever feeling cluttered. Whether I'm carrying my laptop, notebooks, or everyday gear, everything fits perfectly and stays organized.
The durable material and sharp look make it a practical yet stylish choice. Overall, the Timbuk2 messenger bag is both functional and fashionable, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for the perfect everyday bag.

Just began my first full time job at a university and decided it was time to get my first "adult" bag. It has been perfect for my laptop, work documents, lunch, water bottle, and any other edc items I may need.

Take a look at this crew (see pic). I have 2 of these Large Messenger bags and a Medium sized one too. I've owned them for 15 years or more now, and use them regularly for all driving trips, camping trips, and excursions across the country. The large ones have all of the same functionality (adjustable strap, velcro, inside lining durability, etc) that they had when they were new. The Medium sized one is used for collecting rocks. It has been through many dozens of trips where I just throw rocks in them, and carry the load around all day, and somehow the bag is just as durable as it was when I bought it new. I am about to load out for another 2 week trip across America, and I would not think of leaving home without my Timbuk2 bags.

This is my everyday bag. My man-purse. It has room for everything I need to carry around. The construction is solid and the material is durable and attractive. My only complaint is lack of larger pockets inside. I ended up buying small pouches to help organize adapters, cables, etc.

I use it on domestic business trips and leisure trips to Europe. It is perfect size to hold a paperback book, sunglasses, pens, change, safe zipped pocket for passport and keys, sunscreen etc without being bulky and taking too much room. In addition it is pickpocket proof, not cumbersome, super strong . I LOVE IT

I Bought this messenger for my work commute. It fits my computer and what I need for the day perfectly. The quality is evident, and I know I'll have it as long as my original T2 messenger.

I love this bag! My only problem is it may be too big for what I got it for - but that's my own fault! It's super pretty and VERY spacious, with a nice variety of zippered pockets. I AM having issues with the strap lengthening on its own, but I think that's user error...

I use it everyday. I commute by train, and I find it takes up much less room than a backpack while still easily holding my stuff.

Trying this for the first time by a high school student. It takes a little getting used to with all of the books, but so far it has worked out great!!

This large size is extra large and just what I needed. The wide padded strap really lightens the load. It just sits nicely on my body. Love it!
