This is the barefoot running shoe New Balance selected to make in a wide width. unfortunately, the design has a tight band around the last! exactly where someone with a wide foot cannot tolerate pinching. i will have to look to another manufacturer for my running shoes this season. The Nike in a standard width is wider than the new balance wide width this season.

Really like these but very short - I usually wear and 8 but like extra room. These 8.5 were more like an 8. :(

I wear 12 W these days, these would have been the perfect experimental shoes if they were just half a size bigger.. needless to say, they run a little small.

I usually take a 7 and I've narrow feet. I had to go 1/2 size up like people said. I'm not sure yet if the length will be comfortable-checking out the 30 day wear it for running shoes guarantee and return if you don't like it. Unfortunately I bought them July 2 so not much time to try it out and I'm going away, so may have to take info. and box for return if necessary with me! Width is fine and I am not a fitness shoe lover but my chiropractor said shoe w/support so heal lift can go in and be stable.. I do wish there was more of an arch support, but will see how it feels as I wear it out rather than just in my kitchen to see if it is truly comfortable.

I thought I was going to love these, but they just didn't work. I ordered a 9 1/2W, which is my usual athletic shoe size. They felt promising, but were just too short. I ordered a half size up and the length was right, but the shoe felt like it was restricting my foot movement. I'm not sure how else to describe it It's like my foot was going one way and the shoe another. I under pronate, and wear shoes that are either neutral or for supination. The minimal design felt really good - but these just weren't for me. If you want to try them I would order a half size up. Thank you Zappos for letting me try so many options!

usually wear 10.5 and this fit normally (size 11). For being 'Minimus' there is sure a bunch of rubber that I don't like wrapped around the sides of the mid/fore foot which leave it less flexible to allow give for my foot. It's like the arch is too far forward but I think it's just the outer rubber support and it digs into my foot. Sent em back.

Full disclosure : I am not a runner. I was looking for a low profile shoe due to sore Achilles’ tendon, n thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately,they cut into/ across the top of my foot. I was hoping they would have at least a bit of cushion but not so. I m sure there r athletes out there who will love them but these r going back.

Too narrow and a little on the smaller size - might suggest ordering a half size larger though that may be too large. Shoe felt too much like a water shoe. Love the style, but had to return.

I checked that it felt narrower because it chokes together in heel and arch area then boom out into a box which was still too tight in trigger areas like bones, for me and I have average feet. I wear an 8. I ordered 8 1/2 because of reviews. They were too tight and short. I ordered a 9, they were just not right too long and too narrow for me so I ordered an 8 1/2 in a wide and these were okay length wise but tight in the heel and arch it was instant pain still too narrow in the toe. I wound up getting Merrell Vipor 3 in a size 8 1/2 wide and could wear them immediately and is my fist pair of barefoot shoes. I basically go barefoot and can't wear a heel at all because of my back so I didn't need a break in period. I've used Zappos for as long as I can remember. They've always been good to me.

I liked it but not exactly the color I hoped. I was hoping for a little lighter.

I wanted to love this shoe so bad. I have several pairs of NB tennis shoes. I ordered a size 10.5 (even though I wear a 10). I could not get my foot in this shoes. So disappointed.

I was glad to see these and ordered a pair as I love my New Balance Minimus WT10V2, that I purchased in 2015. I purchased these in a 9 just like my other pair and these felt like they pinched my heel arch and the side of the toe box. The outsole is reinforced so much that it feels uncomfortable and not as minimalist as the WT10V2. Plus they no longer have a little strip of fabric on the heel to prevent the shoe from digging in to your ankle. These only look as good as New Balance's earlier Minimus shoes, but they are more like regular shoes trying to masquerade as minimalist shoes. Sadly they are being returned.

These shoes didn't look like they'd last. The rubber part isn't glued or sewn onto the shoe completely. I couldn't really tell if they'd be comfortable because they were too small. The style was nice but if they don't hold up...what's the point?

I have the older edition of these and love them. I was really looking forward to getting these, however they do not fit. I have a wide foot and they are way to tight over the ball of the foot. I was very disappointed and hope they come out with a new one that is actually wide. I think the design has improved somewhat from the earlier model, but they are not nearly wide enough for being advertised as a wide shoe...

I love these but sadly they just don't work for me, the piece across the top (black) is wrong for my wider foot even in the D width...I wish they were a match! Light weight, comfortable except for that piece...they are exactly what I wanted! Searching still for a minimalist shoe.

I had this same style shoe before and loved. This one runs much smaller. I recommend order a larger size.

These feel MUCH tighter than previous minimus styles. I've had another pair for a little over a year and needed a new pair. I ordered the exact same size and could barely squeeze my foot in. One size up is better but not near as easily slipped on as my previous pair. The tongue of the shoe is sewn down and not super flexible or stretchy. Bummer. I loved my previous pair.

Really wanted to like these, but much narrower and smaller than I was expecting, and no sizes wider that I can order. :(

These look great, so I was really disappointed to discover they come up too high on my heel, and I knew after taking one step that I'd be asking for blisters if I kept them. Also, the left shoe was too narrow, which was strange because the right shoe fit fine. Maybe it was just a fluke? I'm not sure, as I've never really had that problem before.

I like the tread and minimal feel of this shoe, but there are rubber flaps that wrap around the sides of my foot which caused me some pain. Had to return.

I have more problems with shoes! These were ones I had before and they worked but since they changed the style not so much - missing my Wx20v3's sadly had to return these

I wanted to love these shoes. They are cute and perfect in every way, except for the band that goes across the ball of the foot. Even in a wide, it's painfully constricting. On to a different brand.

Super cute and lightweight, but the band right across the ball of the foot is way too tight! They had to go back.

Usually buy 7W or 7.5W- 7.5W is way too short! Need to order 8W or 8.5W. That is how small these run! 3 stars because I cannot rate Comfort or Overall due to poor fit. Cuter out of the box than they look in the pic, tho.

I love the look of the shoes but they squeeze pretty tight where the Vibram band is located. My feet hurt a lot after a few hours of festival walking. My toes don't come to the end but the sides are too tight so I may try to go up half a size to see if that helps.
