I’m always an 8 and I could not even get these on my feet, runs small, returning

Loved my original pair of these shoes (which had a thinner sole) - while the shoe was very comfortable to stand in, as soon as I tried to walk the back piece rubbed along my achilles tendon uncomfortably. I tried wearing them with no-show socks, and they just pulled the socks off my feet. So sadly I had to return them.

I would keep these shoes if the elastic straps were not so tight across the top of my feet. I noticed a few other customers commented on this in their reviews but I was hoping with my small feet that it would not be a problem. I was wrong. Will be returning this pair.

Clark's usually fit me right out of the box, but this shoe was tight all around on my 9M foot. Navy is cute with the contrast stitching, but I had to send it back.

This pair did not fit like my previous pairs of this shoe. Felt like about half size smaller and was wider across instep from the previous shoes I bought in the style. Very disappointing. Anonymous

disappointed that the shoe didn't fit. I usually wear a size 9 but this was way too small. Not true to size.

I usually wear a Clark’s 11W, but these cloud steppers or whatever they are called run narrow in the toe and wide in the heel. I think if they fit they might be comfortable.

These cloud steppers or what ever they call them run narrower than Clark’s usual 11W. Also the heel was wider than usual.

shoe was very comfortable, however they were to wider then marked.

Not made of leather which is disappointing. But the fit is good for my wide feet with narrow heels. They are a bit clunky looking but I'm at the point in my life where comfort is most important.

I have ordered three pair of the Clarks Sicillian Stork, the first quite a few months ago in size 7 and blue. I like them, although after several hours of wearing they would become pretty tight across the instep, but that didn't keep me from wearing them. Then I ordered them in black and this pair, also in size 7, were much more snug and I couldn't just slip them on and off like I could the blue ones. Then this summer I ordered the same shoe in pewter, also size 7, and they were so snug I couldn't wear them so I had to return them and ordered in 7-1/2. They were also very tight but still managed to sliip up and down on the heel so I've had to return them also.

I loved the look of these shoes and wanted them to work. They were too narrow for my usually medium or B width feet so I ordered the wide. Way too wide, especially at the heel, had to return. I don’t know what goes with Clark’s shoes but their fit is all over the map.

I bought this pair of black 8.5 N because I have a beige pair at home that I love. They fit perfectly and are cute and so useful. The shoes are identical and yet the black ones are way too small. I was super disappointed and am sending them back. Same shoe, same size and yet way too small. Doesn't make sense.

I have an old pair of this style in a tan color suade. This pair seems just a little too narrow in the 6W toe box so I returned them.

They are cute casual shoes. There was too much non-leather trimming for my taste and the instep, even with the elastic inserts, pinched badly.

I wanted to like this new version of one of my favorite shoes, which is why I didn't return it right away. But it was a little too big and the next size down too small.

Waa, I tried twice to get these shoes, thought the first pair was a fluke. The left shoe was a half size bigger and wider than the right. The second try, the right pinched the top of my foot. I think someone in the factory got it wrong. Really too bad because I liked them a lot.

I was hoping to replace my Haley Stork shoes with these. These are stiff, the back of the shoe is inflexible and uncomfortable against my ankle. They are too snug; normally a 9W from Clarks fits well, this was very snug all around. I wore a pair a couple of times with light use on a trip and at first thought maybe I could break them in but never wanted to wear the shoe again. I believe I would have ended up with wounds from this shoe.

Like many other reviewers, I prefer the previous version of this shoe. I loved it so much, I own it in four different colors. Unfortunately, they're all on their last legs and I need replacements. This is okay, but I'm not rushing out to buy multiple pairs.

Comfortable shoe but, even in a wide size, my feet were hanging over the edges. I think over time the shoes would look very sloppy and ill fitting. I can't quite describe it but, it's as though they used a medium width sole (because they seemed more narrow) on a wide shoe body.

I ordered this in my usual size (9N) and it was too tight. Sometimes I need 9.5s but narrows are almost always fine for me. Hmmm... I sent them back and am not even trying for 9.5s. I'm not giving up on Clarks though. And certainly not giving up on Zappos!

Sorry that shoe was too short. Other Clark’s size 8 fit well and style is nice for every day

This shoe is "OK". It feels a bit larger than the size and width indicated. I wouldn't call this a very fashionable shoe. The heel area in the back seems to be a bit high and after having them on for a while, they rub and start to get a bit sore. If I had thought about this more and worn them around the house a bit longer, I think I would have noticed this and returned them. I've kept them but I am not crazy about them.

Nice style on this classic shoe. For some reason, the heel back came up too high. Even with my orthotics it hit the back of my heels and might rub a blister. So i returned them. Thank you Zappos.

When these shoes arrived, I very much liked the look and feel of them, but when I tried them on, they were too short and I had to return them.
