I love the color - All these compartments ate really useful I like that I can slip my computer in if I need it Love the water mesh slot. I've gotten a ton of compliments on it. 2 friends of mine are seriously considering getting one.

I use this for work and it is a great bag. It would be great if there was another compartment behind the bag. But that's just me.

Outstanding Bag and great value. I would love to see more types of inserts. The Snoop Camera insert is cool, but not everyone is a photographer. How about an insert for other types of uses. IT, office, etc. Something that can drop in to the different bags and enhance the function. Maybe even something that can be customized.

Bought this to travel my gear for teaching yoga classes. As a guy, this bag works well for me. Balances minimalist - roomy,.. hip - classic,.. attractive - not girly. Only wish it came with an insert to help it hold shape.

I needed a durable bag for a trip abroad, and ordered my bag on a recommendation from a friend. My only regret is that I should have ordered a size bigger (that's on me). The bag feels indestructible and lovely, perhaps like its owner. :-) I would purchase a bigger bag in a different color, if the good folks in SanFran premiere a different color palette in future options.

I work multiple jobs in an urban city, I also attend school. This bag has been an a godsend, helping a disorganized fellow like myself. The storage space is ideal for a busy day, deceptively roomy. Also does not stay bulky when minimally full. The multiple pockets help keep me organized. Weather proof, easy to clean, and versatile. This was a gift, and I will keep it forever.

I got this bag on christmas and I love it so far. Got the medium size and it's perfect for school and cycling, at first I was a little afraid the bag would be too big, but it is actually of a pretty good size, and after a few weeks of using it I'm glad I didn't bought one size smaller, the bag it's super roomy, I usually carry a 15' inch laptop, a couple of notebooks, some snaks, essential bike tools and two water bottles on the sides with no problem at all. The most useful things about this bag are: The shoulder strap: super easy to use and gives you the perfect strap lenght within seconds, of you ride a bike it's even better cause the bag won't be hanging all around, and you add the cross strap which is great and gives you a lot of security. Compression straps: simply awesome, you can adjust the actual dimensions on the bag, so if you aren't carrying a lot of stuff, you use them and get a super thin bag, plus you can use them to carry a jacket of something under the bag. The lots of pockets: starting with the napoleon one, I normally carry my wallet, campus ID, and cellphone there and it's true you can acces to it without oppening the flap (if it's too full it might be a little harsh though). The rest of the pockets are great to distribute all your little stuff without loosing it. The fabric: the cordura seems very durabable and the TPU liner it's really waterproof, and when it comes to cleaning things off like coffee spills ir anything (hope you dont do it as much as I do) it's super easy. Overall the bag is awesome, great in every aspect and I would definetly buy another timbukt2.

I never thought I'd move on from backpacks.. Food, water an umbrella a poncho and even the odd hoodie are no match for this bag; it's sturdy, stylish and for all purposes except swimming, waterproof. It's the most comfortable messenger bag I've ever owned, and the coolest too. It sits just right at any angle and doesn't dig into the shoulder on long walks. The cam system is absolute genius- adjusting on the fly is a breeze AND there's no overlap!

I am really enjoying my bag because it is small and compact, but still fits a lot of stuff inside. It is waterproof and multi-purpose. Sometimes I have a hard time getting it on with bulky coats and outerwear, but that is because I am too lazy to loosen the strap first.

I really enjoy the quick adjusting strap, sometimes it loosens itself- but that's not a huge issue.

A million thank you for such a awesome bag. I accidentally left my 3 year old Timbuk2 messenger bag outside in full rain here on January in Portland ... with my laptop, ipad, 3 other tablets, phone, passport, you name it. My whole professional life. And low and behold when I found it ... everything inside was dry. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! Jeff

I used this bag as my primary purse (I got the XS size)- it can hold so much (a water bottle, my book, my coffee cup, an extra grocery bag, my phone, music player, and wallet are regularly inside it). I also love that I can carry it around when it is raining cats and dogs and my stuff stays dry inside (not something I can say about all bags). I had another model for about 5 years - I loved it, but accidentally spilled milk in it, and it was starting to smell but also falling apart from daily use. This bag is an improvement from the previous model. The strap is easier to adjust, and has a nice pad on it. I like to carry my bag so that it sits above my hip, and I have a smaller torso, so I have to shorten the strap quite a lot. I love the inner pocket bags on the inside and the inner body separator - it keeps my book away from my water and food. I also love that the velcro strap is longer, and that the plastic buckles are smaller.

am using this bag on a daily basis to hold work related items - - - from a computer and i pad to file folders/calculator/safety glasses/and even hand tools needed on a construction site. i ordered the extra large version just in case i needed more room. as such, there is plenty of space to spare. the materials are top notch, perfect for the dust/dirt/moisture found on the job. the zippered compartments are perfect for smaller items. would be nice if there was a large zippered pocket running the width of the bag interior - - - but not a deal breaker. thus far, no complaints - only praise.

Bought this bag for my nephew. He loves it! It keeps up with his crazy, active lifestyle and is guaranteed to stand up to being knocked around, dragged around for years and years to come. Definitely recommend!

I use this, along with the camera insert, for a micro 4/3 camera gag. It holds an Olympus EM5. 5 lenses, filters, and a travel tripod attached to the straps on the bottom. If it had an external water bottle holder it would be perfect. This is not a problem if the camera insert is removed as there are water bottle holders inside. As a daily messenger bag it is wonderful. Room for my ipad, compact 6x30 binoculars, smart phone in external pocket, water bottle. snack bars, camera with attached lens, pens and notebooks. Overall this bag exceeded my expections.

I use this bag every day for both work and school. I regularly carry a Macbook Pro or Surface Pro 3 plus a mouse, chargers, pens, paper, and a water bottle in my Medium sized bag. The bag is fantastic. It's super durable, good looking, and comfortable. It can get a little heavy when it's loaded up with stuff. I had the previous generation messenger as well (now a camera bag), and the one thing I have to say that is negative about this bag is that it lacks some of the organizational pockets on the inside of the older model. I miss having those, but the water bottle pocket kind of makes up for it. Overall though, the main reason I keep coming back to Timbuk2 is their fantastic customer service. I've had to use them a few times, but the experience is always fast, pleasant, and helpful.

I ride a train to and from work daily and it's a trick to find a bag that is light, efficient, the right size, cool and smart. This bag is all of those things. I particularly like the coated nylon which has a smooth finish and is not stiff, unlike another Timbuk2 bag I have. I find medium is a much better size than small (I have both in different materials), for a laptop. The medium fits my small MAC laptop and still closes with no trouble. The small bag definitely is not big enough for a laptop as the cover doesn't close all the way over the velcro. Awkward. Medium is just right for me for my commuter needs. The blue/black combo is good looking without being loud.

I love every timbuk2 product I own (3 bags). My extra small messenger bag is durable and high quality and I think it's beautiful. Because it's an extra small (by my own choice), my only {very minimal} disappointment is my reusable water bottles don't fit well inside. Not a huge deal breaker for me, obviously, because I still LOVE the bag!!

I use this when I go to work. It's the perfect size for putting all that I need - large enough to store everything yet not excessively large.
